Sorry jojo fans, as much as I'm a jojo fan myself I gotta give this to Sakuya. She has complete control over time and space, what you saw here is a super nerfed version of herself, because touhou characters nerf themselves on purpose to not destroy the world whenever they fight.

Well, not quite "complete control over time and space"... I mean, she cannot rewind time or time travel (but that's mostly because, as ZUN said, doing so is actually impossible in Touhou) and her spatial manipulation is limited to distorting space (like making the inside of a container bigger than the outside)... Still, she stomps Dio so hard it's not even funny.

@@lolno6601 touhou characters can see all spirits, ghosts etc even the ones that can't be seen by others or ones that follow certain rule sets before you can see them. Now whether it applies to The World and stands in general is a bit tricky and would really depend on the verse they're fighting in IMO.

To answer the question "How did she cut off The World's arm", there's obviously the Touhou explanation of how Sakuya can see and harm spirits, but there's also a JJBA explanation as well:
A Stand is normally intangible to everything except other Stands, but when attacking a physical object (like a normal person), they are temporarily tangible for the duration of the attack (or else they would just phase through the object).
Basically; if a Stand can touch a normal person, then the inverse must also be true.
This means that Sakuya didn't even need her "kill spirits" ability, as long as she knew where The World was, she could cut his arm because it would still be tangible due to having just attempted an attack.
There's probably a bunch of fights that can demonstrate this, but the one I remember the clearest is the Josuke vs Motorcycle Stand (forgot its name) in Part 8: Jojolion, where Josuke blocks the Stand's attacks with his own hands, and actually manages to push the stand (or at least attempts to).

And Sakuya's limits are WAY beyond Dio's.
@SimNao-ft6iq As a fan of Touhou and JJBA, I'll tell you why Dio never stood a chance.
In Touhou, the game play is an in universe game they play to settle disputes, because most heavy hitters are literal gods or god slayers. The weaker Touhou bosses can perform reality warping feats if they use their full powers. So they play that little game to avoid shattering reality on a weekly basis.
In Sakuya's case in particular, she's basically a time god, and can just delete people from history if she wanted. Dio lasted as long as he did purely because Sakuya didn't take the fight seriously.
Side note, she's also an ex-vampire hunter and works for a vampire 5x as strong and 5x older than Dio.
Now, Sakuya can't move during Dio's TS, and The World is invisible to Sakuya, so if he caught her lacking, he might get the dub.
... If it weren't due to the fact that Sakuya is functionally immortal due to the fact other versions of herself from different timelines could and would jump in to help.

fun fact:sakuya time manipulation is so strong that it can affect hourai immortals that is stated to be independent from the concept of reality,space-time,fate,etc also she is immume to time stop herself as she can move normally in a place where the flow of time is frozen and a place that exist outside time,causality and history another thing her weakness where she is unable to 100% reverse time only put them back to the place they used to be is not an ability weakness rather its because of gensokyo. Gensokyo have different physical and time law compared to outside world making time reversal in gensokyo near impossible(keine manage to reverse time at slow rate in gensokyo using one of her spell card) so her time manipulation ability will be stronger if she is outside gensokyo well she manage to exist gensokyo once and end up in lunar capital just to get beaten up by a random girl that is using the power of gods

Sakuya doesn't need the pocket watch to stop time all the time, it's mostly used as a bullet she can freeze time with her mind apparently

First error: the fights occur in the day , something that is impossible because DIO weakness is Sunlight

Speed - Slower than a car (had to get in a car to travel, relative to Jotaro who throws knife because he can’t chase a car). Don’t bring me his combat speed becuz that’s attack speed, his reaction speed is also relative to Jotaro reaction and Jotaro couldn’t predict the blood hit on his eyes (they are slow as hell)
Durability - above average human, not even house level (got his leg cut off by normal glasses)
Hax - The world (9s max)
Iq - Down syndrome
Biq - bro think his vegeta 😂
Dio - House level with base & Multi houses level with hax
Sakuya:
Strength - Multiversal+ (has to be lowest at the level to hurt demon and celestial with knives)

Been over 8 years and Jojo fans can’t accept the facts that Dio gets destroyed. In this video she is heavily nerfed, if this was based on her real strength she would explode Dio at the first hit, Dio can’t even damage her, or she could just look at him and erase him the the timeline without effort.

I like how after Sakuya dodged DIO’s last attack she didn’t take advantage of him being open, just stood off to the side staring at this idiot punching a road roller screaming “useless” at the top of his lungs.
She shouldn't be able to stop time inside Dio's time and to invade his The World ability at the same time or even damage his stand (when she cut his arm off, only stand can damage a stand). Also it's weird he didn't use his "checkmate" move

Everyone is angry about how who won and who lost and I'm just happy that they stretched the last second of the fight to ridiculous lengths through time stopping powers so they still technically met the one minute time limit. Haha.

True, but Sakuya uses anti-vampire silver weaponry. Unless you're arbitrarily going to demand that JoJo vampire canon takes presidence over Touhou vampire canon (or vice versa) you'll have to settle for a compromise and accept that she'd be able to kill him with her knives if she goes for overkill (which I'd personally say that last attack was).

And I'm not saying that you're wrong: Dio _is_ pretty damn durable. More than that, though, he has a _very_ good regen... But if someone's body is pushed too far, even regeneration won't save them.
Meh, considering that the "To be continued" thing appeared at the end of all fights in the JoJo fighting game, I'm honestly more inclined to believe it's just a reference.

Uuuh, nnno, that he couldn't do. He needed to be able to drink blood in order to regenerate from particularily bad injuries... Also; _all_ of his remains, not just his legs, were burned in the sun. Even the bits and pieces from when he blew up from what I could understand... well, except for that one bone that became relevant much later, but still, that bone wasn't able to regenerate anything at all, despite many, many years going by...
We need to make this into an official Death Battle video.
