Got it for 30 buck recently. Best plugin ever!
Very clear presentation, and your calm and pleasant voice adds to that. Subscribed :-)
Thanks!
Great review
That Jazz is 🔥
Nice review...im enjoying MixBox....fun work flow....have lots of waves and ua's....but this is nice addition
how many more do we need? so is this better than UAD or Waves...what's teh reason to buy essentially the same thing again... - for the rest of us, not yourself, I mean.
Please MixBox vs McDsp vs Infinit vs SlatV 😀
Now also available for IPad. £38 at the moment for a short while.
Can i make master with mix box only❓
U have choic for every instrument track ☝️
Like kind of drum 🥁 Guitar distortion strings trombet
does each plugin has its own presets?
Yes
Is it just me, but the PSP InfiniStrip on the same song had a edge in Sonic Character, just sounded better. But that's what I heard. I own T-RackS Max, demoing PSP InfiniStrip now. Whats your thoughts......... I'm not talking more processors just the replication of a Analog chain........................ thanks
It might have, but to be fair in this review I tried to highlight some different processors on each track, so I wasn't going for the "best" mix sonically. InfiniStrip is a great tool for most mix situations.
Great video, as usual. I can't get past the UI. Those shadows.. as if each module has a different light source.
Yes and very toyish as well. Looks like the cheaper version of the virtual mix rack
AGREED
@@redouandaghirihaouhaou Disagree, looks great, far more flexible than other versions like Slate.
You left out the McDSP 6060. It's 6050, but has more. Same thing. :)
You're right. Costs more too.
Is it just me? But all IK my plugins are heavy on the CPU (on different Win 10 systems). Unfortunately, this also seems to apply to the demo of the Mixbox, which is currently preventing me from buying it. At the moment I mix large sessions with 80+ channels. One T-racks plug-in consumes approx. 5-10% of the Asio system performance (Cubase 10). In comparison, it is not a problem to use e.g. 80 or more Overloud Gem plugins (p.s. and they sound really good).
Must be something going on, possibly having to do with Windows. I'm on a Mac and most T-Racks plugs are between 1-3%.
Yea I think IK is pretty CPU heavy, at least on Windows
This vs Slate? As I buy more plugins I'm thinking about quiting the Slate subscription.
Slate is my personal preference. In terms of sheer volume, MixBox definitely has more. But I wouldn't want to give up VCC, VBC, and VTM. The Slate Distressor, Custom EQ, API EQ, 1176 Blue Stripe, and Drum Gate are great. Plus Slate includes Infinity EQ and Air EQ for full-featured digital EQ needs. Repeater and VerbSuite are more tweakable than the delays and verbs in MixBox too. But they're both great tools.
Both
Mixbox has dry/wet control on every plugin. 😎
They Need Some Kind Of Exciter Plugins To If They Have One Please Let My Know Thanks
Nope, no exciter modules in MixBox.
That's Sat X is for also they're EQs have modelled saturation
Saxophone sounds way louder. In jazz sax. Should be right back.
its decent but no solo nor mute button
it has bypass button
Slate Digital?
Similar concept, though this has many more modules than VMR.
@@GreenLightSound would love to hear a comparison and your thoughts, considering SD’s vmr is so popular
a little advice, don´t speak when turning on off or by passing plugins. Let the sound playing.
You have to roll off the highs. This kind of recordings never been sound like that
Modern jazz recordings have a fair amount of upper frequency information. But classic (50's-60's) era jazz recordings do not. I was showcasing the capabilities of MixBox here, not really trying to match the sonics of classic jazz.
