I'm Brazilian and the Brazilian food was not well represented in this video. All the Brazilian food did not look like authentic Brazilian cuisine at all. Great Mexican dad's though 👍

That feijoada seems to be missing a few items. When I've had it, it always came with some sauteed greens and a slice of orange. But Brazil is a huge country with a big population so maybe there are people who serve it without those items.
Yes it was missing a lot of items (including meats), and although Brazil is a huge country i can attest that there are virtually no variations on how it is prepared and served ( just the different choices of meats can vary from person to person)
@@rryckhdepending whether you’re on the north or south, some people put cachaça (Brazilian rum) in it and different cuts of meats. Some do fresh pork cuts, others do smoked. I mean ther are variations but not THAT different.
These are a good introduction to people that never had Brazilian food but they were all the simplest forms of the dishes. Those were some very sad looking coxinhas hahahaha
As a brazilian I can say that was the sadiest feijoada that I have ever seen, it was missing everything. The strogonoff look terrible and dry coxinha is just a bad coxinha... If they like these food they will really like the real brazilian food.
Fico feliz por apresentarem a comida do nosso país, mas triste pela forma que cada prato foi apresentado. A feijoada estava fraca, faltou mais carnes, couve, uma farofa bem feita e laranja para absorver a gordura. O estrogonofe parecia um cozido, só tentou parecer com nosso estrogonofe por ter batata palha do lado. A coxinha massuda e o açaí ralo e quase rosa foram pra acabar. Pelo menos o pão de queijo não parecia ser ruim. Espero que na proxima consigam uma boa cozinheira brasileira pra apresentar um pingo da nossa cultura.😊
The rice is actually on point,. In Brazil we generally keep it simple, just a bit of oil, some garlic and maybe onions, salt and two cups of water for each cup of rice.

Nem isso é feijoada e nem isso é farofa kkkkkkkkk Nada foi bem feito. A feijoada faltou várias carnes a couve e a laranja. A coxinha estava massuda e com recheio seco. O estrogonofe estava com uma cor estranha e cortes também estranhos. A farofa não era farofa, era farinha de mandioca temperada e seca, a gente compra isso no mercado quando tá com preguiça de torrar a própria farinha e usa essa pronta como base pra fazer a farofa.

That açaí had me screaming as someone from the north! Here we eat the Juice almost straight from the fruit as a liquid, sometime we add a bit of sugar, maybe a bit of tapioca flour, some eat with fried fish, but never with other fruits and stuff. Awesome video tho, always happy to see people reacting to our culture!
Here on Brazil we have classical combination of açai beside fruits, like condensed milk with Ninho Milk and banana. Açai has nearly infinite possibilities of adds in their final recipe lol
Omg, they have to give coxinha another chance. Really good ones it don't have a heavy dough. It is also very common a variety of the stuffing that is shredded chicken mixed with requeijão (sort of a cream cheese), so it gets moister. The feijoada also can be muuuuuch better, with couve and orange slices.
THAT'S NOT AÇAÍ!! That's like an Açaí sorbet, it's got like 20% açaí on it. Original açaí is eaten on the north region of Brazil and tastes different (and much better) than that!
As a allergic to milk, raspados is one of the best ice cream I have drinked, is just ice and a juice who can or not be artificial and its incredible delicious!
I'm brazilian and that is just Black beans (wich is delicious) but feijoada comes with way more types of meat and spices. My mom's and my aunt's feijoada are the best!
As a Brazilian from the northern part of the country (AKA the place AÇAÍ comes from) , I can say that was not the way we tent to drink/eat açaí at all. we have our sweet tooths that like to eat it like that, but It it usually served with fried fish or shrimp or some type meat/sausage, or even just with cassava flour (the best one is farinha d´água or farinha de puba for the full experience) or granulated tapioca for those who like crunch texture. buuut it's all riiight, we have such a big country and Brazilian cuisine can vary significantly from state to state
very nice. It only really missed the couve-manteiga with feijoada, and telling them to mix it all together. and of course, pepper sauce with the coxinhas!!

That was a pretty sad feijoada. The rice looks overcooked, the feijada is missing the meat, the farofa looks dry. Feijoada is always served with rice, farofa, orange slices and kale. The pão the queijo seemed dry and cold, the real pão de queijo is made with canastra and meia cura cheese, typical brazilian cheeses, you have to eat at the moment is taking out of the oven and you will be in heaven. And that was very sad looking coxinhas haha
Brazilian food has so much variety and flavor profiles. Mexican food is more heavily seasoned compared to Brazilian food, so I’m sure they were underwhelmed w/ these classic dishes flavor profiles. The only flavors that stuck out to them was salt and smokiness, which isn’t really anything complex.

Like... all the dishes seem like the barest bones version of each. Like the simplest possible Pão de Queijo, Feijoada and Strogonoff de Frango, and a seemingly mediocre Coxinha. Still glad they liked it overall.

Lembrando que "petit gateau" não é um nome de um doce como afirma o falso cozinheiro Jaquin, mas significa "pequeno doce". Qualquer doce pequeno pode se chamar de "petit gateau". O "petit gateau" que você fala se chama "fondant ao chocolat".
