I gave up on trying for friends. I am the type of guy who would wake up at 2am to help you. Tired of making friends who only want help and do nothing in return. I only get alone with women for the most part. My last friend was a guy who lived next to me. For about a year we would go to breakfast and we talked about our childhood and we grew up the same but had no other things in common. He started to cancel last minute with me and at a neighbors party I met his new friend who I was told was his best friend. His wife actually apologized to me about it. I really tried so hard. I never said anything rude or gave any negative opinion. I just want to have friends and give them a hug. I would love to have a lady just to chat to and hug for comfort.

When i was small i used to have friends with whome i enjoyed my childhood. I didn't had a home we had to move to another place and i Lost my friends i always remember them but cannot connect with them. Now i have realized that being lonely is the most difficult pain. Its been 9 years i cannot find a friend. I always try to be good with them but i end up being a bad person even though i wanted good for everyone. My loneliness hurts me very much. My eyes are filled in tears when a see children playing with a bunch of other children. Friends can help relieve stress and protect you from the bullies.
Finding friends as you grow older is a hit or miss thing. That's why so many parents encourage kids and young teens to make friends in school because some of those guys will go to the same middle school, high school, and possibly college. Those will be your life long friends. Also, being young means that everyone is still innocent and playful. If you find a friend in college, and realize they're the party/concert type of person, and you're not, they're not gonna invite you to events or even want to talk to you. But, if you find friends in elementary school or middle school, everyone is on the same plane field.
Finding friends in college can be tricky and confusing at times, especially when THEY already have established their own social group, and you just feel like you're just a random outcast to them. Sure, joining clubs is cool, but at the same time it's harder if you can't find time to spend time with them AT ALL. Or, you're being too pushy and awkward and they start to consider that you're hitting on them. IN THE END THEY JUST GO OUT AND CONTINUE TO DO THEIR OWN THINGS WITH THEIR FRIENDS AND YOU'RE LEFT IN THE DUST.
As an adult, everybody in the past you knew are now doing their own things (jobs, family, moved away, etc) and you're basically left with little to no friends. Education is done, so clubs are no more technically. The only place to find new friends is the bar basically, and it's also a hit or miss. Coworkers can be a a good place to find friends, but at the same time, who knows if they even consider you as a friend or just a coworker.

I had more friends but during quarantine everything’s just died down. My two closest friend, one has moved and the other calls me her closest friend and yet she proceeds to show me all the stuff she does with her discord friends and not talk about anything else anymore. Our conversation’s aren’t as great anymore when she always just wants to talk about her fantastic friends and all the fun stuff they do together and then shove it in my face non-stop.

Wow... I like how you don't mind being alone. I would love to be at this level... I spent my whole childhood without friends. Whole elementary school. I didn't give a fck about that... You didn’t have to try to talk about things that interested them- they would be interested in anything you wanted to talk about. 6 years ago I used to be so popular in school for about 3 years
I loved everyone and one day a friend started talking to me and wanted to be my friend she was really funny and she always makes me feel so special and make all her best to be friends
I loved her so muchh then we became bffs ( then I noticed no one loves her)
She always wanted me to stay with her away from all my friends
She started talking on them and made me hate them
She was so jealous from me and always wanted to be like me or better
She made her best to let my friends love her and I *was* so proud to have such a funny best friend and they loved her more then me
Then she became friend with a girl who became popular by telling her all her secrets and by making her feel so special and then started making more and more frnds and became popular too by telling *everyone* my secrets and my crush name ( My secrets made her haha ) she talked alot on me n on the stupid pics that I’ve sent it to her before | a lot of my school friends started hating on me n being mean
She was so mean with me and 90 % of my school frnds was in love with her character her style her secrets n every single thing in it

Okay so let’s continue, she started crying soo hard and talked to me on wp vc she said to me sorry thousand of times and told my 3 besties to give her a last chance , her mom called me to retalk to her kid and to become friends again
After 1 week I talked to her and told her I will be your friend only if she swears to me to not repeat all what happened
To say to the guy I haven’t loved him
And finally to say to the girls of the other school that *she was so confused and it was a small fight between us, this girl is one of the best person I’ve ever met *
She said I’m going to do it and started jumping of happiness...

5 months later she made some new losers friends who were so mean to everyone and no one see them 😂 they were super confident with themselves ( everyone was talking on them cause they were likee not stupid but insane and ugly n...)

Here's a good tip for getting friends that I've used all the time,
It might take some time, sometimes
But it's worked for me...
Step 1) Be kind to the people around you,
most people don't want to hang out with someone who threatens others
Step 2) Be yourself!
I know this is obvious, but friendships probably won't stand for long if you're hiding your true self
Step 3) open up a pack of gum in class,
hah I've never tried this one but people usually go crazy for gum

In a toxic friendship you dont feel that support or compassion. You feel minimized when they brush off your problems or ignored outright if they never respond to your messages or requests for help in short, they arent there for you when you need them the most
Find someone who you hate and get to know them, it will help you in the long run. Especially if you only hate them for something they did when you met.
