Had a 1991 Cavalier RS with a 3.1 V6.... plenum gasket and head gasket that was due at just 70k miles. But had no issues with the car after these repairs. Kept it 17 years and only repairs, brakes, and mufflers. I consider this car as the best one i've had in term of reliability.
That spanking new Ridgeline just needs a new windshield +with some cool mods lifted shocks, bull-bars, BF-Goodrige tires and a cool graphic livery on, it would be dope..
That's weird. My 2000 Camry Kimberly was involved in a gun often a Katrina flood when hurricane Katrina passed over South Florida in 2005. She literally floated from one end of the parking garage to to the other but never got a drop of water inside the car. Also since the way the parking garage funneled down the water it was all fresh rainwater and not ocean salt assault. I've never had any issues issues due to that and in fact she now has 445000 miles on her today.
That’s a good Honda. The only potential damage may be the wiring for the seat accessories and the liner underneath the carpet, assuming it wasn’t saltwater. I would also change the cabin filter and run an ozone generator in it. Maybe check behind the door panels for moisture. Initially I thought would be a flood car, but dealership theft also crossed my mind.
Hell yeah I like when you bid on them while you’re there Randy, especially when you win them in the video. It’s success all around for you and it is great content. 👍
Hello Randy I love the new way you show everybody you bid on cars at copart keep the awesome work up thanks for all you're time showing us you're content
My friend had a similar flood with her Cobalt, parked in an angled driveway that the creek overflowed during the night. Just water entered the front area almost to the pedal pads, back floor just damp. Never reached the seat bottoms. She took pics as she was out of state. Pulled the mats out and shop vac'd it out and let it dry. Did call insurance and drove the car from MA back to CT. Insurance totaled it since water entered the passenger compartment, it was thier policy with flood vehicles. If the water never got inside it wouldn't have been totaled. While there was likely nothing wrong with the car even in the long term they didn't want the liability for years to come if possible issues arrose. Totaling is the easiest way for insurance to rid any liability to it. Also if she kept it (buy back) they would only allow liability coverage on it and no longer full.
Older kias Hyundai’s and Toyota’s tend to idle higher to help warm up the cars faster which helps with emissions and gas mileage is better when warmed up. Totally normal. My corolla idles at 1800 when cold and drops in 1-3 minutes depending on temperature
Liking the new format. That fire hazard Range Rover was on Lucky's video at the dealer only auction a week or two ago. The video he did with Bad Bonny.
Go for the Lumina, great cars. Very safe. I had a 99 I inherited from my uncle. Loved that car. Also, the Impala in front of it looks God. Nasty rust, though.
@@jblank74 oh yeah, plus the body rot. Should have waited until he did the full walk around. The one I had the same gasket problems. I also had a 1997 Malibu that had the same gasket problems .
Thank you for another fun one. The good, of course the bad and the ones in the background that make you wonder, what about them. Watching the on the spot bidding completes the fun for me..
at 12:05 dont buy that Lumina they r known for the engine cradle to rust out an if it has that much rust on the rockers I am for sure that the engine cradle is rusted out to no good my friend on to the next one lol
My grandpa had a 96 Chevy lumina, it was a great car, after my grandpa had the engine rebuilt at 12,000 miles. Then someone rear ended it on my 18th birthday on the way back from high school. It was great and looked just as nice as this one, however, the frames on these rust out pretty bad.
That expedition seems like it could be saved, ofcourse you have a few others on your plate but since you know the common issues with the 3vs , some maintenance and voila , would be a good swap like a 6k rig as is even as a gas guzzler, also thank you for the continued videos and entertainment as always and stay safe 👍
Buy the Expedition and put a phaser lockout kit on it. I think they're like $750 with flash programmer. That could be good content and maybe help someone fix theirs. Gotta get it cheap though.
So I'm guessing that being a flood car or having a "flood title" automatically voids the factory warranty, even if there is no critical damage? Doesn't seem to me that it would be all that expensive or involved to dry it out and replace the windshield...
should’ve checked the power seats on that ridge line if it was mine first thing i’d do is take those seats out and clean the connectors with contact cleaner
I'm definitely hoping you get that Ridgeline truck Randy and I wouldn't mind seeing you get that Kia too. :) This "what the hell let's throw a bid on it" Randy is my kinda guy haha #goodcontent
on the 5.4L Expedition- are you gonna do the cam phasers? Don't forget to change the plugs too LOL (get the Lisle removal tool if you don't already have it)
That’s why when I buy my new vehicles I always put down a minimum of $8,000 to $10,000 so that I’m not upside down if something happens once I drive off the lot. That plus gap insurance always
randy you have brougth worst in past and you got good in past as well . you can patch in those rockers with new ones .look at your 55 chevy 4dr sedan now a conv. so or wise you have to get some of those cars and suv. and getting some of those cars and you can buy more again tom.
Honda is a flood? Lumina with rust no! Expedition hmm not sure. Little Kia yes. Man Range Rover at the end she’s toast! Definitely like the new format!
The subframe is probably toast on that lumina, sure don't waste any time with it, the Ford expedition sounds like an engine knock,Kia is a common man car, buy cheap, sell cheap, and that last vehicle, Liked, Fullview Always, Have a Safe Week
I would not pass that lumina up. All you need to do is go over some railroad tracks fast and it will split into two cars. And it has a built in milkshake maker!
Well...... Ok then. I WAS gonna say if all the issue with the Lumina was the rocker, I'd just say replace them. That was until I seen the cooling system and the sparkles in it

