The temp control is to course, you dont have a computer monitor showing the level of heat like in this video. There should be a number from like 1 to 10, or a led level indicator show Cool or Hot

Hi, thank you for your comment, the heat level is indicated by red flashing light. A quick flashing light indicates the current power/temperature setting is at the lowest setting. The heated towel rack can either be hard wired where the wiring is hidden in the wall or it can be connected to a visible electrical outlet with an optional plug-in kit

Does heat the room better than a panel

Our heated towel rails are not designed to heat the bathroom. There is one major difference between a bathroom radiator from Europe and a heated towel rail. It is the amount of electricity they use.
The average heated towel rail is around 60 - 180 Watts, whereas a bathroom radiator would be 500 - 800 Watts. So, while a European radiator will be able to warm a bathroom, a heated towel rail with the fractional power consumption is only designed to dry your towel.

Seriously it is for towels!!!!!; I always avoided putting towels on it because I thought it was a heater and putting a towel on would start a fire!!! Sigh
