- On this new episode of 𝘼𝙭𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙈𝙧. 𝙎𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙙 we revisited our local Sam Ash music store in Madison, TN for one last time in hopes of finding some store branding that we can display in the Masters of Shred 𝙎𝙃𝙍𝙀𝘿 𝘿𝙀𝙉 and what we we found was far greater . . . 🤯🎸
With many of their higher end instruments long gone there was still suprisingly a good amount of discounted gear that is definitely worth a look!

The guitar discounts were pretty weak at this point, but the 50% amp deals were good.
Yeah, I only saw one or two guitars that perked my interest but for the most part the amps and furnishing were the best deals 😬👍🎸 Also those 3 gold & paisley Gretsch penguins that I liked a few weeks back were longgggg gone 🥴
Today I scored big time at Sam Ash in Westminster:
Brand new Boss SDE 3000 EVH dual digital delay pedal module unit (emulating Eddie Van Halen’s wet dry wet rig spatial delays setup) that retails for $600 = down to $180!
70% off!
$180: the going price for a lesser spec Boss compact pedal - & Cheaper than a Strymon pedal!
I bought all my Sam Ash closeout deals from their ads on Facebook. I got the Fender Custom Shop and Les Paul Deluxe for $49 ea. I am just waiting for them to clear customs from China, but for the life of me, I can't see why they routed them from the US through China. Lol.
Looks like they sold the semi-hollow body Gibson that I had my eye on a couple of weeks ago. I wonder how much that went for. 🤷♂️
I have been in this location many times. Still hard to believe such a big part of my life is going away.
i saw Randy Rhoads at Brian Guitars "Sam Ash" around 83.... sad to see them go
Sam Ash was bought by a Mexican company. They will still close the stores, but will be totally online.
No kidding?! I didn’t hear about that! I’d love to see Sam Ash keep their physical locations open but I’m not complaining if their legacy can live on online 😲👍🎸🎸
Yes Gonher Music bought it for $15.2 million
This is so sad. I'm from Israel, the first ever Fender I bought was at Sam Ash Manhattan ~10y ago (a 2007 MIM Strat in Sage Green 2nd hand).
So many billionaires in the US, not even one of them is going to save this beautiful place?? Come on!
I would have grabbed that Soldano SLO 30 combo. 👍
Almost makes me wish we had a Sam Ash here so they could open it then close it.
The only side effect worth a shit in modern industry is the ability for normal people to get shit they ordinarily wouldn't have access to from companies dying/merge/etc...if you're building a shop, lab, or studio you can get busline power parts all day long on ebay now for pennies on the dollar and that shit's expensive as fuck but I won't build a space without it now that I can actually get it at some affordability.
Stop chewing that gum! 🙏🏻
I've never been to Sam Ash but for some reason watching this video was kind of sad.
Yeah, Sam Ash was one of the last great music chains where you could find AMAZING deals and they would actually be open to negotiate on used gear unlike Guitar Center😭 I’ve scored a lot of cool pieces their before and it’s definitely the end of an Era with this loss 🥺
Sam …Ashes to Ashes
Going out of business and only 20 to 40% off?? No wonder they went under. That stuff should be at 80% off to get it out the doors
Dude lose the chewing gum....
Yeah, sadly the microphone that I was using is SUPER response. I freaked when I heard the chewing while editing. You can never hear it on my other vids but then again this is the first time I’ve used this particular mic. 🥴🎸🎸