They made the bed on the ridgeline look separated but its actually not
True just looks that way! Saw a review on those!
Damn just when we thought
It’s not just for looks. It’s so the unibody has some flex.

That is a CAR
Toyota seems to be too good to be true , my 31 year old Corolla has only needed a starter and muffler in 345 K miles !
I’ll take the Ridgeline and Lumina!! Have a great day!
@Edward Martinez Yes I commented before seeing that.
on the ridgeline could be parts shortage cant get replacements fast enough
That’s a good Honda. The only potential damage may be the wiring for the seat accessories and the liner underneath the carpet, assuming it wasn’t saltwater. I would also change the cabin filter and run an ozone generator in it. Maybe check behind the door panels for moisture.

I was thinking lemon law when I first saw it

Copart near Springfield mo.
Hello Randy. The Honda Ridgeline is a great truck. The rest of the cars are awesome.
Randy,you said you heard a "tick,tick tick" ,what comes after that......BOOM !! 😄
@@bigjohnson7415 😆👍
I believe that Ridgeline has “technology package” thats why it has shift buttons
Technology package is Acura, is a Sport or a RT
I guess it comes like that factory in all trim levels with the new 9 speed trans
@@Luisrc.95 yea Honda made it push shift with the 9 and 10 speed the 2.0t Accord had it too
that blue trailblazer SS would be a freaking steal if its not fubar! plus they are super rare here in canada
11:26 What rockers? There's nothing left! That Lumina is ready to break in half.
Great! I’m glad your going to continue bidding at Copart while you look at them. Lots of fun seeing bidding with copart cars.
Wish the new episodes had live bidding. Definitely entertaining/
Hello Randy I love the new way you show everybody you bid on cars at copart keep the awesome work up thanks for all you're time showing us you're content
It is good to see live bids while you walk around enjoying the content keep up the good work. 🇨🇦
It so entertaining watching the walk-around, great job Randy
I had the 3100 engine in a Chevy Beretta when I was in dental school, very reliable and powerful motor...
Randy I love the new format & Thanks for another good Walk Around

Chances are that Ridgeline has no real damage so whoever lands that cheap is getting a great deal minus the flood title.
Challenge: Find a walkaround video where Randy doesn’t say “Dead as a door nail “
We can turn his catchphrases into a drinking game
What about the air conditioner is ice cold guys!!
Or "if I can get the d_ _ _ _ hood to open!!!!!"
Or him contemplating his financial divisions
It ain’t gonna happen. Lol!
Hi Randy, I love the live bidding. its a wonderful idea!!
Older kias Hyundai’s and Toyota’s tend to idle higher to help warm up the cars faster which helps with emissions and gas mileage is better when warmed up. Totally normal. My corolla idles at 1800 when cold and drops in 1-3 minutes depending on temperature

I prefer the normal shifter too. I wonder what makes car companies decide that these push buttons things are better.
Love the live bidding Randy , fantastic video 👍
Thank you for another fun one. The good, of course the bad and the ones in the background that make you wonder, what about them. Watching the on the spot bidding completes the fun for me..
Like the new Ridgeline. Styling is a whole lot better than earlier model.
That Honda PU would be a win. No water got that high!
I'd still pull the seats and carpet in the Ridgeline to check for mold and rust. Clean the carpet and give it a few hours with the ozone generator.
at 12:05 dont buy that Lumina they r known for the engine cradle to rust out an if it has that much rust on the rockers I am for sure that the engine cradle is rusted out to no good my friend on to the next one lol
Hi Randy, I really love your videos. Keep up the good work
Randy, you are spectacular and such an honest guy. I love watch you videos. The live bidding is unique. Thank you from Houston, Tx.
Randy your zoom in and audio enhancement is on point in this video
"My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard" 13:13
Yeah live bids are spontaneous and cool. 😎👍🇨🇦

I like the new format Randy. I also would find it entertaining to see you drive that expedition 3v down to AAR headquarters and try to fix it up.
Good luck buddyhope. You win a bunch of cars
Great video Randy! I love the new format watching you spend your hard earned money is pretty fun.

