DCUO was released in 2011 and was also ahead of its time I played it for 6 years and its still alive today, also the devs are working on a new Marvel MMO now
This game was ahead of its time, the dungeons were great , the amount of teamwork it required to defeat a boss ( each class had its own role, a healer was a critical choice when you go for an epic dungeon) , the zones were fairly big considering the game is old , the customization was top notch , the costumes were beautiful and you could transform any wearpon/armor inside the game into a costume and you could color it , each weapon has its own glow and animation color when it goes above +8 ,there was also a variety of class choice , you could even make a tank class with healing abilities , you could play as a mage with a sheild and a mace, hybrid classes were fun to play , it was hard to predict what the opponent has up his sleeve when it comes to 1v1, sadly it didn't have any pvp except for few zones like Mt Eda or the arena , the arena rank system was also nice ,for example when you win 3 games in a row you get a bronze star next to your name and the more you rank up you get more stars until you reach 3 bronze stars , the next rank is a silver star and then two stars and then 3 silver stars and so on, seing people with these stars next to their names was so badass, there was also a special crafting system for arena players , the more you play arena matches , you get some special items that allows you to craft some really good pvp gear , if they remake the consept of the game with a new engine and graphics and add a little bit of sailing and other systems that other mmo games has , it will b one of the top MMOs and the armors in this game looked even better , sometimes a piece of armor looks better than a cashsop costume Here's an Image of my character back then : imgur.com/dGd5pac
To this day it is still one of my favorite MMOs, it lacked content but it did good with what it had. I still pride myself to this day on being able to 1v1 dungeon final boss because I memorized all its mechanics and am able to dodge almost all attacks and heal whatever damage I take when not dodged.
It reminds me a little bit of Perfect World. However, the interface in this game is even worse despite coming out 7 years afterwards. If they make the interface more slick it would have been a lot nicer to the eye
I was a game designer working on this game. I worked on quests and bossmonsters AI, PVP, cooking, riding, sounds and instruments. There were a number of problems, and they didn't solve this. Your video reminds me of memories.Thank you so much for liking RAIDERZ.
I bought the founders pack and ran an all mage guild , some of my best game memories for sure. I stopped playing because irl stuff so never did get to see over that damn wall .
The moment when you learned everything about a boss and solo killed it, it was a tremendous feel of achievement, this is the most rewarding moment of playing raiderz that no other mmo provides.
Its combat is the best ive experienced in any game. One of the endgame bosses you can face solo was so hard, that only a hand full of players was able to kill it. and it was not a question of equipment, it was a question of pure skill. the dungeons were fun aswell and you can cut off different parts of the enemies to exploit weaknesses, weaken abilities or even remove them from the enemy
i freaking love of the combat aspect of this game. it’s classic, no autos, just pure skill and timing. PvP duels was amazing af. I really love the open PvP war area.
This game actually had really the best real action combat system I have ever experienced. In PVP Skill actually matters, no bullsh1t. Really shame this game closed down.
Funny thing, that mount at 11:58 that dude is riding is a 1-for1 recreation of the blue Felblaze Infernal mount from WoW. So definitely a private server specific thing.
RaiderZ was pretty cool ngl. I liked the zones, the feeling of them, the layout, each one of them was unique as well. Crafting was pretty intuitive, each zone had one-two big monsters in the first half of the zone used to make X and Y gear and then the second part of the zone also had 1-2 big monsters which dropped items for better X and Y gear. PvP was also pretty darn cool, it was skill based, it was balanced, it was fair and it wasn't nuke city, you had the chance to fight but it wasn't slow either, you just didn't get oneshot.
Hitting a monster's part to make it drop its weapon or breaking it to use it agaisnt them was truly some Monster Hunter inspired combat. It was amazing. A lot on the grindy side though. A lot of Kill X quests
I'm late to the party, but I look back at RaiderZ with extremely fond memories. I was a former Founder of the game, when Founder Packs were the hot-thing to buy, and it was a blast to play through dungeons with my guildmates. I completely agree, RaiderZ was an MMO that was cut short before it really had a chance to shine. If the developer were to re-release it today, I'm sure there would be a niche playerbase that would love it to death, akin to the relatively small playerbase of Vindictus today.
RaiderZ.. man, so many precious memories playing that. I was so lost when it got shut down out of nowhere.. They only gave us like 1 week prior notice, iirc. Sadly the private servers never really have the same charm as the official game had.
