A lot of the YT videos I watch are more background noise than anything else, and I play Solitaire while I'm - er- playing them. But when I put on a Blacktail Studio vid I'm absorbed from start to finish 😁
Cam...15 or 30 or 45 if needed to get what you feel is enough to get all the important things of the build. There are times for each length of video, and you and your woodworking make it easy to watch a longer vid as well as a shorter vid. Keep up the awesome content!
Jordan Bock I totally agree. Great projects and loving the table Cam. Will you make chairs or benches to go with ? I am appalled by the price of raw wood. I am a fan of oddly shaped off cuts which can include the bark like used to be found in old type woodyards which always had a huge heap of pieces which were inexpensive which you could trample over and move stuff around to find what you wanted. The old guy who owned it a mine of info about types of wood and what was best for the thing you were making. We lose expertise and knowledge every day sadly. We need your channel badly - a bit of a poem ! 🤗 🦩
Cam, I enjoy the way you make your videos... No shop noise, just an informative, sometimes spicy, voiceover. I'm happy with 30+ minutes... Very satisfying. 😌😆
Hey, ladies. There are lots of women out there that are excellent woodworkers! It's a hobby that anyone can enjoy. I'm a 78 year old woman & I love wood working. Find a class - learn the basics & safety with power tools. There is no limit to what you can create!
CAM, 30 minutes can be a drag when they just overlay music, and so on. Your videos tell a story, and I never skip around. Even if I have to pause and come back later, I watch the videos 50% to see your craftsmanship/ learn new tricks, and 50% to hear you tell the story of each piece. Thanks for all the hard work, and that Nikon is sharp!
Cam 30 mins up to 45 mins is great - it's the content that matters! I have zero interest in woodworking but I very much enjoy watching talented people do their thing!
Cam, finally, someone who makes a video without annoying background music. Just a good voice explaining what he is doing and why. I have seen videos where the background music is louder that the voice of the person talking. Awesome work. Your tables look amazing and I love the process you go through. I also work alone when doing projects, so its interesting to see how you do some heavier things. Love the leaves. Trying to get a seam in wood to look like it isn't there is almost impossible. You did a perfect job. As for the length of your videos, I have ADD and can't concentrate for too long, but your content is educational and very interesting, so a 30 minute video is perfect.
Cam, 30-45 minutes is about all my husband can watch without dosing off (He made it thru this one!). However, you keep the content moving and give the info woodworker’s need if they want to try something similar. We enjoy watching you work your creative magic!
Cam, I'm not a woodworker, but I truly appreciate the beauty of your work. The length of a video isn't an issue for me as long as there is good content as in this video. Keep up the good work...I'll continue to admire what I see. Thanks.
CAM. watching this 2 years later. I keep my videos to about 18 minutes. My audience is high school kids and their parents. What makes your videos shine in is the story telling and the timbre of your voice. You explain what you are doing. The captions are nice too.
Cam, I could watch this for several hours at a time. My favorite part is the finish. But everything to that point and after is amazing to watch. You explain very well. Thank you.
Cam - I’m mesmerized whether your video is 15 min, 30 min, or 45! Your work is amazing - your pieces are art. And you are very entertaining as well as educational to listen to. Wishing you and your family all the best and I’ll keep watching to see what you come up with next!
Sam, I normally am not into longer, over 20 minutes uploads on UA-cam, but time does fly when I'm watching yours; so no worries. Keep them as long as you believe they need to be. Peace
I have been a general contractor for over 30 years, and a rank amateur furniture builder forever. Wood is my thing. In my opinion you are a true artist and I enjoy the hell out of your videos. For that reason I prefer the longer videos. Hope to have nice tools and a shop like yours one day. Flip Flops in the shop?? Might not be safe but it sure has Style!!
