Which part of the lake were you guys on?
Whole lake! We fished the main basin and a bit of the side while filming this video!
Did you guys use the live bait at the shop there?
usually in the summer we like to toss hard baits for a more exciting hook up feel, but during the winter months we do buy our live bait from there store!!

I fish and I live 5 min away from island lake hope too go fishing their soon
awesome! in previous years island lake has been a very pleasant spot to fish for us and the boys.
Pretty sure island lake is a no gas engine lake did you guys have your gas outboard on the boat and if so did the park say anything
it is indeed a non-gas lake we just trim our motor up and use the electric bow mount which is perfect because the lake is fairly small!
how do you guys avoid the weeds? last time i went i kept getting weeds on my lure
use a jig to avoid weeds.

@@wc4572 jig fishing, not jig head. i used jig fishing and dropped it to the heaviest weed ever and never get stuck

Just went here 2 days ago on my kayak caught 5 pike in 3 hours
