Interesting video, Tudor. For street shooting I use the Olympus E-M10iv with 17mm/f1.8 (34 equiv.) so you have both auto focus and manual clutch for zone focus at around f5.6. I really don't think it gets better than that, so inconspicuous and heaps of keepers.
For those of us that can't afford the manual voltlanger 27mm another very good cheap lens in the 7artisan 25mm manual Very compact and lightweight
Voitlander 40 1.2 was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. Second to switching to Sony 😂
X-T5 with 23mm F2 Is better in every way except compactness compared to X100V.
It really is the ideal street photography setup.

Hi Tudor, I agree with beginners using wider lenses. However, as we grow in our skills, to me personally I am able to work with 50mm as well with no problem. I had a bad copy of the 18mm f/2 Fuji lens, unfortunately, but now I use the 27mm and the 33mm f/1.4. These are my standby lenses for street. To be honest though, I prefer using now Panasonic GX9 and the 15mm 1.7. Small, compact, wide angle... no one pays any attention to me AND I take advantage too of the touch to shoot function when in crowded places! I do want to pick up the 23mm Fuji lens though.

Hi Tudor - Weird question. Have you had any exif data issues with the Ultron 27mm? I just got the ultron and an X-T50, and almost all my image exif data says the photo was at f/22, when I'm definitely not shooting at f/22. The aperture DOES register and display correctly when taking the photos (so I suspect it's an X-T50 issue, and not a Voigtlander issue). Thanks!

Your video is great. Your selection of lenses re horrible FOR ME. i can understand, and respect, your way of shooting. Period. But, for me the ideal focal length is , of course, the 50mm. For everything! One camera, one lens. First of all, all that pics you show on your great video, in my country re illegal (if i dare to publish without permission!). That kind of shooting is , for me , a snapshot. Something without thinking what you re doing. For me, photogrphy is previsualization. I like to direct my pics, the cinema mood, the BOKEH!!!, the mystery, the geometry, the discipline of the picture. I want to make a picture that looks like a paint. For me, taking shots of faces full of distortion, says nothing. For me, wide angles simply do not exist. 50mm for me and for ever (with 85mm the close second!). With every respect...
