yeah I agree with you I don’t think the soundtrack in retold really captures that feeling of the original. Steven Rippy and Kevin McMullen made something special and I don’t think it can be replicated.
I still play this on my laptop even though my grandma bought it for me in the 2000s, paying about $70-$75 plus tax. It was so fantastic. It STILL IS. Banished is good too but not made by a company and friends of mine used to work for, and he helped MAKING Age Of Mythology! [And Age Of Empires]
