- Explanation how to use and install a rifts scarpet app to allow for creating infinite random dimensions that remain compatible with vanilla even if you don't use the app or carpet anymore. Provides similar functionality to the famous infinite snapshot april fools 20w14a, just working with current minecraft versions and snapshots.

Oh man, using the spectacle of ripping the terrain apart to hide the loading of the new dimension is such a brilliant idea!
At this rate, we'll have a full-on Scarpet modpack before long :P
If these were as rare as like a mansion. they could be a really cool feature in the real game. I really want these.
Set them to 0.01, it suppose to be rare enough i think. But as oppose to a mansion, you wont get a map for those, and they have extreamly small footprint... So i think 0.02 is reasonable. Might still feel too rare to be honest
You can easily type command /locate (name of this) then you will get coordinates and you can easily click on coordinates then press enter! Ez

as long as the dimensions arent extremely large (about 10-20 chunks out from the portal would be good) then i agree.

Editing and video quality has much improved Gnembon and so has the ideas. What’s next for fun farms or is that strictly secret?
From semi-employed to being dropped into an interdimensional rift -- I don't know that this is an improvement for those villagers!

Hmm @gnembon, maybe we could try adding this to WE, by having a clone dimension in which you can hop to to test different designs. Like having a CMP; on your SMP! (Great vid btw, tho I don't think I need to re-stress this considering all the comments that have been and will be posted in the near future...)

Any chance youll enable turning off the... rift effect? Like the ravine forming? I would love to play with that but i dont like the idea of ruining the terrain around it

This is absolutely incredible. It's really unfortunate that I can't use this on the spigot server I'm hosting, unless I've missed something? I know that I can use the already generated dimensions from a fabric world, but there's no way to have the rift spawning and dimension creation implemented on the spigot server is there?
If not, I don't suppose it would be at all possible in the future? Cause I can't get over how fantastic this is and the depth it adds to the game.
I’d take inspiration from existing dimension mods. Mainly mystcraft for its similarity to this concept in general, but also twilight forest for massive tree structures, erebus for underground generation, advanced rocketry for alien planet/toxic atmosphere generation, etc.
Also I wonder how easy it would be to make custom mobs just by scrambling around the model jsons of existing mobs with a bit of noise?

gnembon, creates an " april fools " mod to go to different dimensions ect, later he gets a new job at mojang which is known to add some things from april fools updates. 1.19 The newest update happens to have a new portal of some sorts.. hmmm

So I know this is a weird video to ask this on but, I made a server which is vanilla 1.16.5, and I built a mob farm. so I asked about 120 blocks away but no items came. When I came down some mobs were down there though. Any tips?
hey gnembon i have made my version of the ender pearl launcher as on scicraft but on small scale but it can teleport you more than 1000 blocks .

Does it support 20w14a if so how does that work and does it generate infinite awe inspiring dimensions in 20w14a, I wish to start a Roleplay server with some friends called Elder Game. It is going to be built on the Idea of a Cosmic Wheel Cosmology called the Shin'shariin no Heimen ryō'iikii Which is my minecraft version of the D&D/ Elder Scrolls Cosmologies with inspiration from Shinto and Daoism. I wish to have Entire Religions and Civilisations rise and fall creating a history and story that crosses multiple Eras and Kalpas. I also want it to have a theme in which the gods see the universe as a Game and these gods also meant for the mortals to be Players of the The Game hence the name Elder Game. but in order for this to work the procedurally generated dimensions must be based on Nether, End, Overworld or other forms of fascinating terrain that isn't going to lag out or crash the server. In other words no super chaotic and laggy Insurmountable terrain like we most often get with Base Snapshot Infinite. I've been waiting for a data pack or mod that takes advantage of 20w14a's infinite possibilities and further refines said formula to produce absolutely gorgeous Procedural dimension content optimised for a roleplay survival server. C'mon now, I cant be the only one who sees the SHEER POTENTIAL of 20w14a. If you ever create such a data pack/mod I will play it in a an instant. Much love my friend, stay safe and stay awesome.
