I don’t even know what this means but I feel compelled to uplike it.
I don't know if anyone else mentioned this yet, but this film was made during a big writers strike around 2008.
So Kristen is not even wrong saying that this movie did a bunch of nothing, because they started filming without a script, and made it up a long the way. There's more to it than that, but that's the main reason this film feels so weird and doesn't achieve much in its runtime.

Autobots FOCUS!
Easiest way to tell who's who is that the good guys have blue eyes, the bad Decepticons have red eyes.
Well, you know, except for the ones with green eyes, or yellow, or orange, or purple. Or when an Autobot has red eyes or a Decepticon has blue eyes.
And in the case of this film Wheelie the Decepticon has red eyes, but Megan Fox burns one of his eyes and it turns blue, then he switches to being an Autobot, lol.
@@ChrisDogg2k6 I didn't want to make it too technical or more complicated for the girls. I was talking about the usual rule of thumb.
@@esclad also the human faced Autobots and the alien faced Decepticons.
Or even easier way to tell is that the good guys are colored & the bad guys are all the same grey color
Decepticons also tend to be darker, spikier and less human looking.
Transformers and Linkin Park songs in the end are classics

Seeing Jetfire in this was such an awesome moment for me as a kid, he was one of my favorite characters in the animated series
Completely agree, I remember going into this movie in the cinema and Jetfire making an appearance being one of the two things I was hoping for.
I grew up watching Armada/Energon/Cybertron with him as Primes #2 and with Jazz dead I thought there was a decent chance of him making an appearance.

When we were kids, the transforming noises were too difficult to replicate with our inadequate human vocals. Two common replacements were used: one was just the sound “ch” in repetition at varying speeds and one was just to make a bunch of fart noises. Thanks for the reaction!

@@Ronnie-cr7nh did you miss the part where Optimus fought four or five dudes and was dominating them. He only died because he was surprise attacked. He was even clapping both the Fallen, Starscream, and Megatron.
@@emmanuelesparzacazares190 yeah that's the reason this fight is greatest because in this fight, freaking Megatron is here with 2 well known Decepticons and Optimus was pretty banged up but still he got back up and dominated them, and we all can agree that if it wasn't for the surprise attack, Optimus would've folded decepticons right then and there...
This was created during the Writer Strike, so that was its biggest downfall.
33:25 actually, she was 1 of 3 in this movie. There were 3 motorcycles in the beginning of the movie and they are known as the Arcee sisters. Acree was a girl transformer in the animated series but in this movie they made her into triplets.

I think this is my personal favorite from the franchise I really love the chemistry Shia and Megan have, and the effects still hold up I think I’ve watched this one more than any of the other movies.

2:04 the voice of Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) chose the voice of Optimus by thinking of his brother who was an officer in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and did an impression of his authoritative voice. 38:55 in the complete opposite with Shia LeBoeuf. I can’t stand his screaming when things happen.
I don't mind it, I think he sounds funny but is also showing exactly how someone would react given the situation.

The editor definitely had a good time editing this video.
Yeeeeh going forward, don't expect the story telling to be much better (or very consistent) - these movies' strengths are the action scenes and very cool moments, but storytelling remains bad throughout. I really wish Bay had invested some time in some good storytelling techniques instead of emphasizing the spectacle and "awesomeness". If you watch the movies and fastforward the "fluff" scenes which don't affect plot, they're way better to watch. I did that with Age of Extinction and it was so much better.
