Previously in Lost Ark:
I began my adventure in Arkasia as a Shadowhunter during the 3 day headstart after securing character names on all my alts, The first 30 levels or so I found extremely boring but at around level 30 the game started to get a bit more interesting with some cool questlines, my character unlocking the stronghold and eventually setting sail across the ocean to various other continents, eventually I hit level 50 after hours of super linear mindless questing only to discover I had another few hours of questing to go until I could start the end game...
In this video you'll see my past 2 weeks of Lost Ark progression all the way from T1 endgame all the way to the start of T3

I was in a negative mindset before actually playing lost ark and dropped by lvl 40, watched your first vid and i kept goin; now im on tier2 and having a blast
@Gad Sanchez feel kinda many people dropped the game before really experiencing the end game. For me , its the most unique game at this point in time
Especially in Tier2 the mmo aspect is just strating with map grouping, knowing the value of gold, doing raids more with group finder in mind and everyone at least knows how to play his class (and has proper engravings). I just dropped into tier 3 and now the real grind can begin. But im absolutely open to it - but will play more relaxed than the way to tier 3. At least: Stuff I do now matters. So gear matters while you where almost everytime outgeared in T1/T2 for the stuff. I will really miss my 2x tier 3 engraves. But so it begin again. And my gold twinks can relax now a bit. :)
People will stop playing before they reach 600. You need the mindset that T1 to T3 is whole game.

Yeah, Peon is right, levelling up to 30 so far is very linear & boring. Mrs & I are super-shlomos (not quote lvl 25!), exclusively duoing a Gunslinger + Soulfist. Combat is getting better, and some of the mini-dungeons were hella fun, but questing is generally same ol same ol. Hopefully we get past it soon & to end-game this year lol!
If you get your main to T2, your stronghold can research an ability to make honing T1 on your alts require less mats and higher chance to succeeding.

@@syzpj627 820 is when you officially hit tier 2. Once that is achieved just go into your stronghold and go into the research lab. Scroll all the way to the bottom and there should be two options for Tier 1 honing and XP requirements reduction. Research them right away before you even start upgrading your alts gear. it’s a 20% boost to your success chance which is a ton. This can be done again for Tier 2 alts once that character reaches tier 3.
There are stronghold upgrades that help your alts (less materials needed, higher honing chance etc.). Also if you climb the tower on a 2nd character you will get tons of materials instead of cards and other rewards.
You need to reach lvl 52 first and higher to enjoy those benefits
Not gonna lie, I read that as "carbs and other rewards" realised it was cards and thought, "and was like yeah don't fill up on useless cards" :P
How do you unlock those stronghold upgrades for more success chance. Do you just need to keep upgrading certain things i assume?

I absolutely fell in love with the endgame of lost ark. That’s all I play now. I’m a proud 1040 berserker and enjoying all the hours I have put in and will put in.

Really enjoyed your review. As a long time korean server player, I am very happy you are enjoying the game as I have been watching your video for a long time and really enjoy your youtube contents. Current NA's version of lost ark is only about 20% of what you will be getting in future updates. The huge success of Lost Ark in Korea started as they added legion commander raids and south vern continent. Once those updates hit, you will be able to experience seriously epic raids. I hope you have fun playing my favorite MMO in the world.

I haven't started playing Lost Ark yet, but will shortly, and i think ill be maining the same class as Peon Sorceress :D she looked very fun, i looked at a few "what class should i pick!" vids but none of them really stood out when it came to what class to pick, peons gfameplay of sorc was a dealbreaker tho :)

There are still ton of more contents not yet released in Western regions. Hope you play long enough to try Abyssal raids and finally Legion raids. which can be called true endgame :)

I am, like you, having an absolute blast playing this game. The dungeon at the end of Rohendel was the most fun dungeon I have played in a game in quite some time. I'm guessing you figured eventually in the Abyss dungeon with the orbs that you don't DPS the orbs? Just wait for the boss the teleport to you and he will destory them himself.
This game is definitely a good game. The pretty graphics and the sophistication of the details are amazing. You won't find graphic fragmentation in a myriad of places. It's also good because it's a game that can be played to the end even in f2p. It is said that there are many people who enjoy endgames through f2p even in kor suv, the hometown of this game. In fact, when I played the game myself, the p2w element is not bad either. Expensive ingredients are available in small quantities at the Marie Shop but at reasonable prices. I've seen articles saying that this game always amazingly updates the quality of the game as much as it makes money. A game to look forward to in the future.
how would it compare to a game like black desert online?
Glad a lot of people like the game, they've been grinding T3 and I was afraid they'd quit because part of the real fun I found was not only the bosses but exploring. Sitting at 900+ Mokoko seeds and 30+ Island hearts at 1090, didn't spend a dime for it and didn't funnel anything from any alt. I'm just, playing while also playing another game.
So you played without alts? pls tell me more i dont like to play alts i only want to play my main i can spend 9 hours a day if i want to without alts im a f2p please convince me i want to really play but the alt part really turns me off i dont mind paytowin pls convince me