At 57 years old and having put together a pretty nice shop where I’ve done a little bit of everything for 35 yrs, I find myself not so excited anymore. Your videos remind me what can still be done. Thanks for the inspiration
Cam: I love the longer content! Also the life lesson: “don’t practice till you get it right, practice till you can’t get it wrong”. Fantastic advice. Forse from Hong Kong (occasional wooden boat and electric guitar builder)
You are like a project therapist for me because you humbly point out any mistakes, and you do a talk-through of any challenges or obstacles you overcome. This reminds me to try to be patient with myself, and is helping me overcome challenges. And Im not even a woodworker.....I make custom build bicycles. The psychology works for any kind of project....possibly even life itself.
I’m a retired tradesman that appreciates the details artistic construction. For me it’s entertainment. So make your videos as long as necessary to tell the creative story. This was fascinating.
Cam, I've seen short and lengthy woodworking videos that equally add unnecessary / lack necessary shots and explanations. Yours are always fun to watch and give a great amount of instruction. Well done.
cam, I've only been watching your videos for like a month, The length is not important because you don't repeat yourself and you have a great way to get into every detail. perfect job, perfect content keep it up !!!!!!
i was also about to say the exact same thing as Arthur but basically, the content length does not matter to me. I think you get the info across very well.
Cam, I'm watching on a computer and not a TV, but I'm still looking for longer content like you said. Sometimes I want 5-minute bits, but there's plenty of that out there too...I most definitely have time for half hour segments as well.
Cam, you’re the creator (mentor). If you make it interesting then it’s great to watch. Thank you for showing us everything including the mistakes, it helps us under stand the enormity of your jobs and what we have to keep in mind when we do these things our selves. Keep it up and thanks!!
Cam, that part where you're finishing the beam that slots into the steel legs - I love that. When the colour and grain come up like magic. Point 2: Your garden/entrance is beautiful.
@Praise Jesus, Repent or Likewise Perish I often find that those that preach and speak to the wrath of god being brought down on others are often the one’s who sin the most. Is that true for you? Why do you find the need to preach passages of the Bible in forms that are not appropriate for such content?
Cam, I just discovered your channel a couple hours ago and have watched maybe 3 of your videos so far and I am super impressed. I worked as a carpenter for 10 years and only did one live edge project in that time. Your patience and insistence on making it right is what sets you apart from other woodworkers. Your passion bleeds through and it is quite entertaining and wholesome. 10/10, will watch more videos.
Cam, 20-30 minutes is great but I don’t know where too long is because you still haven’t bored me yet. I most admire your willingness to take on tasks that require new skills and/or have a serious chance of disaster. I don’t er want to see the disaster, but as someone who takes half an hour to make a box joint jig because I hate screwing up I can honestly say you are an inspiration.
Cam, 20-30 minutes is usually what I click most when I’m eating dinner or just relaxing in the evening, but it’s like they say about videos: size doesn’t matter. Lol. Great content and awesome work! Channels like yours got me into woodworking early in the pandemic and I’ve learned a lot from your videos. I’m halfway through my first epoxy project and I’d never have attempted it had I not happened across your channel a couple years ago. So, thank you!
Cam, I am not a woodworker, but I am a woodworker admirer. You do wonderful work and your narations are entertaining and informative. Make the videos as long as you need to to fully cover the build. That way those of us who are interested will not miss out on any details. Thanks so much and I look forward to many more of your videos!
Cam, 30 mins was fine for me. I'm just an old woman who enjoys refinishing my furniture. No link to what you do. But I love beautiful wood, and I enjoy your projects so much. Your voice is so relaxing, your work so precise, focused, fascinating, the finished object so breathtakingly stunning, I could probably watch an hour. Please don't ever stop the videos - they're so much more effective than drugs for achieving a zen state of mind.
Hi Cam, 20-30 minutes is good for me. This was a very pleasant break from my mundane routine. You have developed a tremendous skill set. I have a 1024 sq ft shop, so I am thinking I should start with some small projects to see if I have the right stuff. Trouble is, my old arthritic hands are not my friends anymore! Please keep the videos coming.