I COMPLETELY forgot about this game. I was watching it at first thinking "Damn I missed out on this?" and as the video went on I started having these memories flash into my mind and I couldn't figure out if I was just being reminded of a different game. After a few minutes I realized that indeed, I did use to play this game and yet somehow I forgot all about it. Now after seeing this, I want to play it again. Man... freaking MAIET. I played GunZ when I was a kid and loved it, and now I remember playing this as a teenager and loving it too, they were two for two. A damn shame they're gone.
I remember playing this game so much, i was there when it were the last seconds of the server shutdown. The most fun thing in my opinion is that every boss was possible to solo it and i always was trying to learn the mechanics to do it. (Actually, sometimes it was impossible to find a party because the low population, and the bosses drops important items in order to craft epic weapons/armor, so i had no choice but it was really fun at any rate)
I am 30 years old and I have played many MMOs in my life and RaiderZ was the best combat experience, you could dodge and block absolutely all attacks, and u could dye too all your costumes/equipment that was another great thing of this game and the guitar...well i loved my paladin, what a shame that the game died in 2015 and I never heard from him again :/
Just a year after TERA, this was my second action based mmo and it was uber fun. But like most of PWE games it went down, still i miss those days 10+ years ago there was a loot of mmos coming almost every year...fun times :)
Probably one of my most played mmo, spent so much time on this. Fondly remember carrying alot of newbies in dungeons so they can farm mats for equipment. Hope it comes back.
That was the best time at MMO I ever had with my friend. Everything was so fresh, new and amazing. Really miss it and sad that the game didn't go as planned.
lmao that blue infernal mount you saw at 11:58 is literally ripped straight out of wow, it's the biting frostshard core you get for the 350 mount achievement
The creaters of this game were so ahead of their time. between Gunz and this they had a great team that knew what the community wanted. I still have the emails from beta testing this from the original release. I wish all the guys that worked at MAIET the best. they really changed how i looked at games. Sad that every great game dev seems to fall by the way side. I realyl hope they come back out today. Im sure they would have a warm welcome.
Some of my best MMORPG memories are in this game. I used to play with some friends and a very friendly guild. Raiderz is dead nowdays, but in the past this game was an unique experience.
Got some very fond memories of the PvP in this game. Thanks Peon for the reaction. Also, that bar party looked dope af. Perfect with the runesxape music editing haha.
i remember trying to remember the name of this game for some years. then one day i bit the bullet, sat down and screened through every mmo name on every mmo site and ctrl+clicked every one of them one by one. 2-3 days gone by and the flow of nostalgia, strong memories of fighting a fat horned frog, being a cleric and deciding where should my last 5-10 points go to either tank or sorceror, amongst other things. spent a few weeks burning through every single private server. this return was less than a year ago. this game is highly underrated and overlooked. great on you for giving it coverage
This game was epic. Teamwork was critical to kill some bosses. It was a really hard game. Every monster was a fight worth doing. But the time when you get the mechanics of a boss and can solo kill it, it was literally the best feeling i had on an online game EVER. Plus the fact you had to farm bosses to make equipment that looked AWESOME and go on with the game was just epic. PD: Thanks to this video i started playing a private server called Revolution Raiderz. it's been running since 2014 so if anyone wants to go. Have fun !
@@NamiWonderful i don't have a lot of detail, there's some people playing but as u know, it's not a well known game and it's a pirate server. So you most likely play alone. The community is friendly and the server is the closest to the oficial rates as you can get. You will have to learn the mechanics to kill the bosses and craft better gear. It's good, like Dark souls in some sense hahah
Impressed that they don't have the EXP gain cranked up to 11. I expected you to be level 30 in 20 min. Combat really does look fun! Was the game just "not WoW" when it came out or something? Looks like a solid mmo by TODAYS standards.
All private servers have only like 2x EXP gain sadly, that is mainly due to there not being enough late game content to last a server for more than half a year to an experienced player. In private servers with help of another player you can get power leveled to max level in a single day by abusing a glitch in instanced dungeons where you or your party member log off to character select screen and log back in again, meanwhile the other one who stays, kicks the logged off player out of the party yet they still show up in same instance dungeon as you and therefor you can aggro the mobs and still take full EXP credit when they are killed. EXP in amount meant for 4 players is given to a single player, you get like 5 levels in two 5 min runs in one dungeon and then move onto the next.
This game was amazing. Some of the later bosses were stupidly hard to solo (ice zone) but were doable. Shame just like everything else pwi touch it dies or gets milked.