@@maiiwiththedrip1764 You can play the game with a single character, if you don't care to be "the highest item level" etc and you just want to take it slow and experience the game, you can definitely do that with a single character. Obviously have multiple alts to feed materials is a benefit and you can squeeze a couple extra upgrades per day if you utilize all your alt slots, but again if you just want to play the game for what it is, you can easily do that with a single character.
You have nothing to lose except your own time as it's f2p, like peon said just play past the story and i'm sure you'll find something in the end-game you will enjoy.

The Endgame is incredible and the boss mechanics are through the roof in Abyssal content. People hating on this game are just inexperienced with it and need to persevere.

OOF... The game really does have a HUGE Tutorial Gap on Guardian Raids: The HUGE number of people that first few WEEKS that didn't even BRING Dungeon Pots with them was STAGGERING.
So many 'harder than they should be' GRs because the game fails to really make you understand that there are TWO types of Pots...
Gotta be honest, took me a week to realize you could use battle pots in Guardian raids too lmao
Literally same impressions as you! I also learned that once you just get T2, you get a research that lets your ALTs gear up easier to compensate for no islands.
im sure someone has already typed this down below but when you hit item level 802 you can research a honing speedup mechanic in your stronghold for tier 1, then higher ilvl tier 2 and so on.

Seeing peon run around without health pots was killing me lol. Im sure he's figured it out by now but in guardian raids and abyssal dungeons you can only use %hp pots.
Yeah it took me like a week to figure out lmao, felt like such a noob, ALSO it took me 2 weeks to learn you can actually refill your pots by going back to base in Guardians, I thought once you run out of pots that's it haha

The leveling was absolutely boring AF... but once I got past 35 and then when I got to the actual endgame it became soooooo good! the guardian raids, chaos dungeons, abyssal dungeons, etc are so exciting and every time I unlock a new boss or stage, it gives me that super adrenaline rush! I haven't really gotten into the islands yet, or any of the ocean content but I cant wait to get into that also and see where I progress to! The combat is outstanding and it never feels like its lacking, especially with skill customization. So far I have not felt any need to buy anything or being pushed to actually spend $ which I love regardless of the p2w people complain about (t2 atm and no push to buy). Graphically its bright, vibrant and the areas are really varied so you're never feeling stuck with one style of colour and background to run around in (that mini village you shrink into was sick). The boss fights throughout the story (50+ and some lower) can get pretty hard but it makes it feel so rewarding to beat them that way. I have tons of hours in lost ark now and I'm so glad to see you enjoying it just as much!
Leveling takes 15 hours, how come you can get bored on a brand new game so fast
For me it was because there was no part of the leveling where I WASN'T bored, aside from a few scattered moments here and there where I got to blow up a large group of enemies or tried out a new skill. Forgettable story, yawn-inducing voice acting, meaningless questing all suck, but the real problem is that the quest mechanics do nothing to show off what the endgame is like. Run 50 yards away from the quest giver, one/two shot a few groups of mobs, turn in, repeat. Endgame may be amazing but you can't fault people for being bored right out of the gate when the first few hours quickly turn into a slog. That's the studio's fault for not showcasing what their game is really like.

@@aleXtreme_ does it matter? You and I will enjoy different things which is fine. I’m just saying there’s a reason some of us bounced off the game and it’s because the leveling did such a poor job of showcasing the action. If they had made a much more minimal story and included the same sort of action you see at endgame, but during the leveling process, it might catch a lot more people.
Not many knew you could use and refill potions in guardian raid. You can also repair when in the circle in the beginning. You can only use the potions that can be equipped to battle item bar.

Do not get discouraged by mindless questing, reach the endgame and the game will change drastically.

