Here's a proper video showing off a new muffler. It shows you various perspectives regarding how it sounds. Cold start, pullaways, windows up/down, hard acceleration, etc. Hearing it this way better invites people to the idea of getting one themselves. In addition, it eliminates a lot of the curiosity that tends to linger when looking at typcial muffler videos that don't show very much.
It was your video that really made me want the Super 40 instead of 44, the 40 isn’t that loud, nice rumble at idle, and has a nice low end grunt. Just got mine installed and I love it, perfectly illustrated video man. 👍🏼
I like it... Sounds a little like my xj i just went from a straight pipe to a 50 series with a side dump its got some noise but a lot quieter just how i wanted
Just put one the same and couldn't done it without your video bud hey quick note that tick sound from what I see might be the flywheel screws loose had that on my 99 couldn't strand it hahah blessing bro ! 🤘🏼
nice & helpful video - I've a Magnaflow installed and I now think, your FlowMaster 40 has a better deep tone -- update: have a FMSuper 44 installed now, way better sound, a tad more deeper/throaty compared to your FM 40.
Carlos The Boss I bought this one Flowmaster 42443 40 Series... www.amazon.com/dp/B000182DME?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share . Not too bad of a drone but you’ll notice it. I daily my Jeep and it’s fine for me
Too bad that Flowmaster doesn't hide your engine knock sorry to break it to you.... unless that was a cold start and that was the infamous cold piston slap that the four liters are known for.... Are you the same guy that used to have a different name on UA-cam they made videos about his ZJ that was converted to a 5-speed?
Nope, not me. This engine has 250k miles, and I'm not putting any money into it. I have a backup motor with 110k miles waiting for this one to blow. Don't worry, I've got it figured out 👍

Have the FM S44 installed - nice deep tone and definitely louder and noticeable compared to my MagnaFlow I had before.
This is a really good video, I genuinely appreciate this

Got a link to the correct item?
so is this more quiet than a regular 40 series?
Deeper and not much louder than the original 40
Original 40 is much louder and sounds way better.
Only way to do it is a straight pipe with the XJ's. I have that exact same keep with a straight pipe waaaaay meaner!
Probably sounds like shit
Straight pipe sounds like farts
Straight pipe sounds like farts
So this is why you already know how to make videos...

It's not knocking lol
Literally a ton of jeeps do that mine(1998 w/ 200k) included.
Outlander 77 Ah, mine does that when she’s cold. It’ll keep on for a long time with that sound
I'm almost positive that what you heard was the quiet sound of the exhaust tapping somewhere along the way. Almost not even noticeable.
