I bought my first motorcycle camper in June of 1999. A Roll a Home, first generation. They are the ONLY camper that has storage under the bed and still has a hard shell floor to stand on, that is off the ground. I had the manufacturer make me a new tent for the trailer in 2018. I got the add a room and the A/C port . I've pulled this trailer from the Midwest to the east coast, to the west coast, to Alaska and back. Only in 2020 did we not ride because of covid shutting the nation down.
Nice quick run through. However, after spending about a month researching these, I believe when looking at them from a user's perspective, the key things are bed size (unless you are planning to travel alone, 54"+ bed width is the minimum), tow weight (which is also stopping weight) including (optional) spare tire plus your gear, and ease of setup (these vary between (literally) 1 minute and 10 minutes, which is a considerable difference in the rain). Some, when open, have floors that are several inches off ground, while other have floors that are on the ground, or are the ground (think rain, again). One of them, the Lees-ure Lite, comes with supports allowing it to be stored on end when not in use (nice if you have a garage). Some have optional electric trailer brakes. If buying used, the tent fabric generally has about a 20 year life, if well card for. Replacement tents run about $1500-2000. (What did I buy? A Lees-ure Lite Excel (wider model), but I bought a used one only a few years old that was for sale near me at a good price; it was not the only contender.)

First - check for tow capacity of your car, model, year. Second - read weight of the trailers you're interested in. Third - Take into account that your car's tow capacity includes all passengers, cargo, in addition to the trailer itself. Sorry, I stopped watching at the first trailer #10. Any trailer wider than the mirrors and blocking your rear view is a bad idea. This goes for any vehicle, not just motorcycles.
Moby1 is out of business. Owner stole a customers trailer and insurance money is what he is being charged with. Plus BBB reviews are not so good either.
This is simply a list compiled from marketing material from each manufacturer. There is no ranking based on testing. 2 of the models should not even be considered, as one is a 4 wheel vehicle pulled camper, and the other is out of business due to thievery. smh.
As I'm looking and looking for something for myself, I'm coming to the conclusion that there's more struggle with it than it's worth. It's better to throw a hammock, mosquito net, tarp in a side bag and you have everything you need.
You probably talk funny to him, too... and maybe to the rest of us, depending on what part of the country you were raised in. His accent is actually not very heavy.
why would you guys go through all the trouble or showing all these videos and not putting any kind of price tag to give people an idea what they can afford. I was always told growing up when someone tries to sell something and there's no visible price tag look out 👀🥶
Just google each model for price and availability. I am putting a spreadsheet together. I assigned values for each of the key characteristics (weight, tire size, head room, bed size, etc.) Easy to do an allows you to determine best fit for your use.

I want an Alite (made by Aliner) but they stopped making them 2013 ugh
I've been looking to buy an Alite 400 for a couple of years, with no luck. When I do find one, it's either on the opposite side of the country (I'm west coast), or "just sold", or outrageously expensive because of popular demand.
can a 200cc bikes pull any of these camper trailers?
can you please tell me what the three wheeled vehicle is that is pulling the leisure lite?
Pete
I love your channel your videos are so intriguing
Thanks for being with us!
these might be good for a priusC
Det var då fan att man inte kan hitta campingvagnar som dessa i Sverige ... Jag får la bygga en egen
Can a 4 cylinder toyota Corolla pull these Motorcycle campers?..
Yes you can.
First - check for tow capacity of your car, model, year. Second - read weight of the trailers you're interested in. Third - Take into account that your car's tow capacity includes all passengers, cargo, in addition to the trailer itself. Basically, yes, your 4 cylinder Corolla may be capable of pulling one of the lighter-weight motorcycle trailers. I have a 2007 Honda CR-V (max tow capacity 1500 lbs) and a 2002 Lees-ure Lite trailer.
I would never pull a trailer like the MyPod which weighs 630 pounds. That is way too heavy to pull with a motorcycle.
Thanks for your concern!
Shouldn't even be on this list, way to heavy to be safe to pull with a bike and questionable with a trike.
Moby filed for Bankruptcy in 2017?
Thanks for your concern
Personally if I ever go with three wheel motorcycle will have one pusher loved the good night sleep part
Moby1 is out of business. Per BBB, they were taking 50% deposits but never delivering a finished trailer.

