I wish everybody could experience just a taste of the message songs like this are trying to convey, and I wish people could enjoy the music used to convey it without being scared by complexity or something outside their comfort zone.
The ending of this song is one of the most moving and powerful passages I have ever listened to. The lyrics synchronize with the melody so beautifully it creates a sort of dream-like, sorrowful, and truly epic moment, everytime you listen to it. 11/10
Vigil Serus I was on acid when I first heard that part, and the lyrics perfectly captured the emotions and realizations you experience on the drug. One of the only songs that had managed to make me cry
@@GrapeFlavoredAntifreezefor me... Early Grave by the Contortionist achieved this. It was like a symphony of angels singing the chorus. The vocal layering really helped, but it was no lie the most beautiful thing I've ever heard. It was pure bliss.
I love how the lyrics pay homage to the old releases while intimating their new style with "a voice within" The space between the walls that surround us Is only as confined as our hearts and our minds In time we all will hear what resonates from within The voice that we must find and embrace to guide us Well done, Mike!!!!
I feel like this album has all the right components to make prog/metal/djenty whatever the hell you want to call it, a very serious competitor for mainstream radio time. Aaron Marshall I love you.
I am incredibly grateful to have found Intervals! Not only does their music get me through the day, it has inspired me in ways no other band has been able to. Aaron is the best guitarist/composer that I've ever had the pleasure of hearing/seeing. If I could spend an hour with one musician I wouldn't hesitate to choose him. Our minds just seem to be on the same page in so many ways, if only u could catch up in skill. I'm doing everything I can! Just can't thank you guys enough!
Holy shit, it has been 5 years since the first time I listened to this song, and that outro still makes me feel... sad? Now I feel this very nostalgic and (again) sad because we'll never get another Intervals album like this. For many, the first Intervals album it's the best, but for me, AVW it's the best and the most beautiful they've ever done.
Makes you feel sad? Sounds uplifting and beautiful to me. And it's a great message. Actually... I feel you, it's emotionally a very powerful lyric and powerful outro, instrumentation, etc etc This is hands down there best album in my opinion, and it's crazy because it has vocals. They just did it so well and chose a great vocal a lyricist.
This song is absolutely beautiful. I love how you guys connected the lyrics from "Ephemeral" to this towards the end. An incredible song to end an incredible album. You guys should be proud of yourselves.
Trying to share this album with my girlfriend. I love her, she's really good to me, and I'm more than a little in love with her. But she refuses to give it a chance. I mean she's got CFH tattooed on her leg. She's metal.. don't know what to do about it.
It is a hell of an ending song, everything is just perfect: enough of MUSIC itself, enough of FUCKING AMAZINGLY MINDBLOWING EPICNESS, enough of everything! It is from now my favourite song ever! Thnx a lot! You're the best
Super cool of you guys to let us listen to these awesome new tracks on youtube! I promise when I get some money i'll pay for this honor and buy the CD haha
Jeeze man I discovered Intervals about 2 years ago but never heard this album till the other day. Everything I've heard from Intervals and Aaron Marshall is incredible but A Voice Within blew me away, it's their best album I've heard imo. Now I'm just wishing this band lineup would come back for another album because they nailed this one.
Unfortunately Aaron ruined his relationship with Lukas, Anup, and Mike. But you can still catch them in other projects. Mike has Rest Among Ruins which is honestly just as good as this album
Imo, they could have split this into two songs, I feel that from 4:22 onwards could be the best thing I ever heard, and if it was a song on it's own, it would give more potential and heavy grooves to this one. But that's just my view, I love the album the way it is :D
I respect your opinion but then it wouldn't feel the same. No shit it wouldn't feel the same but like the songs second part has to mix with the first to give it a nice feelint
I have listened everyday on here and just finished buying the album online, this is amazing work! I am completely smitten with this album right now lol.
i feel like all the longer songs are two in one. like the second half of self surrendered is a different song, the second half of this one is too, and the second half of atlas hour is DEFINITELY a different one. Feels like Skyharbor's Celestial. It might as well have been Celestial Pt. 1 and Celestial Pt 2. This album is, in my opinion, a 12 track one!
The outro is absolutely flawless. I can't even describe how much I love this song
+ragekage209 These emotions
This song Is so fucking good
Brooo I know
Just found about this song. This is such a gem
It took me and my friend a few days to learn to play this song. Just guitar and drums, But it turned out really good! Simply my favorite band.
That's pretty impressive. Most be some talented musicians! Especially the guitarist.
I wish everybody could experience just a taste of the message songs like this are trying to convey, and I wish people could enjoy the music used to convey it without being scared by complexity or something outside their comfort zone.
This. Every bit of this.
For some god forsaken reason, this is such a hard ask for today's common listener.

