@@moonstar8084@moonstar8084 Anyone that will lower taxes, remove red tape for business, make pro-business policies, and reduce import and export duties, especially for the industry. I am okay with it if there is a high duty for direct purchases like Aliexpress, etc. But for businesses buying it, taxes should be low. And don't change rules every budget so we can at least plan how to work with the rules.

Domestication of chip production is NOT about personal electronics, it's about the stuff needed to run water and power systems, logistics and financial infrastructure, defence production etc.

where it is coming up, who is executing it, how many people are involved, what is the source of funds, who is investing under what conditions, what is the role of Indian government in this, what is the role of state government, what factors decided the location, etc

PLI scheme nearly saare sector mai hit ho gyi hai
and har jagah assembling and manufacturing start ho gyi hai
PLI scheme was brought in 2020 to give subsidy to manufacturing companies and 190000 crore was supposed to be spent by 2026 however till now 2024 only 6500 cr is sanctioned and most of these money went to companies that mostly do assembly and import more parts from china. India also decreased its import tarrifs on mobile parts imports last year hence mobile parts imports increased from China. And in this semicon plant India is investting almost 70% of the total cost and micron is putting around 30%(approx)
