Hi guys, I just come across this video absolutely Alario’s I built a camper trailer for my motor Gozzi and travelled all the way up north Queensland in Australia. Every time I pulled up people come and admire how much stuff would come out of it. I would have a table chairs, cooking facilities, etc etc even had a awning, so I could put my motorbike underneath when it was raining had a fantastic time travelling around. Keep up the good work guys from Australia, the thunder down under.
yeah I agree, seems to be a better way to add that sorta thing to a motorcycle without making it massively top-heavy, a sidecar would also look cool IMO, once one overcomes the asymmetric steering pattern.
I took my 1974 Honda CB750K4 on an 8,000 mile solo road trip around the country. It has half a Vetter touring kit on it, upper fairing with windshield, highway bars but no pegs, just the studs heh. Platforms, king/Queen saddle seat, sissy bar, rear luggage rack and integrated fiberglass side saddle storage. I tried my duffel bag onto the passenger seat and when I got tired, I just kicked back against the bag, propped my feet up between the windscreen and handle bars, and slept. To stay out of the weather, I tied my Wubby (if you know, you know) between the sissy bar and windscreen and it made it a comfortable tent. I hit some hellatious wind on US-2 coming across Minnesota. I had to be on the far right shoulder, leaned so far into the wind that when I crossed a wind break, it shot me all the way across both lanes before I could straighten up again. That lean into the wind is no joke on big, old bikes like mine. They are much taller than modern bikes. It was all period correct original, no cup holders, charge ports or anything. Cruise control for me was a left hand cross grip on the throttle, heh. First issue was a broken chain half mile west of Maris Pass. It was so stretched that I just used the breaker tool to press out the broken link and press it back together. That got me all the way to central California, heh. I stopped in California to get the utterly worn down rear tire and chain replaced before going into Death Valley in August. I got a flat rear tire in Death Valley. While sitting on the tire, I had a van full of European tourists slow down, take pictures, wave and drive on. Other than that, no issues. Frozen mountain passes, stormy open plains, 120+ degree desert heat, the bike handled it all without issue nor complaint. It was a great ride.
The Kompact Kamp Mini Mate Motorcycle Camp Trailer Tent is about the best of the type. The ability to hang up wet riding gear and to have full standing height is welcome, as is being able to attach an awning or a separate Add A Room for extra enclosed space for time at camp. A diesel air heater enhances life in wet weather or during winter months.
What makes these videos so good is unlike top gear ari is capable of fixing issues that would have normally ended the trip. It’s also super interesting watching him fix it
That Wing-abego with extending section was a nice piece of engineering. As someone else in the comments mentioned; having that setup as a trailer with some added support legs for the extension portion would make a decent camper option!
With 300k touring miles in the saddle, I've ridden through some sketchy weather and road conditions, but nothing as sketchy as Ari's terrifying battle with the cross winds. I'm glad the only tip over had was at zero miles per hour. Kudos for another outstandingly entertaining adventure! The best content on UA-cam.
This reminds me of when my wife and I and another couple left home In Augusta Ga. going to Billings Montana to a Goldwing Rally. We made two of these trips. Going through Kansas we ran into a 65mph. wind. It was a head on cross wind. I had my GL 1800 wide open and only running 35 mph. I knew if I had stopped we would have been blown over. I believe our 650 lb. Camper kept us on the road.
That suzuki setup is absolutely amazing. The gold wing was a good attempt but I couldn't see anyone actually using that. I feel like combining the 2 together and pulling the popup with the gold wing would be the ideal situation.
This was incredible to watch, its so beautifully filmed and edited, its really like Top Gear and I love that! Also, the Wing-Ebago body on a trailer chassis would be a great revision of a motorbike motorhome, best of both worlds.
Trying to make a motorcycle into a moto-home doesn't even sound fun to me, but you guys made this an absolutely fantastic watch 😂 perfect while having my Sunday morning breakfast. Thank you guys for making these incredible videos!!! I have to say Zack's setup seemed to work way better and let the bike still handle reasonably well, but I'm super impressed with the craftsmanship that went into Ari's Wing-Ebago 👌 especially when it was still intact after going down several times!
