  • I made this live edge Black Walnut coffee table from logs that came from the beautiful Forks of Salmon in the north tip of California. I show how this table was created from the very beginning of loading the logs to the finished piece. I greatly enjoy the entire process from the start of a log to working the wood into a piece of beautiful furniture that will enhance the beauty of a room.

Hey Bud, I cannot really find the words to tell you how very happy and proud I am of you, and for you, that you have truly found your perfect gift and passion. From the very first oak table you made for me in high school to everything you design and create now, I see pure love and appreciation for the beautiful woods of the earth. And for you to take a gnarly old log and see such beauty in it, I know for sure as you told me one time, that the wood speaks to you. To see your hands working hard and so meticulously, and then gliding along a smooth stunning piece of art is beyond joyful for me. This is more than beautiful. I love you son

perfect aplication of less is more.your design is just stunning.
and the same for me, it never gets old to see the grain being reveild after the first coat.

Thank you very much! I appreciate that you like the legs. I nice reveal on certain joints is a nice way to accentuate the transition of certain differing elements of a design. The first coat is my favorite part, and my daughter loves to watch the first coat being put on as well. A thin piece of veneer is a great way to make a big radius with 3 points. I have some projects coming up that are in the works. Thank you again for your kind compliment.

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate that, and it means a lot to me! Breaking into the UA-cam realm has been a new thing for me since last year, but I'm hoping it really takes off. Woodworking is my passion amongst other things like music. I have a lot of projects coming up in the works, I just have to organize it all, lol. Keep in touch, and I look forward to hearing from you.
