Every quarterback that I would rather have other than Jalen Hurts was drafted in the top 10. We would have never been able to get Goff or Allen types because we were too good. Mahomes is the only exception and he isn’t a hit the back foot timing passer either and nobody expected him to be this good. Hurts is good enough to keep a good team in the Super Bowl hunt. And don’t forget we probably don’t get AJ Brown without Jalen being here anyways. Give Howie credit for making the move to get Hurts. And let’s be thankful for a quarterback that wins games and gets us to super bowls cuz the grass always seems greener than it really is
With Tanner's height comes some advantages in the pass! I do factor in that Jalen Hurts has a slow release on the ball. Hurts has proven that he can stem his drop backs and get the ball out perfectly to the contrary! The O line does get beat at times though and when they're vulnerable it's silent because it hurts the QB more than anyone.
Play calling is a way bigger prob than commonly acknowledged. The loss to Wash perfect example. Running Barkley into a brick wall couple dozen times is why they lost that game... Kellen Moore. He didnt trust Pickett, left D on the field WAY too much
Reading some of these comments, it never fails, some people will never be satisfied. We are basically 2 dropped passes away from being 15-1 and all some people do is complain about Jalen can’t do. 🤦🏾♂️. Is he a pocket passer that does a 3 step drop and let it rip….. no. Does he win more than most…. Yes. He has “it”. It isn’t always pretty, but he is a winner. He is the best leader that we have had at the quarterback position since I’ve been watching this team (I’ve been a fan since 1978). With the game on the line, next to Mahomes, I wouldn’t want any other quarterback that’s currently playing.
This team would be borderline unbeatable with elite QB play. Jalen too frequently doesnt pull the trigger when its there. If you combined quick decision making with his athletic ability and the talent on this team, whoa boy.
Never going to be perfect, but we are fortunate to have a QB like Hurts. Extremely fortunate honestly. Good enough to get it done, and this is the year 🦅
They don't even need elite play. Just throw to the wide open guy in front of your face. They've already shown they can put up points with the backups. The team is stacked minus the QB
Yes they do. And, helping make their offense more lethal, go no huddle intermittently. By the 4th quarter, the opposing defense will be drained. Our aim is to score points within the game flow and manage the clock. Limit turnovers and penalties
Greg they have a deep threat guy in Bo Melton and they'll likely try to take advantage of Cooper Dejean to get the field open across the middle. Jordan Love is going to try to scorch the Eagles along the middle of the field if it's there.

Watching Tanner find open receivers with ease reminds you of how good Kellen More is and how Jalen is the source of most of the offensive problems

@jasonr_2017 an average quarterback?

To win in the playoffs the Eagles have to pound their opponents with ball control running. Not ideal, but necessary

That extra cosching research is where Press Taylor found Matt Barkley running the "pre-Philly Special"......
There's a really interesting story connected to this one👌
Id like to hear it.@InsideTheBirds
@@InsideTheBirds Spill those 🫛!
We've discussed it a few times over the years. We'll revisit in the off-season down the road
@@InsideTheBirds Oh, I thought it was something in addition to what you spoke about. As you were, Sergeant.

Melton isn't nearly as explosive as Watson
In Week 1, the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Green Bay Flaggers. GB put a lot of laundry on the field, undisciplined on offense & defense
Sydney Brown has to slow down…breakdown…takedown…he launches but doesn’t target…
I don’t think DeJean should come off for any formation by the offense. He’s too good.
I must have been watching a different defense. Ringo looked great and Trotter struggled. Granted the Giants didnt exactly try to pass the ball much
You're not watching all_22
Well you probably don’t know how to properly evaluate players or know what to look for