@@GamingDualities RaiderZ Revolution (NA), RaiderZ Legend (Canada) and RaiderZ BeastMode (EU) are the private servers. Population from highest to lowest. Also how long they have been around is also from longest to shortest. Revolution has a lot of custom content, it doesn't stay true to what RaiderZ was. BeastMode lacks the most in content and was basically dead on arrival. None of the servers have a PvP community, likely due to all 3 servers having broken PvP thanks to Medals and/or Brunes Equipment which also scared away OG PvP players in official server when level 40 patch released.
@@jonathansoko1085 youre joking right? how can you say "This game was never good" when even damnm peon admitted he wouldve enjoyed it a lot back in the day? you can tell me its buggy, outdated or clunky, but the combat system is unique and multiclassing + bosses was enough to keep you engaged for a while
Raiderz was an magical game to play with friends, as the bosses are no joke first time you fight them, getting with a group and clear dungeons was the most fun I've ever had in a mmo. Raiderz had some P2W aspects to it, but they were minor, as the best gear was all craftable, you would mostly pay for cosmetics and boosts, that had a minor impact on gameplay, but still would grant and advantage. Last year I rejoined the game with some friends and we relieved the whole game start to finish and we had a blast with it. It's combat and crafting is second to none in any MMO I've ever played, and I belive it deserves a remake or remaster of sorts.
This is the biggest throwback ive watched in a while. When this game came out i played it so much. That wolf I Believed was released much later on, you can obtain via PvP was it I think. Oh gawd it was amazing mmorpg, i only stopped because it became too repetitive at the end and by the time i decided to come back, it was discontinued :(
I played this game SO FUCKING MUCH on release... I really miss it ;/ The bosses/dgs are the best part of it to me, i loved wasting a couple of minutes/hours trying to solo some of them ;p
man as a huge Monster hunter fan, this game was really of the closest to a mmo with MH feature release in the west ( together with vindictus), killing boss, learning strat, crafting armor and weapon with the monster part, it was really cool and at that time if you wanted something similar you had to try MHF in japan, or Hunter blade ( delete for obvious copyright infringement)
Have always found myself coming back to this game (on various private servers) over the years because I just find the combat quite unique (your attacks feel like they have real weight to them I guess). There was also another private server called Revolution Raiderz that had new maps beyond the original base game, and a higher level cap if I remember right. Fun times.
So many memories from this game, the pvp system and mechanic was so good, no point and clicking, pure skill Shoutout to my guildmates from ExecutivE Gudlula
Loved that game back in 2012. I am currently playing New World because I thought the combat would be the same as in Raiderz. But Raiderz combat is much better.
It was of my first mmorpg and god damn, the combat system felt SO fluid, almost as fluid as say Genshin Impact (genshin only cares mostly about looks, there was something else about raiderz that also made it feel better) Looking at it back now, I really wish it was re-released but well It does look outdated nowadays. I know the one who got the rights is still working on it (but seems to go suuuper slow) dunno if I'll check it out but it impresses me that even after all these years, some other games that claim to be mmopgs don't even get close to all the stuff you could do in RaiderZ.
Im thinking almost every day about this Game. Music, atmosphere, COMBAT. best Combat ever made in an MMORPG. i still Love it so much.. i hope theyll rerelease it. i know so many people that miss this Game so much. its just iconic.
One thing you didn't notice is that you can actually combine classes (ex: sorcerer + defender) since the use of skills is based on weapons and all classes have overlapping weapon types. To explain further on the unknowns that you bring forward; There is the weapon upgrade system that had you gather materials to attempt an upgrade where failing would lower the tier (but never destroy it if I remember correctly). I haven't touched private servers myself since I get the same feeling as I get from kits in Minecraft servers when looking at their websites. But I have downloaded the original code and set up my personal private server from time to time to play with the old vanilla stuff.
