I see! So this is how people debone chicken feet. I have seen different cuisines doing this and I was wondering how they actually do it. Thanks for the awesome video!
When I was a kid, my dad would fry up chicken feet. Dad was raised on a farm, and nothing went to waste when they butchered the chickens and hogs to feed their large family. When he fried the feet, the bones were present. Seeing the feet being fried up in the pan made me sad, and I was afraid of the claw feet. After watching so many Asian dramas and your recipe, I now want to find chicken feet and cook them. This brings back wonderful memories of my father, and the collagen is a plus. Thank you for this tutorial on how to prepare chicken feet.❤❤❤
Hi R C . Thank you for the comment. I am so glad to hear that you would give it a try. Yes, chicken feet is really delicious also the collagen is a bonus. Happy cooking.😀😀
I saw the Korean mukbangers eat chicken feet. Here in, SOUTH AFRICA, it's considered that only poor people eat it. But seeing you guys eat it, I had to give it a try. What a disaster! The feet we buy here, are not deboned. So I air fried it. Tough as nails! 😂 Seeing you deboning it.... It's a heck of a job. I don't mind the bones. I'll just cook it next time. I did give it a pedicure. 😂😂😂
Ek baat batao , ye market me kuch panje safed hote hai aur kuch peele , aise kyu hote hai. aur safed panje baade hote hai aur peele chote hote hai .. mujhe batao
My dad used to eat chicken feet. He would braise them in a kind of stew. I've never been a squeamish eater. I had plenty of samples, but I never understood why he liked them. But... for people who DO like them - Rock On! Cheers!
Hi Steve Thea, thank you for the comment 😀 From my experience, not tenderizing the chicken feet before deboning will cause the chicken skin to break into small pieces. Hope it helps 😀
In Jamaica, once cleaned, we make a curry dish with the feet , add carrots, potatos, and broad beans, delicious 😋. We also make stew chicken feet. Jerk chicken feet and use it to make soup. Stew peas with chicken feet. We have varieties, 😋 😋
@LSingh-hu6ml, Thank you for sharing, wow! that's really amazing of how many dishes can be made with chicken feet. Really appreciate your comment. Happy cooking 😀😀
Hi Flofinda Ferrell. That's would be great! However, just be careful as deep frying the chicken feet usually create a massive oil splashing. Maybe coat it with some flour will help 😀😀
Hi Ganti Babu. It's much harder to do for the neck bone. Usually I will cook it first and then extract out only the meat from the bone. Thanks for the comment. 😀😀
Hi Tafadzwa Chivasa, thank you for sharing 😀 Yes, that is an option too. In Thai Chicken Feet salads, they are usually served de-boned to enjoy the chewy texture. Hope it helps 😀
@jashanpreetsingh2405. That's correct, we need to remove the first layer of the skin. Usually, the chicken feet bought from the market have been cleaned and removed the first layer of the skin so we don't have to do that. 😀😀

While chicken feet is not a vegetarian ingredient, I have other recipes that uses vegetables as a playlist on my channel (ua-cam.com/play/PLh6VcQgyyG-Dvh3uNsWra4e8I27MLwG1w.html). Be sure to substitute the oyster sauce with the vegetarian oyster sauce, or omit it completely, and you're good to go. Hope it helps 😀
Hi K French, thank you for sharing 😀 Sure you can always use the chicken feet in a broth. In Thailand, chicken feet is enjoyed so much in salads and spicy curries, that it is packaged with bones removed. Hope it helps 😀