I is a craftsman over the years I’ve done things like that and as long as the client is happy and you were happy it’s all that matters if other people are skeptical of your work they can go sit on a tack!!! It is a very special and unique skill that takes time and a lot of patients that is acquired overtime and yes there is something is in the bloodline in the gene pool too that helps out😉
Cam, that moment at 20:24 is what people don't realize we battle through all too often. I always learn and get new ideas from your videos that go into my project notes as I plan my next shop project.
CAM- I'm from Brazil and I'm watching your videos, and I think your tables are very beautiful, they really do perfect work, I wish I could do the same, your projects are fantastic. Some videos can be even longer than 40 minutes, as I never get tired of watching them.
I just finished sawing out some live edge slabs on my sawmill and now your video is in my suggested list. I like how you explain every detail as you work. I like that a lot. Thanks. I saw out the slabs and watch people like you as I dream of doing such a thing but probably never will. Its nice to see the end results of the sawyers labors tho.
Cam, the longer content format is new to me but works really well, especially watching on a television. Thanks your humility is part of your winning formula. You deserve every success.
Cam, As a schoolboy in Wales, I did not pursue woodwork because I wanted to leave school with a full complement of digits on each hand. I am abysmally clumsy, and wholly without practical ability. For me, DIY is destroy it yourself. Your dexterity, your confident use of equipment and your problem-solving capabilities are truly worthy of admiration. Watching you work is fascinating. Your often amusing and always enlightening commentary is also enviable. Marvellous!
CAM, when it comes to wood working, the timing of the videos would be this long. The process of engaging your audience makes a big difference. Your presentation, tone, and pitch are great. The time actually flew by quickly. Many thanks!
CAM, I am a vicarious viewer! I love the results and "wish" I had the talent to do it like you do ...so, watching you get there is awesome 👍 entertainment. Love your style!
I couldn't have put it any better. Myself being disabled I do need to take long breaks throughout my day and I appreciate you for your content. I'm nore of a car need but appreciate perfect cuts and craftsmanship. Thank you
CAM, the number of people ACTUALLY engaging in your videos is unreal to me! I didn’t even see anyone that took any bait. If you know what I mean 😉 you motivated me to start on my first woodworking project. Love the content no matter how long
Cam, I’m never tired of watching your videos …30 minutes is great…I love seeing the process involved to turn out beautiful art work. Congratulations and keep up the journey.
Cam, I appreciate the longer video because it gives not only a more intricate deep dive into the detail of the project, but a better view and understanding of its duration. Shorter videos (5-20 minutes can at times make it look "easy" or omit key steps in the process.
Cam, i'm an amateur woodworker who aspire to, one day, live from this work. The moment you realized you cut the extension wrong, i felt it in my gut. Even when you measure once, twice, thrice, mistakes happens. When i do it, i feel furious with myself, and i tend to abandon what i'm doing, to never come back. But you said "i bit my tongue a little bit, took a walk around, and then came back and did it the right way". These words reached me. They made me realize it's ok to make mistakes, you just need to take a deep breath and start over. Thanks for your videos!
Cam, You are the creator and a 30-40 minute video is not to long at all when you are getting a good description of whats being made and all the steps to get the look you were going for. Very inspiring, keep up the great work!
What a treat!. I'm 76 years old and for 30 years, like you, worked for myself in my wood shop. This was after my stint in the Navy and earning a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art. What a pleasure to see and individual take on learning the skills and coming to understand the language of wood. I was able to sustain a wife and 2 children until Reagan's recession. Knowing I had to change professionsI went back to school and became a radiation therapy technologist. I still managed to do some woodwork for old clients with hand power tools and now due to arthritis only small items for the grandchildren. You are doing beautiful and innovative work, the joy of it will carry through your whole life. I occasionally see pieces I made years ago and they still look great and make me happy.
Cam, I don't mind the longer videos. I believe if a person (like myself) genuinely likes you and your content they'll stay and watch. You do amazing work. I am a blacksmith / bladesmith and I find myself wanting to incorporate what I do with what you do. So, thank you!
