No, that's a portal to another dimension. You can notice it, because at the start of a fight, one of the animations is her appearing from one of her eyes. My favourite entrance, btw.

Well... if we want to get into the Skullgirls lore, what Peacock does doesn't really qualify as toon force. But I have to admit, it still is pretty op.

Liam Kitchen its only annoying how defenseless you are against combos: there is no option to escape your opponents combo im mid of it except if he messes up, which means that if your opponent is good enough, you'll lose a character out of a single hit confirm

Its quite the opposite actually, sure you can get combo'ed pretty hard, but every combo has to be reset or else you'll get a free out-of-jail ticket from the infinite breakout system.
Its pretty hard finding those opening at first against high level player, but you know what? Try to play against a high level player in any fighter and tell me how it ended. The answer is probably not ''a very close match where both side were trading hits''
+Planyx That is FALSE. There's no such thing as a one hit confirm into death in Skullgirls. There is a difference between combos and resets. You're probably getting hit with resets, which you can prevent if you know what you're doing. Also Skullgirls actually has an infinite prevention system (IPS) which means you can't actually lose from just one hit. The game prevents any infinite combo.
I'd love to see Peacock in a proper Death Battle episode. She's hilarious, and OP as hell. Easily one of my favorite fighting game characters ever.
Though, considering only about 400 people play Skullgirls, it's probably not happening.
If Screwattack put Peacock in Death Battle, she'd probably fight Bowser Jr. Both are overconfident and cheat to get their way. I think Bowser Jr would win.

For a goofy character Peacock as a dark backstory.
Peacock is a War orphan slave named Patrica Wilson. She used to dress as a maid along with Marie in Rommelgrad (since the orphanage they lived in was originally a nobleman’s house, they had to make do with the clothes that were available), before they were captured by slave traders.Patricia was too defiant to be a slave, so she was mutilated as an example to the others and then she was rescued by Dr. Avian’s Anti-Skullgirls Labs, and rebuilt as a living weapon. Her freind Marie who became the current Skullgirl.

for one thing you can't kill toon by being serious, you have to follow *their* rules and know *their* quirks to kill them.
toons have a 15-30 minute of immortality, depending on the character. you can't kill them until the show is over. all you can do is follow the show and outsmart them.

Indeed, but you also need to consider on what "level" you wish to kill them. If you merely want them out of the way for a bit or don't want to dirty your hands, you can generally kill them by their own rules. They're not really set back by turning into angels (all Toons go to heaven) anyway; they can just get rid of the halo, wings, harp and shroud when they want to "undie" and the secret of coming back from the dead for the sequel, a spin-off or a reboot isn't really a "secret" to them, it's standard procedure... If you, on the other hand, want them well and truly gone, the dip is the only way to go. And even then, I've heard there's a way to bring the Toon back using his or her original model sheets or an old cell and a multiplane camera.

- Never forget, a character from the 20's cartoon never lose a match.

Peacocks stuff in game is all the result of (lose comic-booky) science. In other words, she’s technically a reality bender as the Avery unit (the little bird) “opens a portal to lab 8’s vast underground arsenal” this is how she does stuff like drop through a hole in the ground to pop up elsewhere and pull guns out of nowhere.

+butter samuri That wouldn't be a very fair fight. Yes Ruby's scythe is also a sniper rifle, but first off, Maka AND Soul are both there, in other words it would be 2 on 1. Not only that but they can fly and manipulate sound as an offensive weapon while in scythe form. Maka while not strong in comparison to other characters in the show, is extremely strong when compared to Ruby. She was able to fight on par with Crona without the black blood, fight against the Keshin, and regularly climbs up all the steps of the academy, something shown to take a normal person almost a full day to do. Maka has full control over her abilities and soul, while its been stated that Ruby doesn't even have full control over her semblance yet, and that speed was the only way she would have been able to deal with Maka and Soul. While I like RWBY, this would not be a good fight, and will probably not happen.

I seen comment on a video done by screwattack once, that said that they wanted a death battle with the Joker but didn't know who would be fair and interesting opponent. I think Peacock would be perfect. They both have similar motifs, a morbid sense of humor, similar methods of infecting violence, and fairly equal strengths and weaknesses. I would love to see them duke it out, just to see them trash talking using bad puns and cartoon quotes. ;)

***** ***** They both can be random and have the element of surprise on their side. Both Joker and Peacock would most likely underestimate their opponent at least once. Joker, 'cause he's up against a little girl, and Peacock, 'cause she's cocky. (Hey! That last part is a bit of a pun.)
I would say though in the case for Joker, he does have more experience than Peacock. I can see him planting a exploding cigar on Peacock just before he fakes his death. And when she lights it in celebration of her victory...BOOM!
Then again, Peacock is tough. She would have more endurance than Joker, thanks to her parasites. And she would have her weapons more easily at disposal than Joker.
So it would come down to which is better: Skill and Endurance or Timing and Strategy?
