    By building the temples with interlocking blocks and using gravity to keep them in place, they are inherently stronger than just stacking and carving larger blocks. This is possibly the evolution of the polygonal megalithic construction techniques of a previous advanced culture. India has retained much of its infrastructure from ancient times unlike the rest of the world and shows a link to the culture preceding the Younger Drias collapse. IMO of course. The most amazing thing to me is that, of all these carvings, virtually none of them are identical! Almost every piece is unique, with different deities, different actions, poses, dress, accompanying figures, backgrounds, and on. Were this done today it would undoubtedly be mass produced identical pieces or one of a dozen or few dozen templates! The sheer planning of this is mind boggling! The ancient people who built these were so far advanced, I doubt that we even have a clue as to HOW far advanced they were.
    You never cease to amaze and inform, Praveen! Thank you so much!

      Sculpted figures, carvings or figures cast from a type of advanced concrete?
      Step 1. Create a wooden mold of reverse carved figures.
      Step 2. Fill the mold with concrete made from a special mix.
      Step 3. Once the necessary hardness of the concrete has been obtained, burn the mold to reduce it to ashes (these ashes can be used precisely in a new concrete mixture for other sculptures).
      Step 4. Remove all traces of ashes and polish the stone surfaces. This process is less aggressive than forcefully removing the mold, which could damage the sculpture or figure.
      You have to see the manufacture of sculptures from another point of view and not the traditional one of hammers and chisels. think about it ;)

    • @fredfarquar8301
      @fredfarquar8301 2 роки тому +3

      @@jorgesaldivar8533 This does sound reasonable…until you consider you would have to make over 600,00 of these molds just for this one temple! By hand? No. With programmable machinery? Possibly, yet it would still be an amazingly monumental task! In actuality I never considered the possibility of creating the figures or molds with hammers and chisels; the sculptures are too finely detailed and numerous for that to be true (unless each of the sculptors was perfect in their work and never made a mistake, a chip, or fracture).

    In Australia my interaction with people from India is limited. I ask the young people 20’s to 30’s about their childhood and exploring these ancient temples. The same answer always. - We are not interested in these things.
    I reply, are you kidding. These are the most interesting carvings in the world.
    This is the response that amazes me. To me I would explore these over and over and over again.

      It's the sad reality of india today. We discard everything from our culture and try to ape the west. I am also an example of that. For 30 years of my life I had no interest in them and found the glass buildings of west more interesting. The mughal and british rule changed the indian mentality a lot. There is a sense of shame in associating with anything indian and also with hinduism. But slowly I see nowadays the Interest in a few is returning. I truly believe the clues to the truth and to the future are hidden in past.the more we explore the more we know

    I only point out Praveen, that in the effort to count the stone blocks, and how things were assembled, don't overlook the fantastic details and the complexity of the individual stones themselves.
    The stone 'leaves,' may be only an inch or two in surface area, but look at how much detail was embedded into them.
    And the entire construction of the temple is a extreme work of art in stone!
    There is literally, no space or surface, that was not worked. No empty or flat spot of any surface. With 'maybe,' the exception of the flag stones on which you walk on around the temple complex.

To have a global industrial society without any visible trace of these elements, is to me the most mind-boggling thing about it. Fascinating! I imagine that the people who lived in the past had the same brain power that we have now. So, I can see how after years of experience working with stone for carving and building did become a constant part of the life of many people and gradually they improved their craft until they were able to create such beautiful and intricate works of artistic and cultural sites. Unfortunately, people who are in positions of great power don't always appreciate the abilities of people who they mean to control and they most likely were wiped out by the ignorance of them who have no appreciation for beautiful people who create beautiful things. One more thing. It absolutely looks like these builders had some sort of three d printing devices they could use on stone! The amount and quantity of these carvings not only here but all over India seem to indicate that as well as other sites around the world like Anger Wat suggest that either there was literally an army of insanely good stone masons or these ancients had some sort of technology that allowed them to put places like this temple together.

      My vote is that Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) was used. Like 3D printing, it uses Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) precision. Praveen shows an example of EDM machining at 12:20 . That example of EDM could be made with 3D printing but EDM would have to be used to achieve the tolerances shown. Modern industry can use EDM on metal but to machine stone in this manner would require extremely high voltages at resonant frequencies. Adriatik Lh mentioned Bob Lazar's comment about UFO construction being like 3D printing, but again, the precision they possess indicates an EDM process was used.

    This method of construction is very very advanced....the engineering involved would seem not to be present in the olden days. the indian temples are miracles of construction! Thank you for the education you provide. I always wondered how the ancients could make these miraculous temples! thank you so much for this education! You are always so enlightening.

      These temples were engineered and built by the people of present day India, our culture was highly advanced before colonizers arrived. Our magnificent temples were certainly not built by aliens.

