Great job! I always wonder if a thin layer of new cement over old cement like that would crack over time if it's in a high traffic area? Looking for ideas to do something like this for our patio.
Not if the concrete below has been fully washed and there are no cracks in the bottom concrete.

Self-leveling underlayment it self I don't think so, that why i using 2 coats of epoxy, this staff people using for garage floor

dememe R. S. Parece que usaron un nivelador de concreto y luego usaron un producto que se llama Rock Solid Shield que se usa para protejas el concreto. Es una epoxy con pintura y se ve muy bien siempre y cuando preparan el concreto de acuerdo de los instrucciones

This video was so helpful and I appreciate all the links that you provided. I currently have a commercial space and it's a mix of concrete and horrible white tiles that haven't been white for years. Would it be possible to use this product over the tile?
On my opinion problem is gloss ceramic surface. You have to send the tile to remove that surface or remove the tile.

Before you did the first coat of concrete was there any prep involved? Like, washing the floor/concrete?
I did wash concrete with brush and soap to clean from dust, I know a lot of people will say you have to rent send machine and do a lot preparation work - may be, depends of condition of your floor.

It's a concrete I don't know where you can use it at the house maybe at basement. it looks like garage floor because I use material for garage floor and they have 2 colors grey and brown or clear and chips

Bruh that style is ancient my grandparents how build in 40 years ago has that mosaic concrete flooring after 20years it high maintenance and the floor will lose its beauty in 8 years
Did you see that floor before? 20 years? For my basement it is gift. 40 years in floor industry it is a lot, we just using different materials.

Cleaning with soap and a brush is not how you prep concrete for any coating, please do not follow these steps for prep work or application. I have had to re-do a lot of these floors just like this because they were not done correctly.
Rustoleum says to use degreaser then etch.

@@rcallain2001Grinding the surface with a diamond cup wheel and shop vac or a Shot blaster and vac are your best options, degreaser and muratic acid are ok,, 9 seconds into the video some text came up and said use soap and brush to prep.