+Vigil Serus The most beautiful part that I've ever listen.

This is good, if you want something similar try Count of tuscany's outro
I second this 100% it is really powerful.

To feel, to see, to create, to dream
I love the lyrical style the vocalist brings to Intervals..
I tear up at the end
I love how the lyrics pay homage to the old releases while intimating their new style with "a voice within"

2:47 - One of the heaviest things I've heard. It's so menacing!
"We are the order...."
BOOM.
I know right? It just feels ancient & beautifully righteous

This song touch me so deeply.
I love the clean intermissions and the outro.
I've never had a metal song give me tears before..... absolutely beautiful work guys
They fucking nailed it with this jam. ..you know when you stumble upon true works of art
Amen to that
fuck yeah. i agree.

I hope the final moments of my life sound like everything after 7:33
2024 and still hits.
This band has blown my mind for so long.....everytime I listen to them
It is a hell of an ending song, everything is just perfect: enough of MUSIC itself, enough of FUCKING AMAZINGLY MINDBLOWING EPICNESS, enough of everything! It is from now my favourite song ever! Thnx a lot! You're the best
The most underrated intro riff
amazingly written song...from 7:45 to the end is one of the best clean passages I ever heard. See you guys in Amityville !
Super cool of you guys to let us listen to these awesome new tracks on youtube! I promise when I get some money i'll pay for this honor and buy the CD haha
IT HAS ARRIVED! AND I LOVE IT!

@@odepaj What sucks is that Rest Among Ruins haven't released anything else in 6 years. Their debut is really good.

The chance, the fate what brought us to now
We can't help but admire it's beauty...
Well, I can feel it, and it's beautiful enough to withstand pain.
The music, the voice and the sound is so cool. They paint a wonderful music-picture-feeling in my mind! THANKS!
Gotta be the most underrated song of the decade i mean seriously tge music voice lyrics every fuckin time i listen i cant help but to shed some tears
love the second half, feels as if it could have been its own song
this song is flawless.Amazing.
The middle change its just marvelous
5:34 = ❤
This has to be the favorite of mine by this band. It's so great.
Fantastic musical composition! The vocals are on point the whole album. Wish I would have heard of this band sooner!
The vocal in this one is the nicest one from all the other songs in this album, the quite lower parts.
Best song in the album !
There is nothing to complain about. Nearly perfect!
“I can do something with my hand you can’t, *starts playing sick guitar riff*”
3:40 they're jamming, drums are going off!!
It's cool what you did putting the other albums names in the lyrics, really clever, great song, great album as a whole. SO worth the wait.
Absolutely bone chilling & beautiful.
Best INTERVALS song!!!
4:20..just dropping a place marker so when I come back to this video and need the outro its just a click away.
Amazingly beautiful track. I honestly thought Moment Marauder would be my favorite but everything about this song is perfection
RIP Intervals, the Best Instrumental Metal group.
2011-2013

The riff after the chorus' are like sex in the ears.
I have listened everyday on here and just finished buying the album online, this is amazing work! I am completely smitten with this album right now lol.

Exactly. Top 10 Hardest beatmaps in my opinion.
Why was this removed from spotify??
This chorus is on an Alter Bridge vocal level.
Reminds me of Soilwork a bit.
cool =)
nice
Nice way to cap it off.
5:34
kinda reminds me of mudvayne with the baseline