These videos of both Zack and Ari never ever disappoint and this is the case here, so glad to have another go at out of the box ideas for motorcycles. This sure looked like fun but I will have to say that if I were to choose, I'll choose the pullout tent been carried by a gixxer, those winds looked terrifying in the Goldwing-ebago. Keep up the good work guys!
I think my favorite part of these videos are when they have to fix their bikes. I don't know why but it's just cool seeing these guys solve those problems.
So glad to see Dave back again on the show, awesome to see you kept it. Still rewatch the Ducati vs Gixxer vid every once in a while because it's that good
I laughed harder than i should when i discovered that Ari was still inside the barn. 😂 God, blessed you both guys for making such uncommon things like this.
Until I watched this amazing video, the metaphor "barn" used to mean a vast and spacious empty room. 🙂 Well, as usual, everything depends on the context.
Nice stuff guys! I have seen homes with bicycle, homes with auto, but there was nothing in between so far. Congrats! And thanks for sharing these moments with us!
You two are out of your minds and I'm all here for it. When Ari was blowing in the wind you could hear the nervousness in his voice lol. Epic episode as always lads!
Thanks guys, we now know that towing a trailer is the better option if I ever decide to turn my bike into an RV - keep doing the crazy stuff, love it :)
I used to pull an old metal tin coffin behind my bike bout 30 yrs ago. It started out as my tool box when I welded at chemicle plants, then made a hitch for my bike n build a trailer with the coffin. The rest was history but had sleeping arrangements n storage room. Was great for many yrs till I bought a 27ft bus. Take care.
Really liked the idea of the wing-ebago as silly as it is 😂, although the crosswinds were really scary, maybe it would be slightly better if the top of the camper could be folded flat as well so it doesn't catch the wind too much
At 18:42 before even Ari could ask for the gas smell, Zach is already down on all fours doing his things. Shows how they care and know each others craft. Fking lovely!!!
the wing a bago was done really well. I like the finish, it's insulated and has sealed windows and RV locks. he only thing that I would change if this was actually serious would be to add thin aluminum to the roof and sides like a real RV. It wont take long for that plywood to start to rot.

You are the first person that I've heard saying what I suspect in these cities . Make things horrible until everyone is chased out ,then the big sale and finally fix the problem !
The old Goldwing design is just so cool, the futuristic concept that people back in the 80s came up with really lives to today. The more rectangular body design just looks so classic, and yet at the same time the front disk break cover plate feels so sporty and mean...

You get those motorcycle + sidecar that have been converted into a hearse. I think that would make a perfect starting point for a motorcycle camper
It’s also super interesting watching him fix it
Better than Saturday morning cartoons!
😮
This isn’t a cartoon .. it’s a biketoon !
@@bored2323do you have kids by chance? 😂😂
As a kid who woke up at 7:30am on Saturdays, I say it’s close but not quite there. 😆
Evening y'all
You guys had me feeling every emotion on this trip. Thank you for making motorcycling fun again!
When was motorcycling ever _not_ fun?
That Wing-abego with extending section was a nice piece of engineering. As someone else in the comments mentioned; having that setup as a trailer with some added support legs for the extension portion would make a decent camper option!
Yes!
think mounting it on a sidecarframe would work
With 300k touring miles in the saddle, I've ridden through some sketchy weather and road conditions, but nothing as sketchy as Ari's terrifying battle with the cross winds.
Zack and Ari are just absolutely fantastic story tellers and hosts. Always make time for their adventures!
That suzuki setup is absolutely amazing. The gold wing was a good attempt but I couldn't see anyone actually using that. I feel like combining the 2 together and pulling the popup with the gold wing would be the ideal situation.
I could see that. The Goldwing has plenty of power and with that camper set up, you could throw a passenger on and go.
@@highball5550 He could of made it a pop up instead of solid on the Goldwing. Would of helped with visibility, weight and crosswind.
This was incredible to watch, its so beautifully filmed and edited, its really like Top Gear and I love that!
Also, the Wing-Ebago body on a trailer chassis would be a great revision of a motorbike motorhome, best of both worlds.