Cam, Well ~ I just wanna say that your videos are probably one of the best things for my depression. I'm only 18 and yet I have already embarked on a woodworking journey and I won't ever regret it! Please never stop and don't ever let people criticize you on your taste or style of achieving your goals!!! Legend!
@@johnbossley4810 thanks so kuch John - it really does help and even tho I still get critized now and again because of the way I do woodwork - it still helps me get through the darkest of days! Cheers!
Cam, I am so glad I found your channel. To watch someone create art has no time limit, and if they are also teaching well, that's even better. It is a gorgeous piece keep doing you.
Cam, don't try to stick to any specific time. Take all the time you feel you need. We are here to learn. I personally don't want to miss anything. Thank you for what you do and how you do it.
I prefer long, well-explained content rather than rushed content. You can see that you do a very good job, it's well-polished. I like that for that reason and you explain well. It doesn't matter if the video takes a long time or is long. The important thing is that you explain well and show excellent work. Please excuse the translation as I speak Spanish. Thank you very much for the video, it teaches me a lot. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. C.A.M. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻✨🌟🌟✨💯💯💯
Cam, as an Alabamian living in Ireland, watching a guy in Oregon build these masterpieces, I was pleasantly surprised to hear you quote Coach Saban. Amazing work, and Roll Tide
Cam! Love everything you do. Honest about everything and showing mistakes makes for great content. 15 - 30min is a good range of time for these videos.
Cam, imo there's no need to make the videos shorter. I find them very relaxing and your content is of such high quality that I don't even think of skipping a part of the video. There's just a constant flow of interesting and useful information.
I totally agree with this. I am European and when I pass by clips/content made by Americans, they stretch the video desperately with nonsense. :D Cam is the first American I witness, whom shows and explains just the right things to keep you hooked the entire video, whatever the length of the video. Great work! One of the very rare occasions I subscribed, after barely seeing a few minutes of content.
Cam, as someone who is just learning, I appreciate watching each step and how they work. Thanks for sharing the highs and lows of each build. That wood is fantastic. What a great dining table.
Cam, I like the thirty minute format. Just as you noted, it allows you to provide more details on the process. That table is absolutely beautiful. I love black walnut. Wanted to make a black walnut countertop fir our kitchen island. Was overruled by management.
Cam, that is one beautiful piece! It really does humble me watching this and seeing what I do in my little woodshop (and no, 30 minutes is NOT too long for something like this, I certainly would not have wanted to miss any of this process). I like the bow-tie "stitches", something I will be adding to my arsenal in future jobs. Great job!
Cam, the longer videos are just fine, especially when you're covering things in such detail. Thanks for all your beautiful work, and the new Nikon rocks!
Cam, your work is fantastic. Retired contractor with over 35 years in on reconstruction work like fire rebuilds. Any way I wish your videos were around years ago. I am still learning things. Your videos are great. I would watch them at any length because of content. I don't care much for tv shows any more. I enjoy lots of stuff on UA-cam and came across your videos on my phone then project them to the flat screen. I can see much more detail on the TV 30 mins to short. 45 to. 60 mins is good. Even over a hour is good. You can always save it and finish it later if needed. Keep them coming.
You are really good at this, man. Not just the woodworking, but the story-telling and the way you engage the viewers. I'm not a wood-worker aside from an occasional project where I "cut until it fits, sand until it's flat", but I watched every second of this on a rainy Sunday and I felt as if you were talking to me. I plan to build a desk - which is why I watched in the first place - and I am very glad I did. Bravo.
Cam, As long you feel they need to be. You covered a whole lot of detail, and when it's interesting I could keep watching ;) Incredible table by the way, ..Wow! Love the motto, ..."Don't practice until you get it right, Practice until you can't get it wrong"
60 minutes is not too long when you’re actually teaching us, which is why I’m here !!! Absolutely gorgeous table, but for myself, I would ask for the bow ties to be on the bottom and I “think” I would actually live with an uneven surface as opposed to the inlays … after all, the tree and all its imperfections is part of the beauty of natural beauty !!! Your Nikon filming is excellent !!!
