1) I appreciate how you guys will reassess your views and be upfront with that. This isn’t flip flopping. Flip flopping is changing your views without admitting it. It is cool when you say that there are facts or circumstances that have changed your mind. That is extremely rare and I respect that a great deal.
2) Giants should sign the best OL available in FA. If it is a tackle (unlikely), then Eluemunor can move to guard.
3) while Hyatt’s development has been hurt by poor QB play, he himself has been bad. Other WR (slayton, Hodges 2 years ago) , James have played well despite bad QB play. if Hyatt was any good, he would have played more. I would guess 75% of the problem is with Hyatt.

I'm a Jersey City transplant who grew up in South Jersey as a die-hard Giants fan. I utterly despise the Eagles along with each & every Philly team. It was such a pain in the ass living among Philly fans. They are the worst fanbase in sports.

Nick literally named a bunch of my favorites tv shows Rick and Morty archer are hilarious brickleberry season 3 episode 1 absolutely a must watch is amazing. And it's always sunny in Philadelphia life as Frank season 11 episode 6 and dee dates a rapper season 3 episode 9 are my favorite.
Love this. I haven't tried Brickleberry yet but want to. I'm currently struggling through the later seasons of Archer, hoping it gets better. The early-mid seasons were sensational.

Not paying Barkley is the dumbest decision ever. If eagles were not interested then fine but when the eagles became interested then the giants should have paid him. This team cares so much about optics yet somehow this doesn’t bother them? Giants are the laughing stock of the NFL. You don’t let the face of the franchise, your locker room leader and team superstar go to your most hated division rival. End of story. Idc about the bullshit not paying rbs. Every situation is different and the fact anyone agreed with him letting him go to the eagles has their head up their ass. It’s why everyone in the world knows it’s humiliating besides some giants fans who get too caught up in the numbers and then Joe schoen, just them. It’s fucking embarrassing to let this happen over a couple million dollar difference in contracts. This isn’t the bears! It’s the fucking eagles, our most hated rivals who have shit on us every chance they get for the last 10 years and what do we do in return? We gift them their second Super Bowl. What an absolute disgraceful, pathetic and embarrassing organization the giants have become. For the next 50 years people will talk about how the eagles won their second Super Bowl because the giants didn’t pay Barkley and they LET him go to their team. 100th season, worst record in giants history, eagles win superbowl and Eli manning doesn’t get into the HOF. Really sad

I love when Dan crashes out over the lack of anticipatory throwers with NY Giant's qb's. And not only do I love it ! He's right ! It's frustrating to watch this offense flounder becausevof the qb.

BTW Dan, it was not just Jayden Daniels being available. They also built him up for it in an intelligent way by not announcing him as the starter early. It was a sham because obviously he was, but allegedly he had to "earn it". That was good for him, backed the media off and satisfied his teammates. "Earning it" is much better than being handed it, even if it's shambolic. It just looks better and adjusts expectations to something reasonable, particularly for the fans. Dan Snyder would have had his face in every subway in DC trying to sell falafels and bidees or some shit that entire summer, which is basically what he did with RGIII. He might even have started firing people when the Skins had that slump following Daniels' rib injury, and the stability that team had would not have been there. Trust me on that. Harris owns the team, but it belongs 100% to Adam Peters and Dan Quinn and therefore by extension the players.. That would NEVER have happened with Dan Snyder.
All of the above is my analysis. Dan Snyder would have meant no Adam Peters or Dan Quinn, and the team would have won six or seven games, even with Daniels. The culture matters, and that came from DQ. No DQ, no Frankie Luvu, no Bobby Wagner, no Zach Ertz etc. That's about five wins right there, maybe more. Above all: no DQ, no decentering of Jayden Daniels to take the pressure off early. They never even made the man team captain, I believe. All deliberate. Whoever had volunteered to work for Dan Snyder would not have been allowed to do any of it.

There are too many variables to the QB dillemna. So you have to start with the free agent quarterback who needs to be able to be your quarterback in case things don't turnout for 2-3 years. He has to be a good player who throws with anticipation, a good mentor and so on. Then if at 3 the two QBs are gone, or if they prefer Hunter, Graham, Carter or Johnson, they can take him at 3 and pick a QB in round two or three or trade back up into the end of round 1 for their QB of the future. But if the free agent QB is not right, their flexibility in the draft is severely limited.

I don't think Mara is the kinda guy who would do that to saquon. I think he is still proud of him and happy he ran 2005 yds. I think calls to congratulate you if you win SB MVP... or even just wins a SB.
Suggested gimmick: Nick will not trim his stache again until the Giants win another Super Bowl. It could be sort of like when Harald refused to cut his hair until he had become king of Norway, except on youtube and therefore funnier.

Giants need to sign veteran QB.. any draft pick QB this year is probably not ready to step in day 1
We all hate Philly….John Mara needs to take a look in the mirror and ask himself why the Eagles are so adept at building loaded rosters whilst his Giants are so inept. That’s the real Saquon lesson…..he’s the same guy, he’s just a running back. What’s different is everything else. That’s what should embarrass John Mara. Barkley is irrelevant. Giants sucked with him and sucked without him. Philly was a loaded Super Bowl contender without him, they’re a loaded Super Bowl contender with him. He’s thriving because of Philly, not the other way around. The Philly offense isn’t even the reason they’ve improved from 2023….thats the defense which has gone from 26th to 1st overall. Fangio, Mitchell, Baun, DeJean, and Jalen Carter are all more important to the ‘24 team than Barkley. Saquon to Philly, CMC to SF a couple years ago and Henry to the Ravens demonstrate that already loaded teams with SB aspirations should consider spending on RB, especially if their QB is run heavy or non-elite. Anyone else shouldn’t.