Dave’s trailer u-turn was awesome. 😂 Also shoutout to the film crew for the awesome shots. Production value 💯
Had a camper trailer just like that 1, after a year, I bought the Roller Home, twice the floor space, big difference, still have it.
The trailer looks totally practical.
I don't know why but it's just cool seeing these guys solve those problems.
what a lean angle for riding on a 'straight' line with these crosswinds haha. another great movie guys!
Always love these two guys together. Zak and Ari just produce some genuine and wholesome content. Thanks gents
Everybody wishes they had a friendship like this. Love the content guys, your road trips together are the epitome of living the dream 😁
These two grew up together and stayed friends together till now. I also wish I had a friend like this. Sad.
They never went off script even once, this is the fakest relationship I've ever seen
@stellviahohenheim why do you say their relationship is fake ???
Take care.
Really liked the idea of the wing-ebago as silly as it is 😂, although the crosswinds were really scary, maybe it would be slightly better if the top of the camper could be folded flat as well so it doesn't catch the wind too much
I agree. Maybe as an enclosed side car it work better on the road. Not so top heavy, and more stabillity thanks to 3 wheels.
@@marcheida2819 It would be absolutely amazing as a sidecar, also wouldn't need to have the outriggers!
The entertainment value alone of CTXP is off the charts. Great job guys!!
Idk.
It's always going to act like a sail in a way
I hope somehow, someway, you guys continue to go on these adventures for decades to come and continue to share them with us.
That Wing-ebego is monstrous. I guess i should make a motorcycle camping video...yours is amazing!
The legit look of fear on Ari's face in the crosswind...😳
There is nothing like the feeling that the bike is going to come out from under you in a crosswind on the freeway.
@@jeff7.629 amen. I've had that even reasonable wind speeds and not with a literal sail on the back
I can't tell you how much I look forward to you guys next "BIG ADVENTURE" y'all just blow me away with your amazing riding skills and perseverance under the worst conditions , I'm 74 , been riding since I was 10 , have held AMA licences in 6 different disciplines and just bought a KLX300 but I got nuthin' on you two !
Excellent content guys! Please don't stop making these type of series.🏍️
These friends were so fun to watch- even in the midst of freezing onitions/mechanical issues and topple over wing ebago mishaps they held their cool and positivity! enjoyable video. TY
Love these “Top Gear” type challenges. More please!
Really that looked like so much fun. Much too old to try that now , but if I was 60 years younger 😂. Keep up your fun travels.
Nothing makes me smile like Zack's laugh when these guys are doing something amazing!!
This episode was a riot and definitely a throwback to the hilarity that was Throttle Out. Good on ya, RevZilla, for continuing to carry the Zack and Ari moto adventure torch!
Admiration from a "European Tourist here", great fun video, loved every minute, regards from Ireland ☘
There is so much to love about this episode, Your spirit, creativity, and ingenuity. But what I love most is that you all made it home safe! Thank you for providing such great content. Its fun to see RevZilla produce great content. Ari and Zack are the best!
For those who have never done so, riding a big bike in a heavy crosswind is no joke.
Definitely there’s been times I’ve had to stay put. Heavy winds are nojoke
I hope you guys revisit this and try it again. One of the greatest motorcycle vids I’ve seen in awhile! If ya do give it a whirl try to pick a different starting location not known for wind
That spinning the Suzuki around on the stand was impressive Zack !
This is motorcycle entertainment/knowledge at it's peak, love what you guys have been doing all these years.
I couldn't imagine working for the winds on that because I know that just having like solid disc wheels can cause you to blow all over the road
I really like these two guys and their motorcycle adventures
These two guys are the reason I subscribed to this channel years ago, and they never disappoint
Awesome Video! I been on the road for 5 years full time on a Motorcycle pulling and living in a camper trailer.
okay but the wing-ebago is kind of a cool idea. do it up with aluminum and lightweight insulation instead of the wood and fiberglass and it would probably be fairly workable..... i might need a goldwing now haha.
You all make some of the best motorcycle content I've ever seen. Thanks for your hard work and sacrifice and great sense of humor that makes these so special.