Cam, I'm not a wood-worker; actually, I'm a dentist. Like you, I watch UA-cam for educational purposes, and I just want to say that I think your work is fabulous! I applaud your critical thinking and problem-solving skills as you create your masterpieces. Keep up the good work and the excellent tutorials.
This channel has become such a habitual thing for me at work. I literally just sit and have your videos play while I work and love listening to the narration and the work being done in the background and its just so satisfying. Never stop man, love this content so much.
Cam, starting woodworking in my dads shop when I was just a little girl. I would be the 4 generation but have always felt intimidated to try on my own. I love that you share your success as well as your failures and how to fix them. that the only way I find that I can learn and not repeat the near mess ups or complete mess ups.
Cam, Please never stop showing the finishing process, watching the grain pop on all these pieces give me chills, I love the work you do. Regarding video length, This old house would never have worked in 3min episodes, and a cutting or charcuterie board video would almost never work at 30min, your videos are perfect, we get to see the full process and the finished product with the few happy accidents thrown in.
Cam, I absolutely appreciate the extended versions. Anybody interested in such stuff is of course interested in all the small details, be it only to say „Oh look, this guy somtimes has the same problems I have“ curious how these will be fixed. So I‘d say, the more detailed the better. Thanks for your efforts, I‘ll stay tuned.
Cam, wonderful as always. I actually watch UA-cam for entertainment as well and the longer videos are really great to watch while I'm cleaning or cooking or working. I especially like watching good craftsmen be good at their trade, so I'm all into this.
Cam...my husband Don loves wood working and we love watching your videos. We don't think 30 minute video is too long. We love all the information you share and love how humble you are. Keep up the good work.
@@JohnDotBomb I just left a comment on another woodworkers channel saying pretty much the same thing. It depends on the content but 30mins is about what i'm comfortable with as well. There's other channels i want to watch and i only have X amount of time to spend watching UA-cam videos per night. I'd rather see shorter videos more often rather than a long one every now and then.
Cam, I absolutely love watching your creations come to life. To me, there is no "upper limit" of how long a video can be because shortening them removes valuable content. NO other material, not even the finest marble matches the pure beauty of a unique piece of wood. I've built a guitar or two, and figured walnut is my own personal favorite species of wood to build with, although I've used bubinga, cocobolo, maple and bloodwood at times as well. One last item: thanks for turning me on to the Rubio Monocoat. It really makes the beauty of the grain "pop".
Cam, I have always believed that this type of video takes as long as it takes. As long as you are not being to repetitive and the content continues to be informative and interesting then I have no issues with anything under a hour. I personally would rather have a longer video with lots of information and content than getting to the end wishing for more. The 30 minute seems to be about right but if it takes 45 minutes to get all the content covered then by all means do it. Most everyone watching is very interested in see the project come together. I like that you do not show 15 minutes of sanding just to create video length. The few I have watched so far has been on point with content and length of time. Keep up the excellent work sir, job well done. Also, continue to narrate the videos please. If I wanted music I have channels for that.
Cam, these video’s are so cool and I think making them 30 minutes is a plus for all of us that are interested in woodworking! I’ve been retired for 10 years, and while I might not get into making huge tables like you just did, I am inspired to start some projects!
Cam, I don't think I've ever commented on your videos, but I'm always impressed and inspired by your work, both the early ones and your recent experimental projects. 30:14 is perfect for me 😉, as is 25:00 and even 45:00, especially when the content consistently reflects your creative vision, skill, your running commentary (I learn tons) and wry humour. Yep, that's the way humour is spelt in Australia. Thanks for your fricking magic!
@@wynelleu I don't think we sell them here in Australia. I checked on their site and the spelling is 'humor' anyhow, as it's an American company 😃 Are they nice?
Cam, this didn't even feel like 30 minutes. I normally like quick to the point videos but the visuals and transitions were great so I loved it. Great job.
