  • What is the best position for your wrist when typing?
Wrist pain has been more common since people started using computers and typing more. The past year has been even worse because people have been working remotely.
If you are working remotely, you know that it means you're on your computer all the time for work.
Add the time that you are on the computer for personal use, this is a lot of hours on the keyboard. Your wrists are doing most of the work.
I strongly believe this is the reason why we are seeing more people with wrist and hand problems.
What can you do about it? How can you use the keyboard more safely?

I have a split keyboard.. I am afraid to link it because youtube always deletes the posts with links. but anyway it's split, in two separate pieces.
You mention to have the arms straight which is how I am generally, but also slightly inwards with a slant is how they seem to normally rest. At 5:30 you show that "you don't want to be like this" with your wrists straight but arms going inward. Is this bad for me in the long term then? Thanks

Good question g g. I am familiar with split keyboards and have used it a little myself. To answer your question, a slight angle inwards on the wrist is alright. A big angle on the wrist is not good. When the arms are angled, it usually affects the angle on the wrist as well. This is not good long term. Hope this helps.