Was my favourite game for as long as it lasted. Still i hop back to a couple private servers for nostalgia .It lacked a ton of things, but the community was really dedicated and it was amazing
The reason why RaiderZ was shut down was that the game security engine was hacked and devs were unable to fix the issues. For instance, a player can solo a whole dungeon that will take 5 players to complete by just equipping and switching their weapons, what this does is that the stats get stacked up when your character is dead. So you have to die than keep equipping and switching your weapons then you get the stat boost as much as many times you like. Players will literally 1 hit the final boss. The goal was to get very rare mats from the end-game bosses that have only a 0.0025% chance of dropping. Another bug that was prominent was the wall hacks that you can basically do without using any 3rd party software. You can just skip to the final boss of the dungeon. And the final thing that wrecked everything was the fake item trade. Players will trade items in the player trade window, the buyer will see the item placed in the trade window but once you confirm the trade, there was no item traded at all, sort of like the item's image was just stuck on the trade window's cell but was actually removed by the seller. And there were lots of bots using speed & teleport hacks, and spamming gold selling sites. RaiderZ was a very challenging game for someone like me that was playing the game from Asia whilst the server is at NA, anticipating the delay from the distance each of my key presses needed to travel in order for the server to respond to that input added more difficulty dodging bosses, especially that during these times, internet speed in our country was just not that fast. It actually took me almost a day just to master the clues of attacks & skills that Viva will be doing in order to dodge them in time. It was very rewarding when you can finally solo run the boss whilst wearing just average grade gears.
I used to play the game before it go shoot down and loved it actually after that i played a few private servers just for the community and the combat it was awesome to see characters in the video that i used to play with. Thanks for the video Peon it really made my day!
I hope we get more people to play, this game ok is outdated but is so fun especially the pvp is the best action i ever play, I'm from legends server and this game is good and a bit different from the older servers, I would recommend to everyone to give a try, BTW if you hive a try get lvl 50 ASAP and try the weekend events "20vs20 or more if people are on" or brune's 3v3 also pve is fun!
This was probably the last mmo I really had fun with. Even though the majority of quests were tedious and linear, The dungeons were fun, even after the tens - hundreds of times I grinded some of them for BiS. Although... the upgrade system made endgame not fun for me. once you get closer to +9 gear when you attempt an enchant your weapon could down grade and each try cost 8-15g and mats you had to grind from said dungeons. So you could spend items and money and come out worse in the end if you got unlucky.
This game needs to be buy to play, for it to get decent players, and a fully balanced cashshop. Along with ESO and BDO, this is Worth buying. I remember back in the days, playing with my best friends, in an Internet Caffe, cuz my PC coud not run the max settings, and getting the entire shop addicted with the game. Creating several parties and dominating the Iceworld PVP arena, how I wish they would re-launch the game officially with or without better graphics. I tried several MMOs until now, and only Raiderz and Blade and Soul hooked me for real. Learning combos, mastering your timing, keypress, and besting bosses felt so good. Nowadays, most games are button mashers. Spam keypress to win. I still remember how rewarding Raiderz was with players that invested the time to learn mechanics, combos and everything. Also, you can customize your skill chains in the game. If you don't like the skill you have to press after using a skill, you can customize the one that shows up, and thus create your own combo, suited for your build. Lost Ark is fun and all, but if I were to pick between Raiderz and it, laugh if u will, I would pick Raiderz. To me, it's better.
Hey mate, nice video, you've done here. I played this game from minute one, and had one of the most intense weeks of gameplay I ever had. This game was incredible. I was one of the strongest PVP-players and tried to farm the best mats possible, so I can confirm RNG was an element of RaiderZ, but my time playing I can't say, that it was extremely P2W, since I've not spent any money on it. All in all, it was the best MMO I've ever played, besides or since WOW classic.
You missed quite a few parts of the game, which you can't experience at this stage of the game. You should play up to lvl 20 !!!. After 15 you get an option of specialization, continue your current weapon tree or master multiple ones (really popular back in the day was priest and 1hand sword which was pvp monster). Appart form that, you can break boss monster parts which give you a chance of specific drop tables, combat buffs, and stagger effects. Also the day and night cycle play a big role, as there are special monsters that spawn during specific in game times. Example in the area where fleetfoot is located, you have minstrel gobby show up around midnight and he strols on the western part of the map under their campsite. Killing him you can get rare materials which craft music instruments which can buff, or heal people and you can actually play songs. Amazing game, and most early game content you can solo if your reflexes are really good (I did this challenge quite often and later on I was doing solo dungeons but you do get to a point where thats not possible unless you are geared better.)