@@flowlikeaether been playing for 200 hour without paying single penny. Already have boosted 6 character to max level using Ingame gold. Obviously someone swiping card can progress faster but so what? You are not forced to pay. It's a f2p game, we pay 60$ to buy so many shitty games, i remember paying 60 for Pokemon swsh and played for 25 hours. Totally garbage. This game i already have 200hours, believe me the 150+ hours spent in endgame was so enjoyable. You got gurdian raids lole monster hunter, where you go search for a monster and kill it, you can even break its part. There are 20 gurdian available to kill and that is only one of the endgame content. I know everyone says p2w and stuff, but don't say it until you play. Nobody is forcing you to pay in this game.

You're not crazy. The people calling it boring are the same people who skip every cutscene and rushed through it. But to each his own I suppose.
@Tinny Foiler Go do abyss dungeons and come back saying it's too easy... Or guardian raids. You just don't know what you're talking about... Leveling to 50 is just some sort of tutorial where you discover the world, it's not meant to be hard or anything.
@Tinny Foiler Well, I can understand that you dislike it. I for example didn't find it tedious, but I didn't rush it. And now I'm really enjoying the end game, although I went in with a negative opinion about the game, being an asian mmo.
I read all quest dialogues and actually enjoyed it. Many people saying it's boring probably spam G and call it shit sadly. The story is nothing exceptional but shouldn't get so much hate.
@Tinny Foiler good. After level 50 the game is just spamming button and enemy's death. Even abyss dungeon you just spam button and boom, suddenly tier 6 equipment.

never got why people even give such a fuck about mmorpgs stories. they all suck, none makes sense, they keep changing things and they never have the balls to do something unique. if im playing a computer game i want gameplay. if i want good story, i will watch a tv show or read a book, but why should i waste my time with unskipable cutscenes?

The other raids are also challenging and some of the guardian raids are pretty tough and some require almost perfection.

loving lost ark so far im in early end game - I personally love the questing and 1-50 process my self enjoyed a ton
I'm at 1.05k and it keeps blowing my mind. It's sooo good and just keeps getting better. If you're not rushing, make sure to make your dailies guys(also accept weeklies early), buy mats from the chaos/guild weekly. They will help a ton to prevent you from getting gated right before t2 and you'll fly through
yeah, the lvling was never boring for me personally, mostly cause of the beautiful world and stuff. plus it's super fast paced.

Once you get your main to ilvl 802, an upgrade on your stronghold will appear where it will take 20% less resources to hone to tier 2. And 20% success rate boost to hone to tier 2. I don't recommend doing the knowledge transfer unless you want to save 1 hour. I will only skip story quests, you get no gear. But with the stronghold upgrades, getting alts to 802 will be way more easier.

I feel like the BIGGEST mistake of Lost Ark's design is not having a faster-paced early game, and not having minor skips during the early questline.
As soon as you step into the first few tidbits of endgame, the fun factor just ramps up so much its insane

Which sucks imo, because on the long run they do take up 10 ish hours to get through as a whole, whereas the lategame content is mostly how much time it takes for you to learn and adapt to the systems - which is significantly more enjoyable
@@5daydreams it helps people get started with the game though. There are so many systems in the game so the early game, although tedious, helps make sure new players don't get overwhelmed.
In my opinion it's too streamlined making it too easy and boring. Bosses should have mechanics and so on even during leveling.
I can agree on this - it is a similar thing with what I felt towards PoE's earlygame, in which it really doesnt matter what you do, it's just a heavy grind without proper lategame impact nor does it impact lategame skill-development
@@5daydreams Honestly, this fits for pretty much any mmo on the market.
In my personal opinion PoE requires a bit more from you before reaching end-game just slapping on whatever you find without a build in mind won't get you all the way there. Lost ark on the other hand, just equip the highest iLvl and use whatever skill you want. There is no way you won't at least get to vern.
Love the videos! This is exactly how I felt as I progressed too, it shows how the game evolved. It was considered a disaster in korea at launch, but as the developers took more and more input from the community, they drastically improved the game. From t2 to t3 to legion raids to skins to events. Crazy.

