In this episode I continue my way west before heading north on my road trip to Alaska, stopping in Louisiana to cook a delicious Cajun seafood boil out of my car while camping. This recipe is super simple and definitely takes the cake for the best meal I've cooked while camping so far. Thanks for stopping by!

Dude, an induction cooktop might be a better option. At campsites you can plug it in, and other spots it will run on your battery bank. They're pretty efficient, so they don't suck up a lot of battery power. they also don't get impacted by the wind. Nice job on the seafood boil. That looked pretty delicious. Some flip flops for the shower might be a good choice for the sketchy showers. Safe travels as you move west.
High Heat JB Weld is a great all around tool kit item. You can put a glob on the edge and wedge it woth wood for an hour. Easy heat shiel roadside fix.

Some type of wind block would be good for you to have on your trip, awesome looking meal 😍❤️‼️
You can make a wind guard out of tin foil or silver dryer tube for cheap.

I’ve grown up in the southeast. I have this itch to move out west. There’s something so appealing about the desert landscape. Yeah the ocean is nice, but ugh the humidity just gets soo old lol. Great video Matt!

Great video! Sorry about the annoying rattle that haunted you for a time! Your dinner looked really delicious! Maybe you could get a couple foil jelly roll pans and conjure up a shield to protect your stove from the wind. Not sure if you saw the message about a fly made for SUV’s that I don’t think would take up a lot of room, but could give you an outside place with protection from wind and rain. I have seen pictures, but have not seen one in person of one. I hope you break up the next leg of your trip into 2 days, 15 hours in one straight shot is a long haul without time to rest and relax. I did end up breaking into two days, probably the best decision I could have made. I'm going to try out using foil to shield the wind from the burner and cross my fingers it works haha. Thank you for the support and recommendations as always man!

Try putting an aluminum foil ring around the burner.
Those are snow crabs... You should have gotten blue point crabs to be a true Cajun boil. I'm born and raised Cajun and am New Iberia. The heart of Cajun Country