Check at a motorcycle rally.
So I guess my 2023 Camry can pull any Motorcycle Camper???

id go for mypod if i have a stronger bike..
Thx for sharing
Thanks for watching!
What's the minimum size bike you need for these?
I bought one of the first Time Out campers way back in 1976, had to put it together. I pulled it with a 500 Honda two up. Covered a lot of miles and into Canada. Probably not ideal but it's what I had at the time. Later pulled with a 900 Custom Honda, no problem. Bigger is better. Thousands of miles, never a problem, great camper! Sold for $100 less than I paid for it
j adore mon rêve de motard avoir une petite caravane derrière moi et partir me promené mais voilà pas les moyens
Bedroll and a tarp been good enough for me over the last 30 years or so...
10 Motorcycle trailer campers and never one mention of surge brakes on the trailer.. I say they should have surge brakes on them ..
Breaks are an option with the Time-out campers.
tripple those prices in Australia
4 - sure here in Canada also.
Roadmans website says they’re out of business 7/30/21
That is sad. They were on my list to buy. Until I found the Time-out campers.
7:00 motorcicle name?
Pete
Maximum Speed in Germany 60km/h ~37mp/h with bike and trailer. In my opinion its not legal to use the Autobahn 🤣
The 10 is the BEST?
Sorry, I stopped watching at the first trailer #10. Any trailer wider than the mirrors and blocking your rear view is a bad idea. This goes for any vehicle, not just motorcycles.
that's alright
Smart safe cause I did jacknighf at a stop sign. The person stopped on a yellow light.
한국에서는 이륜차뒤에 트레일러는 불법인데...외국에서는 가능한가보군요... 한국인 이륜차(바이크) 후진국이라서.....
Any motorcycle trailer must never be wider than the motorcycle towing it.
Funny = Cheers man !!! :)
Moby1 is out of business. Owner stole a customers trailer and insurance money is what he is being charged with. Plus BBB reviews are not so good either.
is not available here!
sorry to hear that :(

Most Innovative Truck Bed Campers : ua-cam.com/video/xxfUr6A_EaY/v-deo.html
This is simply a list compiled from marketing material from each manufacturer. There is no ranking based on testing. 2 of the models should not even be considered, as one is a 4 wheel vehicle pulled camper, and the other is out of business due to thievery. smh.
Thank you for your feedback. We will keep that on mind from next. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi
Are they copying all the design of the trailers it's all the same
As I'm looking and looking for something for myself, I'm coming to the conclusion that there's more struggle with it than it's worth. It's better to throw a hammock, mosquito net, tarp in a side bag and you have everything you need.
😮😮😮
I have hitch to sell .Fits a 2017 HD heritage. Pm if interested.
that guy talks funny. Seriously, I couldn't understand half of what he was saying.
Its called an accent. You can turn on the subtitles
You probably talk funny to him, too... and maybe to the rest of us, depending on what part of the country you were raised in. His accent is actually not very heavy.
I’m sorry but I gave up on the video. It was several minutes in and you were still not on topic.
You must have the attention span of a nat it took two minutes which is an average intro
Too many commercials
Commercials??? I'm watching this on 9/21/20 and there are no commercials... perhaps edited in the two weeks since you posted?
@@PalmdaleGal I just watched and there was no commercials.

?
What the fuxk was that intro music?! Is this a horror movie?
why would you guys go through all the trouble or showing all these videos and not putting any kind of price tag to give people an idea what they can afford. I was always told growing up when someone tries to sell something and there's no visible price tag look out 👀🥶
Perhaps they read and took your advice... I'm watching this on 9/21/20 and all have prices... perhaps edited in the week since you posted?
Just google each model for price and availability. I am putting a spreadsheet together. I assigned values for each of the key characteristics (weight, tire size, head room, bed size, etc.) Easy to do an allows you to determine best fit for your use.
