Hi Maestro! For cutting the dough, can be used a 20-30 cm long thread. Just pull under the dough, make a loop, pull and cut. I think IT is easier the knife. All the Best!

Aye brother! Thank you for this recipe. I made it for Christmas and all reviews from youngsters and oldies were good.
I took some good ideas from comments too, rum soaked raisins was a good one. I also put a dash rum into the dough. Light dust of milk chocolate plus a light dust of nutmeg really set it off. Little salt in the cinnamon good too.
I used half dry yeast and let it rise overnight. Super recipe, thank you sir!

Nice recipe Vito. I love eggless dough recipes you don’t need eggs for everything you bake! I would use butter though because I love butter and I’m not entirely vegan.❤
The main reason i don't make pizza (breads and other related stuff) at home is because i haven't got a table yet. Strong enough for kneading regularly and spacious enough for rolling. Probably i'll have to make my own as they don't even sell these to individuals here. Decent dough mixer is probably out of bounds of my world as well.

A secret that I found and works great if you want to cut the rolls without pressing or deforming the dough is to cut it using dental floss or any thread

Nice but only a 7 of 10. I make it with polish that's 12 hours old and a little part of levite madre. Raisins that sleeps in Rum for the inside and a glace with powder sugar,cream cheese and lemon zest. That's an 10 of 10

Just tried this recipe - isnt the hydration level really low, like 50%? My dough is looking much drier than yours 😢
You lied to me Vito, I thought they were going to be crunchy. I give you a 3/5, Chef John had coffee in his AND he invented the Squash Bird. He wins, but just wait till I make my varieties, I probably have 3 hours worth of ideas for cinnamon roll variations I want to try out.
Yesterday it was vanilla sugar, today it’s soy milk. I wind up avoiding recipes that call for something I’ll use once and wind up eventually throwing the rest away.

Shame it’s veg oil we won’t eat that, seed oils are killers. No to soy milk also. Can you make with normal milk and olive or avocado oil?
I made cinnamon rolls before using regular milk. I hate soy milk too. I used butter for spreading but I guess you can use any oil you want, as long as it doesn’t overpower the flavor of the cinnamon roll. I also added some chopped walnuts and raisins.
Thanks yes butter is a good idea because olive oil probably has too strong a taste

Easy and fast??? 15 mins to make dough, three total hrs of rest, 25 mins to bake. And you need a professional grade mixer to boot. LOL
