Some of these old bench grinders are darn near indestructible. Nice job putting all that TLC into a workhorse.

Excellent restoration! I ike the polished bare-metal finish... it looks very cool! Greetings from Southport UK.

This video got a like the moment I saw the bearings being pressed rather than pounded into place. Overall, while not a Rescue & Restore or a my mechanics restoration, I say it’s still a pretty decent job.

A capacitor run (not start) split phase motor. Good choice and not often seen.

I really enjoy this kind of videos, i'd sugest you add some of your thoughts during the process in the form of text or subtitles, like why you choose to change some parts or some specific color. Great job!

An interesting difference in approach between this person and those in developing countries. I am thinking it has to do with availability of and access to sophisticated machinery and tools. The costs pf these items in developing countries and the levels of income will dictate how people need to innovate. I am not saying that people within developed countries do not innovate, they do and I have seen it on many of these videos I am just thinking about the differences i napproaches...this is a great result and I think is nicely done...thank you for sharing the video.

great restoration friend. How many times do you get rid of things that you can repair yourself just by laziness. Greetings from my channel and from my country Chile.

Very nice job. The hammerite finish sets it off nicely. Is the motor can just polished metal or did you clear coat it against oxidization?

That is a lot better build quality than the bench grinders available currently. Was that a low speed angle grinder at 6:40 or just a normal one with speed control?

This man is not a true restorer he could have repaired the grinding wheels with bondo and a quick squirt of grey primer....Ha Ha Ha...kind regards from the UK.

Grinding wheels and wire brush wheels are cheap and readily available at almost any hardware store, including Home Depot and Lowes (here in the US), for you poor unfortunate Folk in the UK, Tuff Luck!

For the size of the motor, I would think it would have a little more power. It seems to bog down with the little pressure you were applying.