You can do as much as like but only two per day will rewards gear unless you have rest xp. We only have the beginning of T3 content, not all of it.
I too am having a absolute blast.
Despite all of its flaws, I would say that Blade and Soul is an action combat mmo that had fantastic pve content, the raids were super challenging and gave you that real sense of accomplishment when you cleared them
Lost Ark reminded me exactly of Blade and Soul... The raids for me were top tier
And you didn't even touch on Field Bosses, Cube, Islands, Adventure Tomes, Raport, Collectibles, Cards, etc... There is so much varied gameplay here that it is quite incredible. I found myself focusing only one 1 character, but doing a little bit of everything. Some of the Island quest chains and just better than the main story.
Because it is an MMO, im taking my time experiencing everything and not rushing to the endgame/T3 too hard. I'm playing a Scrapper (which appearently is the least played class), but I'm having a ton of fun. Some skills just feel too amazing and watching whole screens gib just makes you feel so damn powerful.
Gameplay for sure is a 10/10.
This may be the only time that I've ever disagreed with one of your game impressions. Truly I've been enjoying this game basically from level one I mean some of the quests... a lot of the quests are your standard go fetch this, hell one quest had me carving freaking pumpkins after becoming the Kings night. But the entire Luterra quest line and the whole siege of Castle Luterra I mean damn, I'm here for this. The game feels like playing through final fantasy story but with BDO combat.

Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids are the most fun things in the game and they are the reason I'm still playing after having a 1300+ Paladin and 1200+ Shadow Hunter and Bard 😀
I had the exact same feeling. The game feels like 2 completely different games, pre-Vern and post-Vern.
I find guardian raids horribly boring, and i cannot understand why the hp bar/stagger bar is not there.
three chars already in t3 ... not sure if to be impressed or concerned. As someone said, Guardian raids are quite simple and stale. Out of the first 15 guardians, only like 3 to 4 are somewhat interesting/demanding. Everyone else is just a punching bag. Well, Chaos dungeons are just the quick way of getting mats. Nothing more. Abyss dungeons are fun, as long as you and/or your team are not perfect in it. It is like a dance where you need to follow a set move set to be victorious. Little to no dynamic events happening. If you know what to do, well ... where is the excitement?

I tried the game in the beta and uninstalled in 40 minutes. Thought the game was just not for me despite me liking Diablo, Grim Dawn and generally others in the genre.
The game also ran pretty poorly on DX9 which thank fuck was changed to DX11 on launch.
Currently I'm only at level 37 I think and loving it. The combat is the best in the genre and the gameplay in general is top notch and the graphics are really cool.
Haven't even touched end game content and I can tell this is probably the best ARPG I've played.
None of my friends survived getting through the story, everyone quit around level 30 about 10 hours of gameplay.
General consensus among them : "This game is good, but I wanted an mmo not a on the rails 20 hour story, when does group play even make sense??"
All of us moved to mh rise.
(I made it to level 50 got the powerpass tickets and bailed, didn't want run into that "oh this promotion has ended" if I ever come back.)
Same, all of my friends quit after reaching T3. They got past which was considered by Amazon the tutorial of the game and straight up figured it wasn't worth their time to continue. Now I'm the last one to quit.
I do find the story and the especially the voice acting not up to scratch, but I am heartened to hear that beyond all that, I should continue pushing on
Endgame is SO MUCH fun! Guardian dungeons, abyssal raids, chaos dungeons, islands everything is so much fun and there is so much to do.

Im glad that I watched this. I started playing a long while ago but havent really clicked with leveling... this def has me more interested and im glad i took the time to look up what endgame is like!
upgrading 1040 to 1100 is such a pain in the ass....can't imagine that on t3....3 days, 4k gold and I only managed to upgrade a fuking helmet from +14 to +15 which is absurd

I'm glad i play Sorceress now! I only play 2 or 3 hours a day so it will be a while before I see end game content. I've gotta agree with you about not liking top down games and about Lost Ark being different.
Most fun MMO I played in a veeeery long time.As for the leveling process I didn't find it tedoius at all.Highly doubt I will find more tedious and boring questing than New World's to be honest.As for the whole "p2w debate" for me at least, as long as it doesn't have items in shop that provide power and can't be obtained by playing the game it's not p2w and I don't mind at all the shop. :)

just so everyone knows, you get 2 free level 50 boost 1 when you hit 50 and 1 when you complete vern. You get 9 knowledge transfers that cost 600g each but take 8 hours to complete but you get a level 50 out of each (alts are king) . When you get to 600 item level and push in to 802 there is stong hold research that pretty much makes getting to 600 on alts 100% with out failing and cheaper this is also at 1310 and 1340 and 1380 as well so make sure you pick the toon you want to main and push to those brackets and aim to have alts into t3 with your mains so you can pump the gold
In the stronghold, you can upgrade the honing chance for lower tiers for your alts and the cleared towers gives the materials for the alts as well.

