You’re giving me hope that I can get my move done. Rented this house for 28 years totally renovated EVERYTHING out of my own pocket and paid for lawn maintenance. I’m 72 and retired a year ago and have been given 30 day notice to move. Rent is four times what I pay now and I have four cats. You did an incredible job cleaning your home. Be strong
30 days notice to move after all you have done, that is awful! If you have a lease, your landlord should help you financially for the move (I’m in Canada, I don’t know about where you are)
That is sad so many people are selling houses they use to rent out 30 days is short notice after so many years. I hope you have some help & find a new happy place. Keep us updated on the next vlog if you can.

@@SimplyLibbyt You did a great job. I feel like the landlord always tend to find any excuse to keep some of the deposit. Mine told me he had never seen someone left a place so clean but still kept some of my deposit. I forgot the lame reason he had. This was like 27 years ago.

I can feel your hurt and l know why you are crying. It's so emotional when you make a home and have to say good bye to it. Some people don't get attached but l do. It's the memories and how that place supported you through life, no matter what. It means you have a loyal personality, which is a good thing. Grief comes in many forms. Congratulations for doing it, it's for the right reasons.

You did a great job cleaning that place up! Your landlord better of appreciated it. I had to rent my house out a few years ago bc of medical issues and move in with family. The first tenant left it a disaster!! I couldn’t believe it. I actually knew her too. I have a new tenant in there now and did a walk through before resigning her another year. She’s keeping it much better. 😊❤
Libby, hang in there. You're not only grieving the loss of the house, but the loss of your long term relationship. Your life is different now, BUT remember you got this. YOU are providing a home for son and you should be proud of that. You are providing him with stability and let go of a situation that wasn't working. That is a brave thing to do. Can't wait to see you get settled and what you do with your new place.

I know how you feel. You are leaving so many memories, but, as I also know, there are many new ones to be made. I learned at a young age to look to the future and learn from mistakes from the past. I am 74 now and am still looking to the future. That’s what gets me up in the mornings. You’re a great person and you have a great child. ❤❤❤

I’m so sorry Libby, it’s never easy leaving something your life and heart has been so closely connected to. You’re stronger than you think, you got this! I’ve only lived in 3 homes in my life time so far, I’ll be 60 this year I spent 39 of those years in my childhood home. It was hard to say goodbye to so many years of memories, but I realized for my situation it was a chance to start anew. I hope you feel much the same once you get your emotions sorted out. It’s not easy but, the tides will turn.
Time to bring all that joyfully, blessful and filled with happiness, best of time with all that good you deserve...
Starting up fresh is just like a blank canvas....try to fill in the colors you went missing with loads of laughter & hugs😊😊😊😊
I’m not here to tell you that it doesn’t hurt. It does but you are among many of us who have been through similar situations. With Gods help we survived and moved on. Each day my life got a little better and brighter. Yours will too. Love your son and made new memories in new places. There is better waiting for you. We are praying for you- just remember some of us also survived great abuse, hurt, and pain. We are alive and enjoying our lives. You are going to be alright!

libby, i recently left pennsylvania. as i shut the door for the last time, i looked around and the tears fell. as i shut the door on years of abuse, lies, and infidelity. in the car was what mattered my children, my fur baby, and a few belongings. shortly after i left i filed for divorce. i have moments of second guessing myself as tears as grief, but there are better days coming for you, your son as for me and my children. remain strong, believe in yourself, and smile each day. sending hugs.

You're doing so well sweetness. You are so real and it's 100% okay to feel overwhelmed. I moved from my 3 bed 2 bath house with a basement to a 2 bed 1 bath with absolutely no storage. A tree fell on my roof right after a storm so my outdoor porch and my stairs are ruined. Part of the tree is still back there, because I just cant..... organizing and downsizing is stressful. I have 2 dogs and a cat and entirely too much stuff.... grieve your home, you're life that changed, and your comfort.... I spent a embarrassing amount of time crying on the empty living room floor after I packed up my whole life. They sold the house as is, so I didn't have to clean but I spent a good long while sobbing and rechecking every room and reliving memories over 6 years. My baby goldens grew up there, my kitten was lost in the field out back, we remodeled,DIYed, learned, loved, cried, and lost in that home. Grieve babe cause it hurts. My relationship didn't make it through it. 7 years done. My life is so much better now babe!! ❤❤ I see you. Sending you love and light ❤
The clutter, the unpacking, the happiness, the beautiful life you want... is coming! I promise! And even when a tree or a tire or a force of nature tries to take it out, you'll still be happy. You are so loved. You are so strong. Hang in there babe. Watching you reminded me of myself. And I won't lie and say that some days, I just don't have it in me to get out of bed, but most days I laugh till I cry instead of just crying. Lean on your support systems too!! Friends don't have to help, sometimes you just need company and someone there to talk things through with. Sitting on the floor with my best friend, drinking wine last night, I got rid of 10 boxes of stuff. It's just money, it's just stuff.... you can always make more/get more later ❤❤❤