You guys are the Top Gear of Two Wheels bloody brilliant
Cheers from New Zealand
You are the first person that I've heard saying what I suspect in these cities . Make things horrible until everyone is chased out ,then the big sale and finally fix the problem !
The old Goldwing design is just so cool, the futuristic concept that people back in the 80s came up with really lives to today. The more rectangular body design just looks so classic, and yet at the same time the front disk break cover plate feels so sporty and mean...
Just bought my first bike a week ago. I love the channel. Super entertaining and educational when your bikes break down. Keep up the good work boys!
Nov 29 0115 in bed w two cats warm in Maine...watching your awesome story. Loved your adventure. Be safe and thanks for sharing!!
Always gets better with Zack and Ari, what a fun adventure with so many crazy antics
I'm 6 minutes in, and I just keep thinking how much I love you guys for the content you produce, and the attitude, aptitude, and personality that you bring to that content. You two rock! Thank you!
Glad you two made it to your destination safely. I used to ride motorcycle and now I own two Vintage VESPA Scooters. I can't wrap my head around a "second-seat" moto-camper! Impressive is an understatement for sure 👍 👏. I gasped more than a few times watching this video! I'll stay with my big Motorcoach and my VESPA SCOOTERS but YOU'RE BRAVE there's no denying that! CONGRATS 👏 👏 👏 🥠🥠🎉🎊👍.
NEVER STOP MAKING THIS SERIES W/ ZACK AND ARI
its my top gear substitute since the series lost richard james and jeremy!

XD guys. This could have been achieved with some tents that don't require that much rigging. XD fun video as always.
This is absolutely nuts.
@@ralphwarom2514 Their Sports Utility Cycle (SUC) would've perhaps been a better basis for a motorhome construction.
Probably should have opened the windows on the wingabago for the crosswinds
next challenge do this on super hard mode build a camper a honda navi can haul
09/23/23 Not a motorcycle person at all but.... your video was sooooooooo CAPTIVATING that I couldnt stop watching it from minute to minute and was sad to see it End, sighs. OUTSTANDING video... made me want to go camping LOL. You both definitely know HOW to keep your audience interested in every aspect of the trip. again OUTSTANDING and INFORMATIVE video!!!! Great job!
Watching your crazy adventure videos has got to be one of my favorite things on UA-cam. Watching you tough it out through your situations and carry on is definitely inspiring if you're feeling a little wimpy about a day out in "tough" conditions. Thanks for doing what you do!!!
The Wing a bago just needs an axle and hitch, it wouldn't be much more expensive and it would be a great little build. Good job guys, awesome content 👍
I drug a Kwik Kamp around for 15 years. I had a 1990 Goldwing SE with a dolly between the trailer and bike. It kept the tongue weight off the bike. Made for traveling a lot easier.
Another amazing adventure! I love watching Zach and Ari do these rides together.
Zack and Ari NEVER disappoint with these episodes 😂
Interest from real live Europeans😂
Y’all be banishing our anxiety and depression with your antics
Thank you lads
As long as Revzilla keeps you guys making content I'll keep buying stuff from them
Amen. I am wondering if Ari had engineered his as a pop top, if it would not have made a world of difference.
Me too, I got my Bluetooth stereo system from them.
I wish I had a best friend that wanted to go on a crazy adventure like this.
My motorcycle camping setup is 4 bags: 1 is a four person tent, 2 is pillows and bedsheets, 3 is clothes and 4 is empty so I can buy weird shit wherever I end up.
Definitely need more top gear style road trip videos by you guys!! Loved the side car racing, Wyoming and Alaska trips! Love the old bike journeys lol
You really explore every imaginable facet of having fun on a motorcycle. All of the episodes are amazing, this might be the best one yet!
Man when things don’t go to plan the lads truly keep it so positive and they always find a way to fix it n make it happen / I’m blown away by both of ya
Such good lads and very entertaining and knowledgeable
Well done ! May both your lives be blessed for allll time
Yet another quality and entertaining CTXP episode from Zach and Ari!! Keep up the great work fellas, looking forward to the next one !
