Just finished up doing this to my 2014 Sentra. Didn’t have a torque wrench or impact because I’m cheap 😂 The 18 and 21mm nuts/bolts suuuuuuuucked even with wd-40 but a breaker bar with an extension did the trick. Thanks for the video!

You are missing a critical step ! One of the strut mount bolts on drivers side is buried and you have to remove drivers windshield arm. You need to add that to your video.

It’s a torque wrench. You can pick one up at harbor freight for about 40, or buy nicer ones from any tool store.

question when you took the swaybar off you used a 6mm tool to hold the bolt then a wrench, when you put it back you only used a torque wrench how come didnt use 2 tools for the reinstal?🤔

Because you are screwing into the frame. The bolt is traveling down not upwards (taking off)

Beat a smaller sized socket onto it.

2 years Late.
Sway Bar may seem to be Stripped when you actually need Grippers or a Wrench to hold the “Inside Nut” IN PLACE (May be hidden under the plastic Rubber) while you try to twist the “Outside Nut” out. If not, both Nuts will rotate together.

My 2015 nissan versa note does not have the 3 bolts at the top of the strut, it just mounts with a … rubber donut. I’m carefully trying to figure out how to remove the strut from the donut… a video on it would be helpful
