Best Giants channel anywhere. Great analysis!!!
Thank you!
I love this stuff. Thanks guys
Appreciate you!
Great show as usual!
Thank you!
Eli is so under appreciated by the NFL. He'll get in eventually.
It's almost like those writers that doubted the '07 & '11 Giants are now taking it out on Eli. It is what it is. We all know that Eli not only deserves to be in the HOF, he's proven it.
Excellent point about the bias of the writers. If the regular season is all that matters then they need to stop bagging on guys for not winning the “big game.” Meanwhile they’ve got arguably the most clutch qb in playoff history staring them in the face and they whine about his regular season stats. FYI the Chiefs are going to win. If it’s close the refs will find a way to help them win.
Defence wins games Eli had game yes Mr clutch this all know is that winner playoffs
You guys are awesome
Thanks again for some awesome content boys!
Keep it up ya'll!
Excellent content men. Eli will be in there soon. I think the writers wanted to see what the reaction was. Kinda like a beta. They can now formulate their opinions based on a subjective “outcry” meter of sorts. Whatever. People outside of Big Blue fandom really overlook how tough he is. All of the “Manning face” memes bely that to the average fan. We know the truth.
I was waiting for this all day!!
Excellent show guys!! 💙💙
You guys rock! Eli for HoF 2026!
As a Rams fan, my first instinct is he doesn’t even belong in the HOF, but like you said, can you write the story of the NFL without him, and the answer is no, the thing I struggle with letting him in, is almost every season he played, he wasn’t even a top 10 QB in that season, I never as a rams fan said, man I wish that guy was our QB, but that’s my perspective, not trying to hate, have nothing personally against the giants or Eli, in fact wish you guys would take out the eagles next year
I love the outside insight and appreciate this comment.
Nice job guys
Eli manning would be in the hall of fame had he left the giants after the 2011 season and actually played for a team that had a competent front office.
His first 8 years, 1 losing season, 3 division titles, #1 seed, 8-3 in the playoffs, and 2 Super Bowl wins and 2 Super Bowl mvps. The Giants held him back his last 8 years and we are still seeing that be the case today with players like Saquon Barkley.
I hope Kansas City finds a way, eagles roster is disgustingly stacked at every position & even their coaching staff has improved. Feels like shit as a Giants fan. I’ll grab a hankie lol
Stafford only if he's here to mentor a young guy lol am sorry bro is old as Jesus's soccer slides great video guys. I agree Eli is a First Ballad in my mind a True Legend. and Nick that stash is also Legendary my friend.
Thank you, just got it trimmed up!
Dan what is ur thoughts on Shedeur? I’ve only seen ur thoughts on Cam so I’m curious especially considering it’s more realistic we draft Shedeur.
Coming soon after I watch more - I’m assuming this coming week I’ll get 5-6 Sanders games
It has been awhile. Great job as always. I am not sure if the Giants should draft a QB this high in this draft. Thinking a bridge QB is the best option. However if you guys feel Ward is a good selection then I can be persuaded.
Was there a bet on who could say "wax poetic" more 😂
Not complaining it's just funny
In terms of cap hit for Stafford, he’s 49 mill for the rams, but 22 mill of that is signing bonus, which would not be assigned to any team that trades for him. So it’d be around 27 mill for the giants according to over the cap
Why would the Rams trade Stafford. Why would he agree to come to NY.
@@TrollKing2781There is so much talent on this team.
Also Dabs is an above average offensive minded coach and makes it a pretty good situation to come into
Just my take.
@@shaniquascott6188 Ok. I don't think the Giants are loaded with talent. I do believe they're a capable QB, CB & swing tackle away from being a wild card contender. As far as Stafford goes. 0 chance the Rams trade him with no successor in sight. They're a contending team. Why would they trade Stafford.
@@TrollKing2781 Fair point. Rams could want to clear house, but thats just conjecture
Rewatch the 2004 draft and see how in his feelings merril Hodge. These guys were in their feelings from the day he was drafted
What do you think you have to give up in terms of picks to get stafford and kupp in a trade?
Also consider Eli playing in Giants stadium / MetLife .. tough place to throw a ball
Good point, John!
Warren moon 1st ballot. One game over 500, 8,000 [EIGHT THOUSAND] less yards than Eli, 75 [SEVENTY FIVE] less td passes , eli 2 super bowl mvps compared to moon who never even played in a conference championship.