Cam, I watched the entire video and I want you to know you are right when you say, "It should be as long as it needs to be". Pretty simple math really. This is your favorite table and I can see why. It is so beautiful. You keep apologizing for this or that and honestly, why? You are a master at your craft and you have every right to do things your way. There will always be haters and a lot of that hate comes from envy. You have earned the right to feel proud of your work. It wasn't handed to you. You earned it - and this was after a few years serving our country. No apologies. Love you my brother.
I saw the apologies as humility. The table, the techniques shared (including video capture and editing) were all worthwhile. Nothing to feel apologetic about and definitely a right to feel proud of your work and your willingness to share with others. Really incredible all the way around.
Cam, a 30 minute video is totally acceptable for a project like this so that every one of the many steps is covered or at least touched on. Thanks for the video and the camera did an excellent job!
because of you i got started posting video on my channel one year ago aan i am sure Im not the only one you are so inspiring man although you talk as much as my radio at least is interesting the talk i am so happy that i found your channel few years ago i hope that i will be as good as you one day. Keep going with your projects so much to learn for them ! Thanks 😊
Cam you're 100% right on the entertainment side of what youtube has become. I really enjoy the 20-30 minute video style, they're great to put on while eating dinner and I mostly watch you channel on the TV. Fantastic work as always! I'm in Portland as well so I'll be sure to check out Creative Woodworking next time I need something big done, thought I'm not there just yet.
Cam, your craftsmanship is just a joy to watch so the “correct” length of video is whatever you feel is necessary for less talented people like me to understand what you’re doing. Keep up the good work!
Cam, love the videos and the coaching you do throughout. I don’t mind the longer videos… I agree with your comment that if the content is there, and there are important steps to discuss, the video should include them. I’ve got a Parota slab that I’m looking to build a table with in the next year or two. Ramping my knowledge before I take that on!

I am 83 years old and on a wheel chair in young days liked working with wood , i find your
wood work very good and entertaining, thank you
Cam, the length of the video makes it feel personal, immersive and detailed
You are like a project therapist for me because you humbly point out any mistakes, and you do a talk-through of any challenges or obstacles you overcome. This reminds me to try to be patient with myself, and is helping me overcome challenges. And Im not even a woodworker.....I make custom build bicycles. The psychology works for any kind of project....possibly even life itself.
I like that...project therapist.
I’m a retired tradesman that appreciates the details artistic construction. For me it’s entertainment. So make your videos as long as necessary to tell the creative story. This was fascinating.
Cam, he loves the details.
CAM. I agree whole heartedly
i was also about to say the exact same thing as Arthur but basically, the content length does not matter to me. I think you get the info across very well.
Cam, I also agree. Short ones are nice, but the longer ones have more content, so they are fine too!
Ya man!
Cam, that part where you're finishing the beam that slots into the steel legs - I love that. When the colour and grain come up like magic. Point 2: Your garden/entrance is beautiful.
I personally like the longer content as long as the content is informative. Table looks great.
Cam…30 minutes + is fine by me! You made the inlays look so easy. This piece is a unique, one of a kind beauty.
agree but all character type wood id a one of that’s what makes them all one offs just some more than others👍🏽
@Praise Jesus, Repent or Likewise Perish I often find that those that preach and speak to the wrath of god being brought down on others are often the one’s who sin the most. Is that true for you? Why do you find the need to preach passages of the Bible in forms that are not appropriate for such content?
Cam, 25-30 min is perfect. I like the Nikon, sure makes a difference.
Cam, you have mad skills! Take your time, tell your story, we will watch.
Glad you watched all the way to the end!!!! It was a great video 😂
I is a craftsman over the years I’ve done things like that and as long as the client is happy and you were happy it’s all that matters if other people are skeptical of your work they can go sit on a tack!!! It is a very special and unique skill that takes time and a lot of patients that is acquired overtime and yes there is something is in the bloodline in the gene pool too that helps out😉
I agree 100%
@Hello Paul how are you doing
Cam, As a schoolboy in Wales, I did not pursue woodwork because I wanted to leave school with a full complement of digits on each hand. I am abysmally clumsy, and wholly without practical ability. For me, DIY is destroy it yourself.