OK, Libby this is the old lady who got her videos mixed up and told you during the most stressful time of your life, how lucky u are to have a great husband…. Shoot me in the head! I don’t have a great excuse other than man there are a lot of people moving out of a home and moving into a new home on UA-cam this summer . The problem with old places like your old apartment is no matter how much you clean them they still look dirty and the agents never take that into account.

Btw, you are going to have fantastic buns & thighs from going up & down those stairs! I moved to a 3rd floor walk up with my kids once & got in fantastic shape just moving in!😂 I also lost 120 lbs on keto because my body doesn't metabolize carbs right. It was slow (3-4 yrs) but I feel so much better. Don't be afraid to "tweak" to however your body needs. I eat mostly carnivore/keto but need some fruit too. Each of our bodies works a bit differently. Keep doing what you'redoing, one day at a time. You are going to look back at this one day & say honestly "not fun but the best thing that ever happened to me". 👏👏👏💝
Also, I surely do NOT miss my kids'dad, but I do miss that house.😙

I don't know who you are,, your channel just popped up, I read your title and listened to your Testimony. I was really touched by it.. Life isn't always fair. Some have the best husband's, the best jobs, the best relationships, the best homes. And no matter how we try things just don't work out. We have to struggle to achieve one small thing. Yet for others it just happens for them. We think, are we just destine to fail ? I too have lived with a Narcissist, a Socail path for almost 50 years. Yes I do know what getting Beat, kicked, Slapped and Laughted at, . I know how it feels to have your husband degrade you in front of his friends or your own family. And especially in front of strange women. I have seen him flirt in front of me, follow women in front of me. And he had many affairs. He is a HYPOTHETICALLY LIAR. lies about everything. Yet at first I stayed because we had 4 children. Then they finally grew up and left. By this time we were older, and I was too old to work along with my sickness. I depended on his income. The hurt, the bruises we hide so no one can see. Then we have to deal with the accusations from those who do know whats going on. The questions are " Why do you let him do it ? Why don't you leave ? It's your fault !! You stay because you probably like getting beaten !!! And it goes on and on. Until you become NUMB to the Assults, the Humiliation, and just exist. But I know I didn't over come on my own. I serve a big God, for he knows the plans he has for me. He knows how much we can take. Had it not been for the Lord, I don't know where I would be. I most CERTAINLY DO NOT ADVERTISE NO ONE to SUFFER the way many of us women have SUFFERED. My Advice would be RUNNN, RUNNN AND NEVER LOOK BACK. for some of us it too late. You see God has a plan for you, he gave you a beautiful son. God has something in store for you. Your Testimony will help others. You didn't survive this on your own, God carried you through. Keep trusting God, he will always make a way. Your Son is relying on you, you are stronger than you think. Never give up. I don't know what tomorrow holds, but it know who hold tomorrow. His name is JESUS. HE IS YOUR STRENGTH. Call on the name of JESUS he will see you through. God Bless you.

what i am noticing threw this process is you and your family doing all the packing hauling off moving and cleaning i hope like hell you left all his shit for him to pack and move on his own since this breakup was his ideal and i hope like hell since he isn't doing any of the cleaning your keeping the entire deposit if you get it back and do not split with him he doesn't deserve any of it in my opinion

You are going to make your apartment a wonderful home. About 15 or so years ago, I left my boyfriend’s house and moved into a tiny 450 sq ft apartment. I’ve never been more at peace and happy 😊 You will get there! ❤😊

I am actually still in the process of unpacking and purging things so that we can fit comfortably in this small apartment. Your situation is very relatable for me. We even had car problems also!