🔥
Eli has the stats tho. He’s surrounded by HOF in counting stats
A Big yes if we can trade for Stafford!
Snubbing my boy Eli is only going to force him to come out of retirement and win one more. Let's go Big Blue
Eli will get in, i beleive he deserves to be in... But they did have to penalize him in some way for his .500 reg season record and too many int's.
Luke Keuchly should have got in
I mainly do the podcast so this is for the alg lol 💪🏽
Eli Manning was the 3rd best QB in the NFC east for the majority of his career lol. I love that this is happening hes not a HOF quarterback.
Coming from a Philly fan 😂😂
I'd give up max a 4th rd pick for Stafford. Other than that, pound dirt Rams
Tell Nick to embrace the widows peak/eddie Munster hairline, it’s a good look go with it
I've been saying I will and never do. A project for later in the year.
Come on guys, I like your pod. Just don't act like Saquan is a regular RB even on the terrible Giants, he carried our offense but definitely didn't get wins for us. Happy for the guy. Go, Big Blue, always, though.
Dan, please go run routes with Cam!
right lol
I would LOVE Stafford, but i just dont see it ever happening
So a contending team in a big market is gonna trade a Superbowl winning QB with no predecessor.
If you look at it close it’s a RAM EMOJI
Eli did not deserve first ballot HOF consideration.
Chill out ffs... he will eventually get in.
Eli isnt a HoF QB but yet i still remember when the narrative was that Eli was the better Manning because he had two rings and Payton only had one. There's no way the QB who beat the undefeated 07 Patriots and then beat the "Goat" again a few years later, doesn't get into the HoF
Winning 2 superbowls is not an easy task , he is a hall of fame Quarterback he way more memorable and impactful to the game than a guy like Phillip Rivers was
There's also no way Eli was better than Payton.
@@tomaxxamot2016 agreed entirely
@@TrollKing2781 I never believed he was either, even as a NYG fan. Payton is my favorite QB of all time and a big part of why I love football so much
He’s a .500 QB who had no playoff wins outside of those two seasons. He’s far better in the playoffs than his brother, who was the much better player overall.
He is a HOFer he just isn't a first ballot. You were top 15 on your first go. He'll make next time.
The HOF votes were ridiculous. Jared Allen getting in is ridiculous. He just disappeared in every big game. He shoud have to buy a ticket to get into the hall. Him in and not Eli should be grounds for eliminating this institution all together.
JUSTIN FIELDS !!!
Eli threw 201 more touchdowns than Aikman
Exactly why drafting a WR 6th when your team is a disaster is idiotic.
A 6 time pro bowler who never won a SuperBowl or a two time Super Bowl MVP. If you didn’t know the names who should be in?
Eli was always underrated. It’s just another indication of how bad sportswriters are today. Have you tried to read any other articles and get a feel for what really happened in the game? They all seem to have their own skewed perspective.
He was actually voted the most overrated player by his peers. It’s not just the writers. Only Giants fans see him as a first ballot hall of famer even with no all pro votes no MVPs and only leading the league in ints. With a .500 record. That’s not first ballot.
How tf Troy Aikman get in
3 superbowl wins and 6 consecutive pro bowls.
Stafford yes. Now Schoen do not by all means do not screw this up get Stafford. Trade a 3rd round this year and and player NYG has and a second next if needed.
😂😅😂😅😂. You got a better chance of hitting the lotto than Stafford ending up in NY.
Eli getting snubbed is BS
Why would you trade for a guy that will probably retire in 2 years
i think it's saquon'a weight loss that has made him more explosive ....a skinnier saquon on the giants may have put up his rookie numbers again
so many runs last couple years he got caught from behind
if we had a real coaching staff they would have floated the idea of saquon losing weight
So dodging 2-3 defenders just to get back to the LOS had nothing to do with his lack of production.
@ if barkley gave you the production and the explosives runs of his rookie season you wouldn't be happy
have you seen barkley this year ...yes there would be a hole there would be three defenders around him ...he would cut and take it to the house
he didn't have that ability last couple years with the giants
of course saquon not getting 2k yards with the giants awful line ...but 1500 was obtainable
giants didn't sign him coz they believed he was washed after 2023
@@juzbcuz Joe Shame is obviously a clueless Fool. Mara, Dabald, Brown etc etc. Everyone told him to keep Barkley. He listened to himself & let Barkley walk. That's why he's become a punchline in the NFL community.
