I like how you always have a before and after. I’ve been debating on doing this myself but it’s hard to tell in most videos what the actual sound difference is. Great video and go buy that lottery ticket.😂😂
I run one of these on my ZJ 4.0 and love it. It's really loud outside but not too bad inside. Also that cat may or may not have fallen apart so that helps too.
The Cherry Bombs and glass packs in general take a while to wear in but they eventually get louder. You can take a hammer and hit the cherry bomb all over to help break it in.
Sounds 100% better. It's louder, but probably not loud enough to create a nasty resonance in the cab. It also doesn't have that stupid brassy metallic rasp that say, a 4-cylinder does. I'd say mission accomplished.
I see this video is 2 years old.. are you still running the cherry bomb in ur XJ? If so, are you still happy with it? Im thinking about doing the same to my XJ.
That is one rust free XJ you have there.

Thanks. And if I do win I’ll still make UA-cam videos, lol.
They are sweet! I had it on my 1993 and if you add cold intake to it. Mine was k&n those sounds pretty sweet and get backfiring.
@ProjectVenture what size muffler is it?

What we always did was give I a good hot run, and go to the car wash, poke the wand up the rear and break it up. Worked good for alot of us
@@observantservant2135 you dirty dog
Should have used a band clamp instead of that old style muffler clamp.Band clamps actually come off when you need them to and they don't leak.👍👍
Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind next time. 👍
I dig that winch the most. Lol. Most underrated value ever.
Good video detailed I especially like your interpretation of how it will sound in the very beginning awesome keep up the good work
i had one on my old 4.0 woke everyone up every morning at 2am when i would leave for work
I feel bad sometimes when I start it at 4 but then I remember my neighbors party all the time and keep me up, lol.

You can get Cherry Bombs that have angled ends that compensate for an offset muffler 🍒 💣
Definitely like the Cherry Bomb. Nice mellow sound.
I just straight piped mine. It’s a bit loud but only if you floor it, lol.
😂 I started it after I pulled the exhaust to hear and I just couldn’t do that to my neighbors when I leave for work at 4.
@@ProjectVenture yes, I tend to creep down my street, lol.
😂😂😂
I once took the back of the exhaust off on mine and floored it down the street at 6 am but no one ever said anything. 😋🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I straigt pipin 2 with a quazie monza tip, yo! Jeep XJ life nigga's!
Good Lord I was using those mufflers for years ago and we knew then they were good
Made me nervous with the way 4.0 exhaust manifolds crack. Hope you had no issues show up.
No issues. Didn’t effect the manifold at all.

@@caseybanter I’m still running it and still love it.
@@ProjectVenture cool! Thanks, brother
@@caseybanter no problem
I'm curious how this did with the next smog check, I'm hesitant about doing my exhaust in Cali...
I’m in California as well and I had no issues. As long as any modifications are after the catalytic converter it is not an issue.
Wish I saw this video before I started mine. I’m stuck with it straightpiped because I cut to short near the O2 sensor. Noted don’t cut short
I straight pipe my 94 zj and wish I can keep the sound but not the loudness
Did it matter which direction you put it on. Not sure if these are one directional
I don’t remember the one I installed being directional.
Hi mate, what size is the exhaust pipe? It looks like 2.5 inch? I want to order a muffler but not sure which size to order :/
I believe it’s 2.25 inch.
@@ProjectVenture awesome, thank you.
In my chevy theres only like 5 inches back of the muffler 🔥. Dont need that extra pipe 😏
How is it on the highway? Does drone?
I honestly don’t really notice it. I had a car once though that would drone so bad it would put me to sleep and it’s nothing like that.
@@ProjectVenture glad to hear. I believe I'll be doing this in the near future. Thank you
It’ll get louder as you drive it, which you probably already know since it’s been awhile since you posted it
It hasn’t necessarily gotten louder but the tone has changed a bit. Not in a bad way though.
How long was the muffler?
I believe it was around 23/24 inches
Very nice
Sounds better.. Good work!
How do you make links in the description
Oh and also check out me and Gabe‘s new video
*saws off cats* nice I did it!
I wish I could, lol.
Everything cool with this video except the name of your jeep ' spooky jeep sounds lame ' just saying
Any suggestions?
@@ProjectVenture' orange crush '
Like the soda?
@@ProjectVenture nah it’s a jeep thing. This guy just doesn’t get it. Spooky jeep is cool.
@@ProjectVenture Definitely keep spooky jeep.
It fits the paint job quite well.
Glass packs suck! Get a steel pack
I just got my muffler and cat stolen so I’m going to put this in cause it’s cheap
That sucks. It’s getting pretty bad around where I live too.
