  • Finally giving my wife what she has been asking for -- an electrical heated towel warmer. This particular one is 145 watts. We'll take you through the entire installation including hardwiring the rack to an electrical outlet.

Everything but the electrical connections were clearly explained. The electrical connection without an accessible electrical junction box is not code compliant of safe.

We are obsessed with John Bull in our house. Hilarious. “In case you have to grab a towel quickly” 😂😂😂

My friends this is not to code, you need a junction box there to protect the wires and your home incase of a fire. You cant just stuff cables into a wall and hide them. Mice, rats or just simple heat can cause that to spark and the insulation is perfect for spreading flames.

Question: why didn’t you just put an outlet in the bathroom?

That was an option too, but I like the clean, hidden cord look.

you should have pulled pwr from the outlet and ran it to a junction box and then to a switch and from your switch to to your towel rack so that you can kill it when you need to. I do not think having the towel rack on full time is safe. Please re-do this, you created such a hazard anything that provides heat needs to be in a gfci to protect the line.