I remember asking my mom to buy me a better pc in 2013 because the dungeons killed my performance back then, but I still enjoyed the game, I was never a hardcore mmo gamer but this was the MMO I'd play everyday. It did so many things right that it really surprised me when it got shutdown
In terms of why the game shut down. If i remember correctly, the main issue wasn't playerbase or its popularity. It was mostly to do with the game's developers who were smaller team couldnt provide enough content fast enough. The game only had levels up till 30 which u could get to with 2 weeks of casual gaming, with them adding 5 more when the game was pretty much dead. Unfortunately for them, at that time Tera was a fully released game but it was pay to play. Tera decided to go free to play one day and the players who were so bored of waiting for new content to release on Raiderz pretty much all switched to Tera and the game became dead and the developers went through financial struggle eventualy ending the game. Sad really cus if they had the team and funding, this game could have been top 3 mmorpg today easily. Besides that the dungeon expereince in this game was something completely different and always kept u on your toes, Great fun. The game is currently bought out by Masangsoft and is being redeveloped. But the progress seems like it will take forever as the updates are like once a year and they havent made any real progress from the updates I have seen.
Technically you could get power leveled to level 30 in half a day, about 12 hours but with help of someone. Then at level 35 days you could do the same, but had to do quests after for levels 31 till 35.
@@jonathansoko1085 They ain't wrong though, the devs of this game made GunZ which was one of best PvP games in those years. RaiderZ would have been far more popular at start if it weren't for TERA. People started to leave the game after noticing how long each content update took and the first big one introducing P2W in PvP, the side of game that was very active.
@@jonathansoko1085 Lol I would like to hear from this so called I have Standards guy what his favourite mmorpg is and why? Most people here giving opinions based on what we expereinced on 2012. No one is claiming if this re-releases again it will be the next big thing. It wont and thats ok but it will definitely havea loyal player base.
Played this during its open beta. Its main attraction is its dungeon, with few mechanic. The funny thing is that healing isnt really needed in dungeon, because failing mechanic will still kill your character.
I missed this game, there was so many fun features other mmorpg didn't have, like dueling inside the town while others can watch, strong boss which is hard to fight alone so having a party is fun. I also remember you can shapeshift by using this single use gem that varies to which form it could transform you, I transformed into this alpha wolf which was a miniboss in the early stage and fought the wolf as a wolf.
I was there with my lvl 40 berserker at the moment of the shutdown, saying goodbye to everyone while tearing was one of the saddest moments of my life till that day..Missing those days...
What to even say. To me this game will probably be "best" mmorpg i've ever played. Saying hundreds, or even thousands of hours might be understatement. Basically lived in this game long period of the time. Through beta to long in the private servers (all of them). Even with all of its flaws. During that was one of the darkest times in my real life, and best of the times in games. All my friends were there, did not have job, or school. So time was not really the issue. Probably not healthy for sure, but it helped me through a lot. I'm finally done with Raiderz, there is just nothing i've not seen or done thousands of times. But never forget the gold memories of the game. It would be actually unfair to compare any other mmorpg to this, nothing comes close. But that is totally fine too, they don't need to. Got more than my fair share of it in its time. Everyone told me new things and were happily to help. When started the game was total noob, and step by step and very long road learned so much. In the end could Solo dungeons and bosses, which at first seemed impossible. Do remember the share unbelief when first time saw even low level players solo whole dungeons and bosses with basically nothing. One shot and they would be dead, and after hour or two they did it. Complete dedication. Then they were like living legends in the game, others speaking about them. "Hey did you hear this one guy did this and that" and some did not even believed "No way you lying dude" haha. Well, until they witnessed it themself's, it is possible huh. Or thought they were cheating lol. Had many names in game myself. Some of them "Dawndeath", "Everfrost", "Spardan", "OrionNight", "FallenOne", "Nightling", and of course last one "Mistheria" hehehe. Also so many different names of others. My first and most loved guild leader "Erl". Never seen so good player before, and so kind. Never forget. Some others "Meinder", "Linhmap", "Dasthan", "Slicey", "Chaodyn" and so so many others. Thank you for the best time!
I enjoyed Raiderz so much when I played it, but I think it only had 35 lvl max or smthing, it was very early in its development. I really miss this game, actualy it's the only MMORPG I miss. Also, dungeons were very hard and it took a lot of tries to finish them. back then.
Just the best Game you could Play back then. It was just so fun, the combat was so freakn good ans the Bosses were Great ! So many years gone and i tried almost everything but nothing can be compaired to RaiderZ ! Hope its ressurection will be a Goal, and i Cant wait to play it some day again! For me your best video and thanks for Cover it ❤️
What? RaiderZ is back? Oh, it's a private server. I like that you also give some attention to some old "classic" dead games. Thanks! The main things that I remember from this game were the dynamic combat and the fact that you could try all the classes at the very beginning of the game. Those weapons that you saw around, with a yellow ellipsis... if you picked them, you could try how the other classes looked like at max level (temporary, until your dropped the weapon). It was a cool idea to try all the classes without making new characters, for new players. The game was a bit grinding though, towards the end. I remember the chat was 90% made of gold sellers, few months before it was shut down. It was still decently played, but too many cheaters.
