Jio 999 plan flaws: 1) headache to assign data to each child member every month. Unlike Airtel, all data is not seamlessly shared. ie. Since it's family... All should be able to use the data. 2) data assigned to child members lapse every month if not consumed. This is ridiculous. Only data of primary number is carried forward. 3) you can assign data for a maximum 5 times a monthly cycle to a child member. So assign sufficiently 4) Every child member has a separate Bill cycle date. There should have been a single bill cycle for all 4 numbers 5) the data assigned post start of the new bill cycle does not work unless the handset has a restart.
Bro,Are Amazon Membership and Netflix membership available with Jio postpaid renewable within plans?
Because I used Airtel postpaid connection earlier which claimed Amazon prime and Netflix membership but only given for a year and 3 months respectively with the plan and they would renew it with additional bill.
Means not free for lifetime.
Amazon Prime is available for first year, whilst Netflix & Disney hotstar is for lifetime.

I'm from jaipur, I had jio for about 2 years.. the speed which I was getting was 30KB-100KB all day long. I was literally frustrated with this. Only time I was getting speeds in Mb's was in the nights at 2am to 6am. I talked so many times to customer care , but I was being told that there are too many people using the internet at the moment. Or we're trying to improve.. now finally I switched to VI , and I'm realyy happy getting speed in Mb's..
And for jio , all I can say is, JKMKB

Hi bro I'm also a sindhi from Lucknow. Jio ki speed ekdum stable nhi hai ab. Max 5-6Mbps deta hai woh bhi kabhi kabhi. Aur kabhi kabhi toh 500Kbps tak gir jaata hai. 2 saal pehle tak kafi accha tha. Maybe due to increase in customer base, their speeds have reduced.

I have Jlo postpaid 599 plan. I live in Sector 54, Gurgaon. Till recently I was getting download speed of only sbout 5mbps but it has recently gone up to 35mbps! Netmonster shows that carrier aggregation has started happening. Also, I have Airtel postpaid family plan but there the download speed is at best only 15mbps. In some parts of Gurgson I find Jio mobile Internet speed is as high as 75mbps!
Before, 2017 speed: 13.4 Mbps
Now 2020 speed: 2.3 mbps

Jio is fine for casual user. Internet speeds are around 4mbps to 8 Mbps anywhere. Mmo Games might have some lag but anyway fibre solves that issue. Meanwhile for airtel, the speed may vary heavily based on location from 2mbps to 20 mbps. VI is the worst network where I don't get 4g network anytime. Most of my friends set it to 3g by default otherwise it won't work. I can't talk for vodafone but have been using idea for years now. Even after it became VI the internet experience is the same.

Thanks for the video. One correction. Annual Netflix plan is Rs199 x 12 x 4 = Rs 9552. In the video you had calculated only for 1 user's annual plan which i think should be calculated for 4 people assuming in Jio Family plan, Netflix is given for all 4 members.
Only for prime member will get Netflix not for all the connected Sims...

No fibre connection in my area. Jio will launch fibre in January next year according to Jio store officials.

Any postpaid looks economical... But, that's the only benift what postpaid offers.. But if you face problem of ghost billing like me( faced that issue in some other networks, they'd charged me for the international calls that I didn't commit, charged for sms that I didn't sent...).. even if you know they are wrong, still you have to pay for it..It'll give you the feeling of hell..
Any prepaid gives flexibility, be it porting or, pay as you go facilities... different users have different needs, so, in prepaid we can choose our plans accordingly...
Thus to me for prepaid I will give big thumbs up and for postpaid a big thumbs down.. I don't want economical benifit, what I want is peace of mind...
In my area, jio gives 10-15Mbps till few months back, stop recharging the connection since they have introduced IUC..rarely use that connection these days..
On the contrary, getting much better service from airtel prepaid, a little bit costlier than jio prepared.. but no IUC, better connectivity ( day time :40 - 50 Mbps, Night time : 80-100 Mbps and highest speed achieved :110 Mbps)

When I booked online from Jio app, it shows coming to your area soon. After this a message from Jio has came , Amit chandel Jio fiber. To setup Jio fiber connection, I have to call them. I have called them and they said Jio fiber is available in my area. But how? Why Jio people deny it that there is no connection in my area. And Airtel is also says, Airtel X stream fiber is not available in my area . Please help
