  • This technique video goes with this week's "Stuffed Chicken Wings" recipe. Yup, it's 9 minutes of me just deboning chicken wings! It's here as an additional resource so that if you need to watch the technique multiple times you don't have to keep rewinding the main video. You can also just let it play while you're deboning your wings so you can keep referring to it as needed!

You must have strong hands to grip the slippery wing, especially with gloves. It helps to use paper towels to grip them.

I love the fact that this takes the generally much maligned wing tip joint, and turns it into a handy dandy handle!

Wow, thanks so much for the closeup and the showing. I always thought it was hard to debone, but now I am going to try this recipe. I believe I can do this.

I'm a pro at deboning chicken wings. Yea...I debone the whole wings. Sometimes we have competition to see who can debone the most in 30 mins. It's tedious and tiring but it's worth it in the end.

Thanks for showing us that because I was wondering how to make it. I thought you take out the meat and the bone out and leave the skin. I guess I was wrong. Interested. I want to try it someday.

Cool tip but the way she’s holding the knife makes me nervous. I hope no one debones themselves trying to follow the technique.

I have. Nearly exact to the recipe and with minor variations. However, she is about the only one who breaks down harder steps into 1 video.
The wings always come out fantastic and people request them when they come over.
This recipe isn't for everyone. Just people you really love or someone you're trying to impress.

If you have time let wings sit in fridge to dry out a little so not so slippery.
