Catalyst, Tarkin, Andor and Rebel Rising, and saws episodes of Rebels makes Rouge One an amazing experience.
Even though I think Rogue One is really overrated, every media surrounding it is perfection.
And the Onderon arc of Clone Wars
I really, thoroughly enjoyed, Catalyst. I was given it as an early Christmas present from a friend, and I read through it just weeks before the release of Rogue One. It made my theatrical experience vastly better, since I very much knew what was going on in the galaxy before the arrival of Director Krennic at the Erso homestead. The portrayal of the dynamic between Galen and Orson was powerful and twisted. Seeing the early days of The Empire, was something special. Loved the study of the Kyber Crystals. But, my favorite aspect of the entire novel, was Lyra Erso and her minor Force-sensitivity. I've never seen a mild Force-sensitive depicted in The SWU; where she's met Master Yoda (as a child), and, though untrained, can sense certain balances in The Force in relation to the rest of the galaxy. I LOVED that Lyra could tell that, during The Clone Wars, the galaxy and both The Living and The Cosmic Force were in conflict, and that "something else" was at work, orchestrating this chaos. This also explains why she ended up being suspicious and ultimately aware of the duplicity of Orson Krennic, in spite of him attempting to come across as altruistic towards both the galaxy and The Erso Family. I really, truly hope that some of that story gets depicted somewhere/somehow within the Final Season of The Bad Batch...esp. since We got an Orson Krennic cameo near the end of Season 2. Lyra Erso's depiction in, Catalyst, is one of the major reasons why I would actually prefer Jacen Syndulla to be, NOT a Jedi (as cool as that would be), but, a Force-sensitive/Force-user, a member of The Church Of The Force, as well as part of The New Republic Militia.
May The Force Be With You, Eric and Aaron.

Doing God’s work here!🙏
I loved this book
~22:41 I think Hemlock was brought into the fold shortly after the formation of the Empire. It was said back in S2 when Tech did some research, all he could find was Hemlock was let go from the Republic Science Corps for his extreme experiments. And when Hemlock arrived on Tantiss in S2, he said to Nala Se he'd be taking over operations. So he definitely wasn't around prior to when we first see him. Maybe he went from that other base with the slither vines to Tantiss?
Solid talk through the concepts of this novel! are you guys going to contribute with the high republic? got some amazing stories left to cover
Imagine like an Oppenheimer type version of the death star lol that would be nuts

So by Eric’s metric if you watch and experience a thing and Don’t like it the first time but rewatch it and love it on the second you actually Don’t like the film even though you do now. Weird mathematics.