Stafford is great, but we would have to give up our 1st and 2nd rnd and all of our cap. We have holes all over. We r not QB and WR2 away.
I love Eli but guys lets calm down there were many betta players than Eli who werent 1st ballot HOFers & I also think da "u cant tell da story of da league without Eli" argument is kinda cheap cuz u can jus as easily "u can tell dat same story without him bein a 1st ballot HOFer" it works both ways, he will def get in eventually & it will be well deserved, lets also not act like Eli was eva a top 5 QB during his playtime, there was always at least 4 guys betta than him & he has 2 SB MVPs but he was neva close 2 bein league MVP
I used to think you guys knew something about football. Eli Manning doesn't deserve the hall of fame. His career was mediocre. Only buoyed by winning our two Super Bowls. If you want to add a sidebar for the Super Bowl run that's one of things. He doesn't have a hall of fame career.
Compared to who? His numbers are tight there. I said it all the while, this organization failed Eli, but people who hate on him have been there every step. His numbers are very similar to Beb's and Rivers, who played on much better teams, Ben's first Super Bowl he was carried by the best team in football. Take a look at what the Giants did after Eli, why, answer that one, the same lousy organization without a great QB is garbage. While the Sreelers are still the Steelers without Ben.
What the hell are you talking about. Look at what the Giants did with Eli. Missed the playoffs 11 out of his 16 years.
First ballot HOF should be an elite player. The crème de la crème. Eli Manning wasn’t that. Was never in an MVP conversation, never an all-pro, and from a stats perspective was a compiler. That may merit eventually getting in but is not good enough for first ballot. LT is a first ballot HOF.
Great points.
PS Go Saquon! .. make the Giants FO soil themselves.
This has become entertainment, it's controlled by a commissioner who controls the refs, all they do is sell the grestest player ever crdp. The Pat's and not tbe Chiefs.
Peyton sucked his rookie year too
Sports fans just love to offer opinions and debate. How does my life- or your life- change if Eli gets into the HOF? really who cares - the dude is very rich- his family is football royalty- jeez, it’s like rooting for the King of England to have more money and property 😂
Keep yo broke @$$ quiet.
Let's be honest. Eli's body of work isn't as impressive as his generational peers.
Two Superbowl MVPs and 11th all time passing yards really is nothing I suppose. How is it Eli's fault that he played in an era where we had the best QB crop of all time. I genuinely don't get that.
How about as impressive as warren moon? Moon ( 1) one game over 500, with 8000 less yards, 75 less tds, 2 less super bowls, 2 less super bowl mvps,
Another veteran QB option who might be traded by a team from NFC W is Geno. He only has 1 year left with 31m in cap savings if he's cut and Seattle is currently 16m over the cap, they have to do SOMETHING with his contract. The relationship between Geno and DK seemed to be rocky at best through chunks of last year, with JSN getting a majority of targets and failing to connect even when DK was the intended target. Both are on their last year. One will be out of there for sure if not both, IMO.
Why it might be Geno who is moved is off a down year, in an offense that has a 2 headed monster in the backfield and 2 solid WR options, finding a QB in the mold of Hurts seems like a way a former DC would want to build their team. Ball control, milk the clock, take deep shots off PA to DK and use JSN as a mover of the sticks.
Do they want to commit to Geno off a down year where he threw for more yards but, took more sacks and threw a bunch more INTs? 2022 He was fantastic, easily one of the best throwers of the football across the entire NFL, but for 2 years in a row now he hasn't been able to match that production. How much blame does Grubb shoulder for their underwhelming year vs Geno vs shit OL vs first year HC things?
Maybe I was in a fever dream but I thought I remembered someone mentioning that Seattle would be looking to move on from him during last season and the drama with DK gave that some credence for me. I have to imagine he wants a contract going into his last year with only 13m in guaranteed and 44m against the cap the Seahawks might be of the mind to trade him if they cannot come to terms. I would be all over a potential deal for Geno tbh. Think he would be an ideal option if he wants out. He would fit perfectly in Daboll's system. One of the few maybe more than hypothetical options offering elite potential without commanding the top dollar salary or closing in on 40 like Stafford.
I'm not pulling this entirely from my ass, Jordan Babineaux the former S said in an interview that he believes Geno won't be the Seahawks QB in 2025. At the start of the interview he is also given credit for predicting that Russ was on his way out before he was eventually traded to Denver. He has to have some insight to the way their building thinks, and for that reason I think its a non 0% chance that Geno is traded.
