    Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor (MAHSR) or Mumbai-Ahmedabad HSR is an under-construction high-speed rail line, which will connect Mumbai, the financial hub of India, with Ahmedabad, the largest city in the state of Gujarat. When completed, it will be India's first high-speed rail line
    Pune - Nashik Semi High-Speed Rail corridor project is a 234.60 km proposed semi high-speed double rail line connecting Pune and Nashik in Maharashtra through 24 stations at an estimated cost of Rs. 16,039 crore.
    Passenger trains on this greenfield line, with a deadline of 2027, will operate with a top speed of 200 kmph and cover the distance between Pune and Nashik in two hours while passing through the districts of Pune, Ahmednagar and Nashik.
    The Silver Line is a proposed higher-speed rail line in India that would connect Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city, and Kasaragod of Kerala state. It will have an operating speed of 200 kilometres per hour (120 mph), Maximum Design Speed: 220 km/h (140 mph), structures designed for 250 km/h (160 mph) allowing trains to cover the 532-kilometre (331 mi) distance in less than four hours, compared to the present 10 to 12 hours it takes to traverse this distance. Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Chengannur, Kottayam, Kochi, Thrissur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod will be the stations in this corridor.[

    operations of Mumbai Ahmedabad HSR.After only this, they will expand quickly.Similarly like First vande Bharat between Delhi and Varanasi ran alone for 2-3 years.

    Standardisation is essential for any country when it comes to critical infra
    It not only reduces complexities but also reduces infrastructure cost and cost of services.
    As for kerela silver line, the state itself is bankrupt and their proposed design is not even hsr, the new project layout will be required to make it true hsr but kerela as i said is bankrupt

    For K rail Indian railways has the fantastic opportunity to prove itself by undertaking this greenfield project, constructing a separate high speed corridor parallel to existing line and operating vande bharat at 180-200kmph. Would be a fantastic starting point for the higher speed vande bharat pilot project.
    As a resident of TN I am very impressed by this specific decision of Kerala government and wish that the centre would not stonewall simply for politics. If standardisation is the issue then they can be guided on how to better match the vision of indian railways rather than being completely stopped. Same story with bengaluru suburban railway which is very much necessary.

    Kerala govt didn't intend to do anything. It was just fooling it's people. And the project was deliberately designed in such way that center would reject it. Thus they would have no need to construct anything and blame everything in BJP.

    I guess, central government yaha pe future of indian railways dekh rahi hai. Vande bharat abhi 180 kar sakti hai, future me trains 200 plus kar lengi. Just track ka issue hai. Maybe govt soch rahi hai ki semi High speed trains Indian railways hi chalaye aur seperate body ki zaroorat nahi hai. Future of Indian railways speed 180+ hona hai to why create a new isolated structure.

      @@mummy5490 We cannot proceed like china. They have more money and the government can do whatever they can without any worries and concern for people. Also, they do not show the world truth. Recently I read somewhere that many Chinese bullet trains stations have been closed due to negligible ridership. Bullet trains are not feasible for a 150km kind of route. 1 option is rrts like Delhi Meerut, but the project is fully under states, i.e Delhi and UP. If you want the centre to be involved, the most cost effective and practical route is expansion of Indian railways. My personal thought is that we create a new railway route, a Greenfield route with semi high speed tracks and other semi high speed setups.

    K-rail is a good project becouse people livingin Kerala linearly 4.5 crore people. One side is Western gards mountain 🏔️ and ather side is sea ⛵🌊, thikely densely populated area, people are can you cappuble taking costsod ticket ,- High income people living,(vanthbarath all services 125 % occupancy only in this root)all facters are good.

    Government should standardized track gauge, signalling system etc and let allow state government and also private companies to build high speed railway. Nhrcl alone will take very long time to connect whole India with High speed rail, in 508 km Mumbai ahemdabad they have taken 15 years to build whole India will take them to 100 years

    For Pune Nasik semi high speed rail, the land procurement is slowed down because route is realigned to bypass security sensative areas and reduce tunnels. It now included Shirdi. Recently loan is sanctioned and state govt has also approved funds to start work. Central govt yet to clear the project fully and pass on their share.
    Ovwrall I notice the project is costly and MH is mulling control over infrastructures via expressways, airports and now this rail line. Creating parallel power center. But I always wondered and could be same though with central think tank that when you have Vande Bharat train capable to run at 200kmph and existing tracks can be upgraded to reach 180 kmph after investing fraction of the new rail line, cost why so much spend?

    Holy Pune - Nashik was only 234.60km with 24 stations! That’s so stupid that’s a station every 10km the train wouldn’t ever reach high speeds before it has to stop at another station. 7-10 stations are good enough for such small route. High speed is for connecting long routes in short time.