Put 60h into it as a Berserker and... well, i left.
1) I am certainly not a story player but i tend to play those with a decent degree of "efficency". Meaning, i wanna do all side stuff along the way since i do not like backtracking if i can avoid it. Because of this, i used the interaktive map to grab every mob, seed, lookout,... along the way. Which resulted in 40h of leveling from lv0-50 which was the absolut worst experiance i had in over a decade.
Best part was, as i hit lv50, ive been told the continent i was in (Stern as its capital) was the wrong one and i needed to get to Vern. So i did, just to notice that i could not enter a sincle "end game mechanic" as my gearscore was to low. If guild mates wouldnt have told me to just upgrade some stuff i would have ended up clearing another continent before getting my first 302 set (was around 30% into lv50 at that point).
2) Once that was all done i basicly cleared all T1, where the whole Alt stuff started. IDK, something about that was completly offputting, not to mention the upgrade system which makes BDO´s progression looking like a casual dream (as well as the need to upgrade multible chars so, multible times of the same rng insanity).
3) Openworld, PvP and "Endgame". Its fun, tho dungeons in general tend to get me bored rly quick and i have absolutly no desire to replay raids over and over again. PVP feel great, Island PVP was fun as well. Lots of stuff to do, tho the hundrets of currencies seem like an unnecessary burden noone needed.
4) Item shop, well here is where the real fun starts i guess. While i do not mind treating games like a Sub, Lost Arks cashshop is insane. While it basicly only effects others within your group, in GvG and island PVP, its completly messed up what you can achieve by swipeing a card. If you think BDO is bad, then you are in for a treat. Especially with its millions of sub systems...
Long story short. Yes its decent. For sure try it out, it has a lot to offer either way. It feels like a well polished Mobile Game which throws small but shiney things in your face every 2 mins which kind of wants you to keep on playing. Content is good and plenty to choose from for both, long and short term goals.
That said, its P2W aspect is completly broken, If you want to "compeat" in any way then good luck to you. The gap between a F2P and P2W player in here was the worst ive seen in a long time for a non mobile game.
What? You legit think bdo upgrade is easier than lost ark? WHAT LMFAO. your items legit can get deleted in BDO. LA's upgrade system is MILES easier than bdos. Also, what do you mean the "cash shop is insane" the only thing worth actually buying in the shop is Mari's shop (which is the most f2p feature ever btw) you legit just transfer gold into crystals if you wanna buy stuff in maris. This isn't hard either, as you can easily make thousands of gold a day if you know what you are doing, which translates into a hell of a lot of crystals. Also, I can tell you are legitimately clueless by saying "gap between f2p and paid player is huge". This is just straight up not true, as I am a 1329 ilvl player already in the start of t3 content without paying. I got all of my crystals by farming gold and transferring (which is extremely easy btw, got 60$ in crystals alone just today). The only thing in the game that is legitimately P2W is pushing 1400gs+, which is not required for any of the content, and from what KR players have told me, it's a small DPS boost of 2-5% for the ppl that do manage to spend the tens of thousands of dollars to push into insane GS numbers.
@@ToadMagic uhm, yes with the current content is not as insane as its gonna become unless we do get massivly altered rates.
Why is the Upgrade system in LA worse you ask? Let me tell you why. Sooner or later, when we get accses to more content, again assumeing it doesnt differ to much from other regions, its all about your upgrade and less about your base gear. Why is that you might ask. Because there is an immense difference between +20 and +25 (bit under 50% in raw power) which btw are as low as a 0,25% chance at its base and a F2P player is absolutly daily / weekly caped on how many attempts he gets while a P2W player is basicly not.
Also keep in mind, a very early game set at +25 WILL outperform the very end game set at +20. Yes it wont be BiS, but it doesnt need to be either.
Lets not even start about the funny stones we get to polish, pets, costumes etc. as those are a whole topic on its own.
Then there is the whole Stronghold topic as well, where a credit card can save you months of F2P progress in nearly an instant if you want to.
So, if you look at other regions, with there current amount of content, would need over !!!!3 years!!!! of consistent upgrade mat farm and months of consistent progression to tackle said stages of endgame, a P2W player needes just a couple days (also, this does NOT include gearing up a single alt to actualy beeing able to farm content you need). Now tell me how is this system better then BDO, where you at least have the option to buy / 100% upgrade your gear no matter what at your own pace without time locks.
Then there are all the sub systems which you simply will not manage to complet in any reasonable amount of time compared to a swiper. Keep in mind, those absolutly translate directly into power. Be it flat permanent stats up or up to % bonuses like crit chance via cards.
All in all, LA layers RNG over RNG over RNG where every step along the way, a credit card WILL help you.
In short, unless they drasticly change the requirements to progress, the difference will become insane. If that gap is to much for you or not, well thats for everyone individualy to decide.
But i repeat it once more, I personaly still think its a decent game for what it is and i do recommend that people should try it out.
@@SoukenIDK they did change the requirements.. They made pretty much everything easier to acquire. Also, no bdos system is not better lol. If you just wanted to "100% upgrade" something it's going to take literal weeks of grinding, with a chance of blowing up your item.

