Dear Praveen, Candi Sukuh actually told us a sad story. It was build in the last years of Majapahit, the last Hindu-Buddhism kingdom in Java. In those days, many people that struggle to remain in their Hindu and Buddhism have to escape to secluded area. Candi Sukuh was build as a temple in refugee. Archeologically, it's the youngest temple built in Jawa, and it's also built in not a fancy way like its predecessor. The piramydlike structure was inspired by punden berundak a pre Hindu-Buddhism religious site to worship ancestors. Hipotetically, in the last day of Majapahit there're no Brahmins and Bhikkhus left to teach people how to worship in proper Hindu-Buddhism way and people just mix it with the ancient way. Other hipotesis said, that the use of punden berundak structure as a temple was the way to make it a Hindu temple in disguise. Btw, untill today there are many strong Hindu community in the area. You can visit many contemporary Hindu temples situated in many villages around Candi Sukuh.

It's amazing explanations of ancient sites and logic behind each statue. We r impressed with ur efforts bring facts in front of masses who even do not know the places.
I see some similarities between the geography of the region and the carving on the floor. South of Mt Lawu is Mt Jobolarangan. East and West of it are some hilly features in the valley that may resemble the frilly wings on the carving. The Jobolarangan mountain is interestingly symmetrical along the north-south plane having erupted equally to both sides. On the south side of Mt Jobolarangan there is a hill, it looks like that region is called Kabutpaten Wonogiri, where the UPSA - Giriwoyo-Jatipurno national forest is. This hill, the valley around it and the hills around the valley form an image that could be interpreted into the carving. I won't use such words here that might get me in trouble with the community standards. I used the google earth pro to look. And when I lifted up higher to see the land around these two mountains I was very surprised to see the land is an expansive plains encircled in mountains like a huge crater wall. In the plains between these two mountains and the crater wall, and two thirds of the way around are dotted with volcanic mountains or lithospheres in a pattern that looks similar to the pattern of that umbilical strand. It looks like a necklace of pearls around the two mountains. It's not a perfect copy of the image of the carving, some rearragement might be required of the hills and valley of the national forest, but I thought you might find this interesting. It's certainly a breath-taking landscape! Do you make anything of it? Could people standing on the mountain have a view of those geographical features that might have inspired the carving? The carving on the floor also looks to me like it's in the shape of a chalice.
Love your Indonesia Temple tour! An observation; the Ancient Astronaut stone blocks there in the last segment don’t line up as the boots are off slightly. The missing stone blocks may have been far more revealing! The latter powers have motives to hide the unexplained as you illustrate. You should also cover Dieng plateau, the only place where we find templs dedicated to pandavas, krisna...but the temples dedicated to bhima and ghatotkacha is at higer level than others. When asked I was told bima is placed at the highest level as he killed all the kauravas...ghatochkach was one level below him bcz he changed the course of wae...he compelled karna to use his special weapin, which was actually reserved for arjuna.

I noticed an interesting detail in the carvings: the spherical shapes near the tip of the male organ seem to be perfect spheres, in contrast to the more elongated forms at the lower part. This leads me to believe they might represent a glans ring (co *k ring, pe *is ring), a device known to enhance sensory experience. Furthermore, the elements you identified as boots in the carving seem to resemble cankles, characterized by a thickened ankle and foot area. The toe markings are particularly distinct on one foot. Sukuh Temple was built in the late Majapahit period. Some say that the shape of the Sukuh temple is a return to the form of ancient Javanese pre-Hindu Buddhist temples. Candi Sukuh actually told us a sad story.
It was build in the last years of Majapahit, the last Hindu-Buddhism kingdom in Java.
In those days, many people that struggle to remain in their Hindu and Buddhism have to escape to secluded area.
Candi Sukuh was build as a temple in refugee.
Archeologically, it's the youngest temple built in Jawa, and it's also built in not a fancy way like its predecessor.
The piramydlike structure was inspired by punden berundak a pre Hindu-Buddhism religious site to worship ancestors.
Hipotetically, in the last day of Majapahit there're no Brahmins and Bhikkhus left to teach people how to worship in proper Hindu-Buddhism way and people just mix it with the ancient way.
Other hipotesis said, that the use of punden berundak structure as a temple was the way to make it a Hindu temple in disguise.
Btw, untill today there are many strong Hindu community in the area. You can visit many contemporary Hindu temples situated in many villages around Candi Sukuh.

It's amazing explanations of ancient sites and logic behind each statue.
We r impressed with ur efforts bring facts in front of masses who even do not know the places.
I see some similarities between the geography of the region and the carving on the floor. South of Mt Lawu is Mt Jobolarangan. East and West of it are some hilly features in the valley that may resemble the frilly wings on the carving. The Jobolarangan mountain is interestingly symmetrical along the north-south plane having erupted equally to both sides.
On the south side of Mt Jobolarangan there is a hill, it looks like that region is called Kabutpaten Wonogiri, where the UPSA - Giriwoyo-Jatipurno national forest is. This hill, the valley around it and the hills around the valley form an image that could be interpreted into the carving. I won't use such words here that might get me in trouble with the community standards.
I used the google earth pro to look. And when I lifted up higher to see the land around these two mountains I was very surprised to see the land is an expansive plains encircled in mountains like a huge crater wall. In the plains between these two mountains and the crater wall, and two thirds of the way around are dotted with volcanic mountains or lithospheres in a pattern that looks similar to the pattern of that umbilical strand. It looks like a necklace of pearls around the two mountains. It's not a perfect copy of the image of the carving, some rearragement might be required of the hills and valley of the national forest, but I thought you might find this interesting. It's certainly a breath-taking landscape! Do you make anything of it? Could people standing on the mountain have a view of those geographical features that might have inspired the carving? The carving on the floor also looks to me like it's in the shape of a chalice.
Love your Indonesia Temple tour! An observation; the Ancient Astronaut stone blocks there in the last segment don’t line up as the boots are off slightly. The missing stone blocks may have been far more revealing! The latter powers have motives to hide the unexplained as you illustrate. Very interesting considering what’s being revealed lately with the ET whistleblowers.
I hope the next one continues from this one. I wasn't ready for it to end. So interesting.

You should also cover Dieng plateau, the only place where we find templs dedicated to pandavas, krisna...but the temples dedicated to bhima and ghatotkacha is at higer level than others. When asked I was told bima is placed at the highest level as he killed all the kauravas...ghatochkach was one level below him bcz he changed the course of wae...he compelled karna to use his special weapin, which was actually reserved for arjuna.

I noticed an interesting detail in the carvings: the spherical shapes near the tip of the male organ seem to be perfect spheres, in contrast to the more elongated forms at the lower part. This leads me to believe they might represent a glans ring (co *k ring, pe *is ring), a device known to enhance sensory experience. Furthermore, the elements you identified as boots in the carving seem to resemble cankles, characterized by a thickened ankle and foot area. The toe markings are particularly distinct on one foot. I appreciate your insights and the opportunity to share my observations.