Your dexterity, your confident use of equipment and your problem-solving capabilities are truly worthy of admiration. Watching you work is fascinating. Your often amusing and always enlightening commentary is also enviable.
Marvellous!
Kinda wild to go back and watch some of your videos that are a few years old now, and see just how much has changed and just how far you've come.
CAM, when it comes to wood working, the timing of the videos would be this long. The process of engaging your audience makes a big difference. Your presentation, tone, and pitch are great. The time actually flew by quickly. Many thanks!
Mercado, you're right... Couldn't have said it better.
Cam yeah I agree. Well said R. Mercado.
Legend!
hi, as i have found out, woodturning is a good help for depression, just start with small things and see how it goes, all the best.
Cam, longer videos are totally fine because every second of this one was really satisfying and informative. No bs, just quality content
I’m very glad that we still have people like you with the skills and dedication to make a masterpiece work of art!
Your level of detail and expertise makes the time spent watching it a non-issue.
Cam, as an Alabamian living in Ireland, watching a guy in Oregon build these masterpieces, I was pleasantly surprised to hear you quote Coach Saban. Amazing work, and Roll Tide
Forget he went east after Baton Rouge…. Geaux Tigers! 😉
Cam! Love everything you do. Honest about everything and showing mistakes makes for great content. 15 - 30min is a good range of time for these videos.
Cam, I like the longer content that’s targeted to each project. That’s what I want to learn from. Thank you!
Cam is the first American I witness, whom shows and explains just the right things to keep you hooked the entire video, whatever the length of the video.
Cam, amazing table and I don't think your videos could ever be long enough, your level of commitment to your craft is to be commended.
It’s never long enough. I can watch talented people like yourself for hours.
I can see much more detail on the TV
30 mins to short. 45 to. 60 mins is good. Even over a hour is good. You can always save it and finish it later if needed.
Keep them coming.
Cam, the perfect length is the length you need. Love the long ones!
That's what she said
You are really good at this, man.
I do like your long form content a lot. It’s so much more enjoyable to get all the trials and ways you solve problems, thank you
This channel has become such a habitual thing for me at work.
10-45 minutes. Whatever is necessary. This was another great one from you. The table is gorgeous! Awesome work. Thanks for posting.
Cam, I absolutely appreciate the extended versions. Anybody interested in such stuff is of course interested in all the small details, be it only to say „Oh look, this guy somtimes has the same problems I have“ curious how these will be fixed. So I‘d say, the more detailed the better.
Thanks for your efforts, I‘ll stay tuned.
appreciate
@@ronaldpreston913 merci !!!🙏🏻
You DEFINITELY earned my subscription and not from today . Probably one of the best guys teaching on UA-cam
Cam, as far as I'm concerned, the longer the better.
Nah, I like my pants short
...oh, video length? I don't mind long videos. 10-30 min is probably my comfort zone though
@Dinar Chat Voted #1 by Dinarians I was 6 days late
Cam, I absolutely love watching your creations come to life. To me, there is no "upper limit" of how long a video can be because shortening them removes valuable content. NO other material, not even the finest marble matches the pure beauty of a unique piece of wood. I've built a guitar or two, and figured walnut is my own personal favorite species of wood to build with, although I've used bubinga, cocobolo, maple and bloodwood at times as well. One last item: thanks for turning me on to the Rubio Monocoat. It really makes the beauty of the grain "pop".
I honestly love how authentic your videos are when you film, everything is genuinely how you see it!
CAM I stumbled across one of your videos one day and since then I have been addicted to them. I like the longer videos because they show more
Cam that patchwork wood looks really cool. 15-30 minutes as long as you complete the video the length should what the video calls for.
I kinda wanna see him make a table completely out of dove tail thingies and patchwork now
I’ve wanted to do a patchwork table for a while now
@@BlacktailStudio I used to call my patches Dutchmans, not sure if its correct but it sounds good and I can upcharge for the fancy feature. 🤣
Isn't that the same as Good Humour ice cream bars?