We will see how much it changes once we get accses to all the content other regions have. I kind of doubt they reduce it by that much of the very very last raids etc as well but we will see.
Given BDO´s current market, there is absolutly no need to blow up anything. BiS gear is getting sold regularly and PEN gear is the new norm which you even get via quests. If you want to, you can 100% play it without any form of RNG in terms of gear (besides maybe 3 or 4 certain items which i think dont rly exist at PEN yet outside of a handfull of people).
While it may take weeks to get there, so does it in Lost Ark. Very little difference.

Loving every minute, only having to 2 chaos/2 guardians a day with rested xp if i dont get to them is awesome, even if I have 30 minutes a day I get guaranteed upgrade mats for that day and I appreciate that. Better than grinding red maps in PoE by a mile.
That’s what I love. This game respects your time compared to other mmos. Dailies don’t take that long, it’s alt friendly, and you aren’t forced to dailies everyday
I spent a whole year doing daily quest in genshin because of extreme FOMO and its making insane so i deleted the game lol.
Daily stuffs in lost ark can be done later is just a godsent blessing I never imagine to experience

I've actually discovered Outward through your videos, really enjoyed that one. Even tho Lost Ark isnt available in my country, I'm gonna find some obscure way through a VPN and try and play it. Chaos dungeons give you insane loot boost twice a day, but you can still enter and get gear, but you'll get more "exchange" currency to trade for gear and harmony and such

If you want to have more fun in the game, start a guild with your IRL friends, I'm in a guild with some guys who are friends IRL and they're having tons of fun when they do the dungeons and raids together. I don't know them IRL, but I watch them on Twitch.
Getting main character to level 50 and complete the MSQ to North Vern is pain in the ass but after that it is like a butter on hot pancake because you can obtain 2 vern passes to your ults and not to mention with the new character that just got released and it came with feiton pass too.. if you still have 3 more ults, just do the power knowledge with cost of gold, I know this is gonna be hurt for some people but also try to get your main up to tier 3 first and then farm materials from there and sell the materials for gold and use the gold for your ults like power knowledge. I play a level 47 Sorc as main. That was all I wanted to play. I mean I have alts but sorc is my main. Those numbers she puts out are amazing. Nothing says awesome than being a "squishy" and surrounding yourself with 15 mobs, going half-life and killing them all in 4 hits. Hit yourself up with a potion and doing it again in 10 seconds after CD resets. Lifes good.
I really enjoyed seeing your journey from beginning up till now. You actually gave the game a fair shot and in turn its also showcased its positive side and been able to capture you. I hope you find that T3 content is enjoyable too. From us players who have been in KLOA for years, its nice to see new players join in. Honestly, if you like the raids now, you're going to LOVE the future ones. The difficulty ramps up 10x and the feeling of reward also.
The game really gets good at the end game. Its kinda annoying that MMOs force us into these long MSQs and what not to get to end game, before we actually experience the game. But luckily Lost Ark's combat kept me interested to ge tto end game.