Oh my god Raiderz....I remember this game it was freaking epic the PvP is simply second to none...shame it shut down so soon I wish they made a game with the same type of action combat system.
still remember like it was yesterday playing this game.what a nostalgic and legend game this is...funny when remember all player run when my guild in enter clan war 😆
until now this is the best game i have ever played XD tried black desert , but it's a button smashing game , raiderz is the best when in comes on dungeon and PVP . thanks for covering the private server scene man
the best combat system i've ever seen pve/pvp, i played this game for 4 years and never get bored . i heard they will re-release it but idk why they delay it soo much. Btw the cash shop is cheap and the currency not US $$, it's zen u can buy from their website and this game is not p2w. the cash shop sell costumes and mounts. only enhansment u can buy to upgrade the armor and weapon which can be crafted in game.
MMO I played the longest. Had fun till the very end. My movie clip for 2nd place is still on yt. I remember getting a package from Berlin I think, with headphones, t-shirt, wrist sports band and an electronic fan. Within game we were given beach costume. Still have the wrist thing and a tshirt w8ing to wear them again if the game comes out again xD I made friends whom I know since. Never played better MMO.
But those aren't the best though. C9 (Continent of the Ninth) definitely has the best 1v1 PvP with all it's possible combo and the skill ceiling was huge as hell. Sadly not a lot of people knew about the game and the PvE was meh so far.
@@ImXenaroth C9 was mainly instanced if I remember correctly, I tried it back when it still had a decent sized community. From open world games, RaiderZ combat was ahead of its time.
First action combat mmo that I ever played. Was way ahead of its time
Tera was ahead of its time...this game was shit day one.
DCUO was released in 2011 and was also ahead of its time I played it for 6 years and its still alive today, also the devs are working on a new Marvel MMO now
That Cerberus boss fight was the most amazing boss I'd ever experienced in a mmo and that was just in beta.
Haven't played this but played Tera and this looks like it has the better combat system to me
The Secret World came out the following June in 2012
This game was ahead of its time, the dungeons were great , the amount of teamwork it required to defeat a boss ( each class had its own role, a healer was a critical choice when you go for an epic dungeon) , the zones were fairly big considering the game is old , the customization was top notch , the costumes were beautiful and you could transform any wearpon/armor inside the game into a costume and you could color it , each weapon has its own glow and animation color when it goes above +8 ,there was also a variety of class choice , you could even make a tank class with healing abilities , you could play as a mage with a sheild and a mace, hybrid classes were fun to play , it was hard to predict what the opponent has up his sleeve when it comes to 1v1, sadly it didn't have any pvp except for few zones like Mt Eda or the arena , the arena rank system was also nice ,for example when you win 3 games in a row you get a bronze star next to your name and the more you rank up you get more stars until you reach 3 bronze stars , the next rank is a silver star and then two stars and then 3 silver stars and so on, seing people with these stars next to their names was so badass, there was also a special crafting system for arena players , the more you play arena matches , you get some special items that allows you to craft some really good pvp gear , if they remake the consept of the game with a new engine and graphics and add a little bit of sailing and other systems that other mmo games has , it will b one of the top MMOs and the armors in this game looked even better , sometimes a piece of armor looks better than a cashsop costume
Here's an Image of my character back then : imgur.com/dGd5pac
I agree with everything you said! Nice character btw!! :D
Ah I remember you, you were very talkative in private servers such as Wild RaiderZ.

man I could never kill Viva, Its my sole regret. Prolly cause all I did was PVP.
Its combat is the best ive experienced in any game. One of the endgame bosses you can face solo was so hard, that only a hand full of players was able to kill it. and it was not a question of equipment, it was a question of pure skill. the dungeons were fun aswell and you can cut off different parts of the enemies to exploit weaknesses, weaken abilities or even remove them from the enemy
which boss do you mean?
Viva. Back in my Days only a hand full of people could Do it.
i freaking love of the combat aspect of this game. it’s classic, no autos, just pure skill and timing. PvP duels was amazing af. I really love the open PvP war area.
This game actually had really the best real action combat system I have ever experienced. In PVP Skill actually matters, no bullsh1t. Really shame this game closed down.