      @@jaguarunleashed4935 honestly even that seems a little high, if you go none stop at 100kmph you’d complete 10km in 10 mins. Give or take this train could get to a station every 15mins. That’s not smart at all they should’ve really thought this through and only had few stations. Every 25-30km is fine I’d say the longer the better ofc.

      The only thing I can think of is running variable speed services like Japan does. The fastest express service is top priority and only stops at 4-5 important stops, while the slower service stops at every station. Even then, I've station every 10 km is too close.

    hey guys do we really need bullet train on non-rich cities ? as a rail fan why don't we just build fast tracks as we already have developed our semi-highspeed train sets that can achieve higher avg. speed as avg. speed is important than top speed like for Mumbai - Nagpur section instead of High-prised bullet trains sets and there tracks we build new strait tracks that can handle 250 km/h speed...so that we can save our money...as railway is always in negative earnings....(don't call me anti national though)

      Yes we need bullet train connecting all states because in future our GDP will increase so does income of people and bullet train will increase connectivity.
      When china builded his first bullet train they also has around 4 trillion GDP.
      So it's perfect time to start building it all over India.
      If vande bharat can run at 95% + occupancy I am sure bullet train will also run at almost full occupancy.

    I will say GOI must focus only on the Maglev train instead of HSRL because of technology as Maglev is far better then HSRL for longer time

    But after gaining experience NHSRCL should allow to make the bullet train projects on state level obviously with some rule and regulations from which we can see a big change of transportation system in small span of time. Also if multiple projects are made at the same time NHSRCL can gain experience from all the other projects and can make it more efficient. As we have seen each city started with there own metro lines but later on Delhi model was successful so they started making it worldwide.

      kerala does not have any labourers. Most of the labourers in Kerala are north Indians. (Based on Kerala Govt stats approx 5 million). The state will stop without them. The state has the lowest population growth and in a few years will be below replacement level

    Can you elaborate and make a video on what are the possibility of run bullet train like train set on our existing broad gauge track (in one word bullet train on BG)
    As Unigauge is nearing its 100%completion and we are already doubling tripling and quadrupling our existing board gauge track. if possible it will be best use and utilize of the BG track.( we already getting smooth end to end travel by Uni-gauging and through successful completion of electrification & doubling in the recent years)
    Or what are the obstacles there.
    Or what necessary expertize are required to increase 350+ kmph speed (or even we can touch 400+) for Vande Bharat metro, Vande Bharat sleeper. ( VB is proved successful platform and hope VB metro & VB sleeper will be more successful as first one will be best for setting small distance travel & second one will be best for smooth long distance travel)

      because the monetary guarantee comes from Central govt in case of Fail .. And believe me almost every transport in our country runs in losses .. Indian rail is biggest example other than freight everything runs on losses.. Indian railway will collapse within days if states try to run them

      @@erwinrommel9137 it's depends on research and redesigning broad gauge didn't use for high speed due to more consuming of power input, recreation of high speed tolerance tracks everything needs new start but standard gauge already matured technical wise also manufacturing in large amount which reduce cost of it reason of rising standard gauge but indian Railways need broad gauge for high capacity transport🚇🚍🚋

      ​@@sonukumarprasad4615 those are HSR on legacy broad guage lines that u r talking about which some countries like spain, russia, uzbekistan etc have. most countries have HSR on SG . neither sleeper trains nor goods trains wud be there on BG HSR line here so its a time waste to even discuss those things. even if goods are transported they might well do on the SG tracks if at all.

    we marathis and south indians should be united against these partiality by central govt the development is only going on in North India we are not against that we just demand our rights example:- The RRTS train central govt can build it in Maharashtra between mumbai-pune mumbai-nashik pune-nashik the estimated daily ridership is 1 lakh people just see now but no central government only wants to develop North not south and Maharashtra the Telangana govt has proposed it butcentral is not giving approval same thing in Maharashtra govt changed its plan in previous they decided to make high speed between pune-nashik but now they decided to build semihigh speed as per the suggestions by central govt but still now after the 1.8 years happened to this but not approval yet!!!

    Krail as concept was good.
    But standard gauge - 200 kmph combination is no good.
    Krail said using standard gauge will cost less since less land needed, expertise, rolling stock is readily available for it and will integrate with rest of nation's HSRs like MAHSR.
    But then why choose 200 kmph as the standard. Different standards means trains from other section can't efficiently run in Krail
    If they really wan't to save money by building 200kmph. I think broad gauge track parallel to existing IR track with grade separation and less curve will be much better. Everything will be made locally. IR gets experience to build Semi HSRs. Can use some existing stations. Current Vande bharath and new 250kmph ones can run there at it's full potential.Huge money can be saved by avoiding foreign contractors.
    I think this will be optimal as Kerala is densely populated and stations are closer. So 300+ kmph cannot be achieved between stations.
