    I love to "cut" my buns/rolls with unflavored Dental Floss or Crochet Thread- I stick the thread under the roll, cross the thread, then cuts perfect without flattening- now you make me wanna make sticky buns again 😋

    Love your no-knead recipes. Sometimes I have a hankering for sweet buns but I'm too lazy to do manual kneading, I don't have a stand-up mixer yet, so thanks for this!

    *I HAVE MADE THESE AT LEAST a dozen times, and they turn out EVERY time! The trick is follow the weight in the recipe, it seems the quantities are a bit different than by cups etc.. THANK YOU my whole life Ive tried to make these and they have never been good, once I couldnt get them out of the pan, another time they became the boys hockey pucks.. I almost gave up forever. THANK YOU*

    After dealing with numerous sorts of delicate enriched doughs (brioche, milk breads, etc) some unsuccessful too..
    Making this baby was unbelievably easy and breezy !!! It's the no muss no fuss kind of dough that I've been needing in my life.. thank u Gemma... You're super awesome 🤍🖤
    P.s. and the rolls turned out a hit on first attempt :)))

    No matter what I do, the buns stick to my pan. I've tried heavily greasing, using different kinds of pans - nothing works. The caramel sticks to the bottom and the buns just won't come out. Help :(

      Did you turn it over while the buns are still warm? The sticky buns will stick when they've cooled down

    Hi gemma. i tried your no-knead dough for cinnamon. but just as I was about to refrigerate it, I noticed it smelled like alcohol or almost sour. May I know what went wrong? thanks! :)

      You were smelling the yeast! this is the natural smell of the fermentation of the yeast. It is not alcohol, it is really carbon dioxide, it is the science of baking. Do not use more yeast than you need for the recipe :)

      one of my favorite dip is just ketchub and orange juice , Mix it 1=1 and ad salt, Pepper and other spices you like, I know it sounds not that good but it's really Delicious! :)

      Averyj Sticky buns have a caramelized top and doesn't have a cream cheese frosting, cinnamon rolls don't have a caramelized top, just a dry top, but then covered with cream cheese frosting.

      Aside from the difference in the glaze and process of making it, sticky buns has a more enriched bread compared to cinnamon rolls. Sticky buns usually have sugar glazes, while cinnamon rolls can be plain or with a cream cheese frosting.

    I love sticky buns!!! My pastry chef at school makes the best maple sticky buns and they are a huge hit! My high school is a vocational school so my shop is culinary :) I like to cook but i LOVE to bake!!

    Great recipe; my very first sticky buns ended up surprisingly delicious thanks to these instructions. I must add that I had some leftover dough which I used for apple turnovers; it worked great, and turnovers were delicious as well. I think this dough could be used in several dishes and an excellent alternative for pies crusts. Thanks for the video!!!

    can i use gluten free flour?

      The problem is that yeast baking tends to rely on gluten for a good result. I am not a GF specialist, but i do know that there are a number of good Gf sites out there who may have agood suggestion for you. I am tempted to say all purpose gf flour, but i am not sure about it for this recipe :)

    My great grandma used a thread to cut. Just slide it under the roll, cross the ends over and pull. It's my favorite way to cut because it's sooo easy!

    Yesterday I decided to try this good looking buns, so I did all and keep it in the fridge like 24hrs. I did the dough and in the meanwhile put the mix of brown sugar, cinnamon and a lot of pecans in the microwave to soften. It turn out that I needed a 12" mold and wait exactly 40 minutes to taste the most delicious "sticky buns" in my life. The recipe is accurate and pretty easy to follow. Sorry my English is kind of rusty but hope you got the idea. I'm very happy tho, and not experienced baker. Thank you very much!

    GREAT recipe Gemma. I especially like the brown sugar/pecan technique, prior to baking in the bottom/sides of the pan.
    Usually the buns are baked and then a confectioners sugar mix/glaze it put over the top.
    I think your method puts these "over the top"

    Hii Gemma..tried this awesome receipe yesterday..had to do some modifications..substituted butter with ghee in dressing as ran out of butter..and pecans with almond and walnut..it turned out awesome. I dont hv oven, or microwave. Never thought of baking at home, but in quarantine times bbaking an u became my GO TO thing. I really love ur receipes. I shall buy oven once online delivery starts. Can u suggest me one..thanks n love

    If you can't get brown sugar but you can get molasses, 1 cup white sugar plus 1 1/2 Tbsp molasses is light brown sugar, or 3 Tbsp for dark. You can always modify it to taste!