Actually at some point you could go into the skill trees of other classes that u can make some quite unique builds.

Aha, I remember making Defender and Cleric hybrids way back. Or Berserker and Sorcerer hybrid for pure damage but a bit of a hassle.
@@praisesui-tyan I also remember having a def cleric and used to have a def mage for pvp too
after 15 points iirc, was playing on the private servers few months ago. this game is so overlooked
Funny thing, that mount at 11:58 that dude is riding is a 1-for1 recreation of the blue Felblaze Infernal mount from WoW. So definitely a private server specific thing.
Yeah, I was like "We're just gonna ignore the WoW mount??" lol
(Actually, sometimes it was impossible to find a party because the low population, and the bosses drops important items in order to craft epic weapons/armor, so i had no choice but it was really fun at any rate)
same! i loved this game
I had my greatest time playing any MMO with RaiderZ back in the day, great memories! ❤
Loved this game. Lots of freedom in building your character.
This game is and always was horrible. At no point was this ever in a *good* state.. It amuses me speaking to people like you, with zero standards.

Really miss it and sad that the game didn't go as planned.
seeing my favourite mmo of all time finally have a spotlight brings tears my eyes.
I really want a classic server of this game. This game did so many things right I was shocked it was shut down
try the revolution server
lmao that blue infernal mount you saw at 11:58 is literally ripped straight out of wow, it's the biting frostshard core you get for the 350 mount achievement
Dude, this game was so amazing, I loved it so much! Especially how the world changed after that one quest, I had never seen that before
Some of my best MMORPG memories are in this game.
Best action combat system ever imo. So skill based that you can solo the final boss with lvl 1 gears.
this game kept me sane 2013-2014 when i lived in Missouri. Really sad when when i heard about the servers shutting down.
I miss this game so much. One of the few games where the grinding was fun and enjoyable. This game was a mix of so many different good games.
i remember trying to remember the name of this game for some years. then one day i bit the bullet, sat down and screened through every mmo name on every mmo site and ctrl+clicked every one of them one by one.
I was so excited when this game released but I had a lot of server issues, I'm very excited to see if this game ever gets revived
try the revolution raiderz anyway, its pretty smooth and active staff to help you if got any problem
I still play the game on Revolution server, I am f*king amazed by the amount of the new content added
Have fun !
how is this server? how many are playing?
@@NamiWonderful i don't have a lot of detail, there's some people playing but as u know, it's not a well known game and it's a pirate server. So you most likely play alone.
The community is friendly and the server is the closest to the oficial rates as you can get. You will have to learn the mechanics to kill the bosses and craft better gear. It's good, like Dark souls in some sense hahah
I've been trying to remember this game's name for years!
I'd legitimately been wanting to play it again.
Kinda sad to hear it's gone now. :(
Impressed that they don't have the EXP gain cranked up to 11.
Shame just like everything else pwi touch it dies or gets milked.
so can u still play RaiderZ
@@BlingBoyOto so as a EU player should I play on legends or beast mode if I decide to?
LMFAO its hilarious talking to people like you, this game is not good and never was. You are bottom of the barrel people, no standards.
I really miss it ;/ The bosses/dgs are the best part of it to me, i loved wasting a couple of minutes/hours trying to solo some of them ;p
you can revive these moments on revolution raiderz also :D
I played pretty much all mmorpgs ever. Raiderz was by far the most fun i ever had in one, from closed beta until its' death. Never forgetti.
man as a huge Monster hunter fan, this game was really of the closest to a mmo with MH feature release in the west ( together with vindictus), killing boss, learning strat, crafting armor and weapon with the monster part, it was really cool and at that time if you wanted something similar you had to try MHF in japan, or Hunter blade ( delete for obvious copyright infringement)
i loved raiderz and still am holding out for a remake, im glad you finally played it
Nice thank you so much for testing our server
Have always found myself coming back to this game (on various private servers) over the years because I just find the combat quite unique (your attacks feel like they have real weight to them I guess). There was also another private server called Revolution Raiderz that had new maps beyond the original base game, and a higher level cap if I remember right. Fun times.
So many memories from this game, the pvp system and mechanic was so good, no point and clicking, pure skill
Shoutout to my guildmates from ExecutivE
Gudlula
Loved that game back in 2012. I am currently playing New World because I thought the combat would be the same as in Raiderz. But Raiderz combat is much better.