At least it did not get to the seat cushions and dash. Remove the seats and check the carpet and floor for water. Check the transmission for water?
I like the new format Randy 👍👍
should’ve checked the power seats on that ridge line if it was mine first thing i’d do is take those seats out and clean the connectors with contact cleaner
I've never had a issue with the 5.4 3V guess I've been lucky. My last f150 had 298k no issues
I drove a Kia Spectra and she was fun to drive and reliable. Great daily driver and easy to fix (simple).
Keep doing the live bidding!! It's fun and intense
I have a 06 3 valve 5.4 triton expedition with 350 thousand miles zero problems. I would buy that one you looked at.
Before knowing about the ridgeline, I'm going to say maybe either theft recovery? Or flood?
Those were my thoughts, too. I was actually leaning towards theft recovery but that turned out not to be the damage.
Ok, now that I've seen it, looks to me someone has a really good friend or family member as an insurance agent!
That Lumina is toast
Yes, liking the new format.
Go for it. The Ford Expedition.
Ridgeline is a win. I would yank seats and carpet oit let it dry out if it nreds it and it would probably have no issues.
I'm definitely hoping you get that Ridgeline truck Randy and I wouldn't mind seeing you get that Kia too. :) This "what the hell let's throw a bid on it" Randy is my kinda guy haha #goodcontent
Love the Honda Ridgeline
on the 5.4L Expedition- are you gonna do the cam phasers? Don't forget to change the plugs too LOL (get the Lisle removal tool if you don't already have it)
Thise luminas used to be my bread and butter in the day
You can get aftermarket rockers for the second gen ration Lumina on Ebay for 80.00 a side
That’s why when I buy my new vehicles I always put down a minimum of $8,000 to $10,000 so that I’m not upside down if something happens once I drive off the lot. That plus gap insurance always
That Lumina needs the neutral drop treatment!

Those small cars with trailer hitches probably have storage racks or bike racks attached to hitch.
Expedition are fun in the snow with 4WD
Honda is a flood? Lumina with rust no! Expedition hmm not sure. Little Kia yes. Man Range Rover at the end she’s toast! Definitely like the new format!
My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard~
Love the new format and love the vlogs
That poor P38 Range Rover. Definitely seen some better days, but starting to appreciate in value now!
Loved the live bidding! keep it going please...
The subframe is probably toast on that lumina, sure don't waste any time with it, the Ford expedition sounds like an engine knock,Kia is a common man car, buy cheap, sell cheap, and that last vehicle, Liked, Fullview Always, Have a Safe Week
Good day Randy ! Could you check the infinity truck on the right side of the Kia spectra please?
Thank you!
The semi flood ridgeline would be an awesome purchase!
Should see what's up with that trailblazer SS behind that dead range rover you did at the end...not many of those left
Love the new format buddy
Randy, that Impala from Michigan? That's Michigan rust!
That is definitely not the Milkshake that brings the boys to the yard.
Stick with your initial feeling, you won't get in trouble!
I didn’t know the ridge lines looked that slick! Very nice.... truck ??😂
Awesome video. Smashing that thumbs up 👍👍
That trailblazer SS tho 👀
fresh water wont hurt much,,salt water well it will eat up electronics
The Exploder sounds good pretty good. Might be a bad roller follower or lifter.
I didn’t see the Honda Ridgeline listed on Copart in OK.
Those 3100 V6 GM are famous for blowing head gaskets. Never will buy another 3100. My 2000 Impala blew both sides head gasket for nothing
I would not pass that lumina up. All you need to do is go over some railroad tracks fast and it will split into two cars. And it has a built in milkshake maker!
Who are you calling an old person!
Oops sounds like the Chevy lumina has a blown head but the rust I've seen worse being up north for beater not bad the blown head gasket nah
The truck has a level bed now no slope
Love this live bidding you have been doing
Well...... Ok then. I WAS gonna say if all the issue with the Lumina was the rocker, I'd just say replace them. That was until I seen the cooling system and the sparkles in it
Need u do something on Lexus E350 and Camry 2010 models😍
That 2021 Honda 4 doors pick-up, I am interested where that Copat is located please?.
Chrysler Valiant, Dodge Dart in 1965 had push button automatic then it scrapped the next year.
No they didn't. 1964 was the last year for the push buttons.
Man this was a great video love the live bidding keep up the great job u do
BE EXPECTING MANY MORE FROM NEW ORLEANS!!!!!
Buy the 2008 expedition, that is a normal motor. I had a 2016 it made the same noise
