This is a great video. Very easy to follow and understand. However, in squaring off the spiral, if you want to take it to 60 stitches for that round, you need to put 4 stitches in each corner or you only end up with 54 stitches. And it works better to square the corners, with or without a chain space for the corner. Just letting you know what I found after trying thus. I do love the video otherwise.
ok so the tutorial is great and helped me a lot (made some potholders and coasters!) but your cat coming in at 32:00 and just being like "yes thanks, I'll take this" was my highlight here :DD
I’m a long time crocheter; I also teach. The algorithm chose this video for me. Not too bad. I love spirals! Great for heels in socks, and for using up ends to make dishcloths, cozies for bowls and mason jars. Just remember, if you want to use them in the microwave, they need to be Natural Fiber ends, not acrylic, or poly anything. These will melt. Have fun crocheting! ❤
Hi friends! This is a big video but the technique itself is simplified and really easy to do so I hope you'll give this a try. I worked 4 rounds for each tutorial but you can make your spirals as big or as small as you like. Same with squaring them off. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments. xx
Thank you, thank you :-). I tried other tutorials and in the end I tossed the mess to the side and swore to never try a spiral again. Then I found your video. And now I have it :-) :-).

Good evening Roz . Ive done a spiral with three colours but never four . I will definately give it a try . I also turned circles into squares and loved it , so i know i will love this lesson too . Have a great evening .
This is such a fun project. I love the corner idea.😍 I have made spirals before but never even thought to give them corners. Also, I am a huge marker fan. Every project I make, I use a marker(s). That way, there is never any guessing. Great video, Roz. 💖
Exactly- it saves on all the guessing. 😀🙌🏻 Only issue was my stitch markers were not appropriate for this project - they kept wanting to slip out … but I was too lazy to grab the ones that clip closed 😆💕
This is mesmerizing to watch. I'm on my fifth watch, and finally feeling confident to try it. I'm sure it'll be as easy as you make it look!! I hope you had/ARE having a great time in Italy!!❤
