Every dog needs good recall even if it’s a livestock guardian dog that’s one thing every dog should have because it keeps them safe so work on her recall and get her to where she comes when called because they’ll keep her safe and keep her from getting attacked if she was to get out again
Keep a leash there at the barn in case you need it while you're out there...... Would be nice if you got Cora to come when called stop when told to stop just basic commands for her own safety....
From what I understand anatolian shepards do not take commands like most dogs they respond only when they want to. They are mote independent than most dogs. Kinda like a cat in that regard.
Me too I said when he was still a 10 week old puppy start small but start soon! And I gave advice on recall training later it scares the crap out of me when I see dogs that ignore calls I've seen it turn deadly! 😢
Yes it does save life’s but LSGD r very independent thinkers. Much more than an average dog. It’s what makes them good at guarding without supervision telling them what to do. They r loaners in that regard and there for independent thinkers. Makes them not be as good at commands as other breeds. Something maybe u can understand a little more knowing there nature to work alone in the night. Not because someone is out there telling them what to do but because it’s there instinct to do guarding on their own.

Rose of Sharon shrubs are prolific and propegate very well every year on their own, so just be careful how many you plant on your own. We have over 25+ & counting, and only 5 were planted by us!

Speaking about your memory next time you are filling up a water tank turn on a timer on your watch and the beep will remind you to go turn off the water so it doesn't overflow . FYI, I used to have a male dog who loved eating theses flowers .. In most cases, hibiscus is non-toxic for pets, but the Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) is a type of hibiscus that can be harmful to your furry friend. If a dog ingests a significant amount of this hibiscus' flower, they can experience nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting.
In fact, you need to work on recall with all of your dogs not just her if you get them to the point that they’ll come when called you’ve accomplished it. The thing with training dogs is you have to be repetitive when training you can’t just do it once and expect the dog to learn it. You have to do it over and over again until they get it and then they’ll eventually get it and they’ll come when called
@@lizard4108 these folks spend a lot of time around their dogs so they have the time to properly train these dogs. They just haven’t really worked on it which they need to because that would keep their dogs safe. Every dog needs to learn recall whether it’s a pet dog or any dog like a livestock guardian dog, recall is what keeps animals safe, especially dogs whether they’re working or just pets if they really cared about their dogs like they say they do. They would work with them on recall and they only have four that’s not that many plus the only one they really need to work with it seems like is Cora

Went to a furniture store last year. Small tree in parking lot had a swarm. Store manager called a beekeeper. Swarm was utilized and was awesome to see.
My heart dropped when Kora got out, I knew you said in previous videos she doesn’t like Mojo and him being older, she could have seriously hurt him, and the thought of that happening is very upsetting. I’m definitely not going to laugh at you for this mistake, just be grateful nothing bad came from it.
Kora would not have hurt Mojo very much, his fur is too think, she might have got his legs, but that's all. Mojo could have hurt her badly, with his weight and height. It is a blessing that they didn't get together.
I love to watch bee keepers. Recently I had a swam and called a bee keeper and he was at my house in a few minutes. Saw the hive figured what he needed went home and then returned and took the hive. The queen was there. Yes I would love to buy you guys honey. Please let us know.