      We always think ancient people were not very intelligent.. But the fact is they were human too. We modern human dont have such stone skill now, but that doesn't mean that they didn't had it either. They were differently skilled and were very much advance in it. Human always makes stuff better as time passes. 9m manuscripts were burned at nalanda university I wondered what were those knowledge which we lost.

    Absolutely mind-boggling. I used to think that the moving parts were all sculpted out of a single stone which I thought was a very complex way to tell stories in stone. However our ancient builders were much more smarter and brilliant. They assembled the temples!!! Literally. Part by part. Thank you very much for highlighting these wonderful details. You are very brilliant about your analysis 👏

    The mastery of stone by the ancients is astounding. It seems like ancient Indians took this technology as far as it could go. They could pretty much take stone and shape it into any shape they wanted. It really is mind boggling. It also suggests that any and all they’re buildings were made so that as far as they were concerned it was infinite and made to last forever. Trying to find a way to insure that the knowledge they shared would survive pretty much everything. Seems to me like the thinking of people who have seen what has happened in the past and wanted to make sure their work wasn’t in vain and the next time the knowledge wouldn’t be lost.
    However Praveen I think you’re doing the ancients a disservice by crediting aliens. I think all of this is human technology. I am not saying aliens don’t exist and haven’t visited us in the past the door is very much open on that question. However these were brilliant people with a completely different outlook on their lives. These people weren’t obsessed with money and power. They seem obsessed with knowledge and teaching. Their wealth came in the form of spirituality and knowledge. Two things they did everything they could for preserving it for the future. The physical result of which is simply astounding.
    Yet another great video I love them all!
    See you next time!

      Yes. Indeed mind-boggling. But consider this too: It is all utterly Satanic - they got their high knowledge from the fallen angels, who came down to mate with human women and have unnatural children by them - children which became Giants, gods, goddesses and monsters. And they built all these temples to make diabolical religions where they be worshipped as God's and make human sacrifices there, drinking the blood etc - to rule over man by their superior knowledge and demonic powers. Yuck. Still impressed by them? Oh - and btw these amazing accomplishments in stone... They did it all just by knowing one massive secret: of how to mix CONCRETE which will harden into hard stone and will also petrify whatever it touches, rapidly. Imagine : You can take something, anything, living or inanimate - and just spray it with a liquid mixture and in a short time it will have become turned into granite. It's as simple as that! Really. Super impressive results - from something that's actually quite easy to do - and no one knows... How they did it. Except that now we are beginning to learn. It's all a big diabolical trick - from Satan's fallen angels. Puts it all in a rather different light, doesn't it? 👀🙂

    Taken in a group, these temples relate to each other it would seem. Here is one style or method, and the temple carved from a single stone is another, and the temple where the lathe worked pillars rotate, and so forth. Together, the temples seem like examples, or "textbooks", showcasing various architectural concepts and methods. It is as if a "student" could be taught a new style at each place, so that, perhaps, once every temple had been visited, the "teachers" graduated this person to a higher rank or status.

    I don't think anyone can disagree that ancient India had the finest stone workers and that from that time their history and religion were captured in the carvings. One thing Praveen I see pyramids in a lot of the temples could we be looking at a link to the ancient pyramid builders? Another where are the Vimanas? Would love a video from you on the representation of the vimanas carved on the various temples and an explanation of the stories the temples are telling again in theory would be great. As we know the issues which can arise from any other options. This video proves the advanced level of building that would be quite difficult to recreate today and that our arrogance is what sometimes holds us back. You explore very relevant history, I wish more western academics would join you in what seems to me to be a window into an advanced past. Keep up the good work!

    Hi there! I studied jewelry making and carving/making jewelry out of wax, and I think that some elements have been carved out from bigger blocks and not attached to them later. What you see as a “rod” that has been used to attach a statue, looks like something that you intentionally leave for support purposes when you carve things from one block, so it gives an illusion that a statue stands separately when it’s not.

    • @saoirse_flies
      @saoirse_flies 2 роки тому +2

      Yes, except for the holes where the statues are missing such as are pictured at 0:47 in this video. The supports should be sheared off, but they're actually removed from the wall instead.

  • @dementus420
    @dementus420 2 роки тому +8

    Wow, praveen, you have got to be right about the fact that the statues are made separately and then mounted extremely precisely to a large pillar or other block. I've always been mindboggled by how they could have possibly carved these as I was under the assumption that they were of one massive block. Now it all makes much more sense. Genious.

    I think these carvings and temples were left behind by vastly superior ancestors to re-ignite the light of wisdom in our time, to reveal what we are capable of as individuals. I think they knew we as a whole would be subjected to some sort of reset, and that we would have to find our way back. Extra terrestrial beings may have been teachers, but the monuments that remain, are to guide us back to our individual strengths and amazing abilities. Thank you for sharing these locations and pointing out what others dare not to, thank you for pointing us all to our better selves.