I’ve been at endgame content for about a week now. I’m sincerely addicted and have scheduled my days out so I can get on every single day lmao! It’s pitiful, but I just want to keep playing! I’m also not racing to the meta. I’m just going at my own speed and doing whatever the hell I want!
PSA: you are NOT limited to just 2 chaos dungeons per day. You can actually do as many as you want, and are rewarded with shards you can trade in for upgrade materials, and engraving books (very important).
i tried to play the game. i had to uninstall it since i really don t like the combat, the questing and i don t find the loot satisfying. i get why some people may like it. it s not for me tho.
I understand the game isn't for everyone, but I think it's fair to say it's worth trying a few different classes before you give up. Just like Peon I was so sure of my main class choice until I tried Sorc and realized that it was so much more enjoyable for me.
i understand. i did try 2 of them. but coming from path of exile i see this qs a downgrade. but again depends on what everyone likes. some may see this as an upgrade :D

The siege of Luterra castle sold me on this game, not to mention the dungeon designs were amazing. I never felt like the game was very grindy to level. Can’t wait to get deeper into the endgame content
I had no issue with the first time lvling from 1-50 .. way better than in other mmorpgs I even lvled some alts even tho its not needed in that game
I did the same thing! Leveled a shadow hunter used my boost on a mage, and now it’s my main lol. They are super fun. Not sure what to use my other boost on, thinking of holding it for a new class.
Most if not all class releases so far in Korea and Russia have come with power passes. That way everyone can boost one up right away so I would recommend picking something out of what is a available. Pally, Bard, or Gunlancer would be my suggestion since they play very differently than all the straight dps classes.

Hey man. Not sure you’ll see this comment. For guardian raids and dungeons you can bring potions. Not regen potions but actual potions in your 1,2,3,4 Hotbar! Hope you see this and do that. Also the starting spot of guardian raids the little circle is where you can refresh your potions and grenades! People like this so peon can see this!

The game itself isn't too bad, what killed it for me is just the fundamentals of xp gain. Why is it only questing that nets you xp?
What made me think about it was me turning in a quest to notice the popup say "+x COMBAT xp". Why the heck am i getting COMBAT xp for pressing G. This game is already a press G simulator, why can't i just go out of my way and kill stuff if i wanted to level up? And why do you get xp for turning in the quest instead of killing the things?
Essentially you're just locked and forced into "finishing the story" which is pretty MEH to begin with (it's an ACTION rpg, not story rpg) which adds even more linearity to the whole process.
Might aswell grant people max level off the bat cause it seems like the devs themselves know how linear it is and if the "best part" really is the endgame which seems to be the focus on why even bother with "story" or "levelling"? Most people aren't even gonna make it there, including me cause if the journey to the "best part" isn't even remotely decent, why should i believe the "best part" is decent?
It’s a Mmo. There is always leveling. Enjoy the story. It’s great. Also the leveling is WAYYYY BETTER and streamlined than most mmo’s. You are crazy to think otherwise. Don’t blow through it. Enjoy your time. End game will always be there.
Yeah, same. I actually enjoyed the leveling quite a bit. It's fun and there's tons of little things to discover and explore.
Everyone was so hyped about this game so I decided to try it out on launch. Never played top down mmo and wasn’t expecting much from this game, but man I understand what you mean by being addicted. Having so much fun
If anyone wants a similar game to the endgame of Lost Ark, Monster Hunter is definitely for you. Isn't a traditional MMO more of a single-player experience but very similar elements and without the need to grind levels at all you're just right into it!
I'm only up to 31 on my gunner, and I have been finding the levelling a bit of a slog, but the combat feels so nice once you get used to it that it's kept me going. Seeing this, I'm pretty excited to get to that endgame now! Thanks for the great video. :)
My friend has put in over 60 hours in just to get to lvl cap. Seems like a huge time sink just to get to the fun chaos dungeons.
Ngl, I tend to lvl through an MMO kind of mildly enjoying it. Then I get to the endgame and I can't be bothered wit hthe geargrind, endgame gets too confusing & overwhelming and i stop caring and quit.
But with Lost Ark it just introduces you to stuff with quests and it left me wanting to try it out more &more & honestly I wish I had the time (and no queues) to no life this game because it's fantastic.
The warrior gameplay reminded me so much of Diablo 3 Palladin/Beserker.
After watching your Lost Ark vids I named my Berserker "Bradwarden" :>
I'm having a blast at level 27. I took it super slow not having any expectations for endgame. Because wanting endgame is what usually ruins my experience. Each dungeon has been SO enjoyable to me, and I know people are gunna ridicule me for this, but I prefer the simpler story to final fantasy 14s super political story with long complicated names and groups.