Actually hoping it comes back, it was one of my first mmorgps and Id like to play it once more :)
It was of my first mmorpg and god damn, the combat system felt SO fluid, almost as fluid as say Genshin Impact (genshin only cares mostly about looks, there was something else about raiderz that also made it feel better)
Looking at it back now, I really wish it was re-released but well It does look outdated nowadays. I know the one who got the rights is still working on it (but seems to go suuuper slow) dunno if I'll check it out but it impresses me that even after all these years, some other games that claim to be mmopgs don't even get close to all the stuff you could do in RaiderZ.
Keep your editor forever - the dude is great - props to the both of you!
I've missed this game so much. My first ever MMO and the reason why no other MMO ever matched up to this combat system for me
I like how he picked the class with the highest API "required" and arguably, the hardest class to play. :D
Was my favourite game for as long as it lasted. Still i hop back to a couple private servers for nostalgia .It lacked a ton of things, but the community was really dedicated and it was amazing
yeah i play in Riderz Revolution (private server)
there are 2 private server i know
Riderz Revolution and Riderz Legend and still update until now
I wish Wildstar would even have the option for private servers. That game will forever be one of, if not my top MMORPG in all aspects.
I remember receiving a duel request on my first hour into the game. I manage to win it by dodging and blocking at the right time. I loved the game.
Def lfg cata
Back after i ended playing Metin2 this game captured me entirely. Nice to see you playing it
This game needs to be buy to play, for it to get decent players, and a fully balanced cashshop.
Man, watching this gave me a hit of nostalgia RaiderZ was my very first MMO and the one that made MMORPG's my favorite genre of video games
I hope they're still working on the game, it was my favorite game back then, really good combat, miss it soooo much
This is a game that I’d love to play again with the relaunched version for nostalgia and I’d decide then if I’ll continue to play long term
Remember playing this game with my wife, from 2012 to 2015, was so sad so see it go. What a game.
Wrong. This game is and always was ass. Its so funny watching people like you with no standards attempt to defend it LMFAO
Best MMO I’ve ever played, so many fond memories
You missed on the best part! Character stats customisation. You could be a mage with a great sword and if you played well it'd be killer.
That WoW asset just straight into the game is pretty funny, the blue infernal mount
I loved this game (baring the voice acting) when I played it. This set the bar for action combat games for me.
I still remember this MMO, it was way ahead of its time
"What are you doing, stepbro?" - the level of voice acting in this game.
I enjoyed Raiderz so much when I played it, but I think it only had 35 lvl max or smthing, it was very early in its development. I really miss this game, actualy it's the only MMORPG I miss.
Also, dungeons were very hard and it took a lot of tries to finish them. back then.
thanks for showing me this game, I'll definitely give it a try, given that I play MMOs on private servers a lot...
For me your best video and thanks for Cover it ❤️
Nice stylized graphics to give it a look that ages well. 👍
Before blade and soul this was a first action combat mmo i ever played and enjoyed very much. Good memories
Ahh,my first and fav mmorpg from 6 years ago ❤️
I think the ability to pick up and use other items and weapons has some pretty huge endgame and overall potential...
still remember like it was yesterday playing this game.what a nostalgic and legend game this is...funny when remember all player run when my guild in enter clan war 😆
until now this is the best game i have ever played XD
tried black desert , but it's a button smashing game , raiderz is the best when in comes on dungeon and PVP .
thanks for covering the private server scene man
When I heard this game is about to shutdown I was so sad, I started recording everything to keep as memories. 😿🥺
I mean the Revolution pserver has more content and a little more active. Server's located in Canada which is good for NA peeps.
the best combat system i've ever seen pve/pvp, i played this game for 4 years and never get bored . i heard they will re-release it but idk why they delay it soo much. Btw the cash shop is cheap and the currency not US $$, it's zen u can buy from their website and this game is not p2w. the cash shop sell costumes and mounts. only enhansment u can buy to upgrade the armor and weapon which can be crafted in game.
This Game was so Great back in the days
MMO I played the longest. Had fun till the very end. My movie clip for 2nd place is still on yt. I remember getting a package from Berlin I think, with headphones, t-shirt, wrist sports band and an electronic fan. Within game we were given beach costume. Still have the wrist thing and a tshirt w8ing to wear them again if the game comes out again xD I made friends whom I know since. Never played better MMO.
Arguably the best action combat I've ever played when it comes to pvp, and I've played TERA, Blade and Soul, Black Desert
Wow, wish I had heard of this game years ago.
