@@masterbaits1740 Fantastic video, beautiful fish amazing first salmon on the fly, I was about to say the same thing about the reel , also if you can never hold the rod and line in the middle of the rod, use the handle as much as possible. When you catch the middle of the rod you half the flex on the rod and double the pressure if the fish runs he cant take line, with a fish on, a good run and you either lose the fish or snap the rod.
