I’m only going to live bid when there are cars I want to bid on I’m not just going to arbitrarily bid on cars for content tomorrow’s video and the next day we will be bidding
The Escape is a good little SUV that is a way more reliable alternative to the Chevy Equinox. I bought my wife a 2013 Escape that had 80,000 miles a year and a half ago and put 45,000 miles on it. I also work for a municipality that has 8 Escapes in their fleet so I feel like I know these vehicles well. With that said, if you are looking at a 2013 and newer model year, be sure it has the 2.0L Ecoboost and not the smaller 1.6L (might be a 1.5L in newer model years) base engine that is a dud. They also suffer from rust issues in the rust belt states so check the strut tower mounts. There is an active recall on 2013 to 2019 Escape for a shifter part so that is something you will need to talk to a dealer about as well. Overall, the models with the 2.0L are solid vehicles.
The Lincoln has coolant intrusion from the block. Common issue on ford 1.5/2.0 ecoboost. Only fix is a new block with a newer coolant passage design. Ford has a TSB on this.
Hi Randy. I’m thinking about the town car. Could it be as easy as a broken linkage to the gearbox? Aren’t they known for braking cables in the steering column?Would be cool content for your channel if it was a quick fix😉
My first new car purchase was the first model year of the Malibu maxx. The rear moonroof came in handy for our newborn cause she just stared out it the whole time lol.
The Chevy Malibu is a great car! I got a used one for my son in his senior high school year and he's still driving it three years later. It's very reliable and great on gas!
Randy I’m 19 years old and I’ve had a 2012 Chevy Malibu almost just like the one you showed in the video since I was 16. Like you said, it is a great first car. Not super fast so it keeps me out of trouble, but gets good gas mileage and has tons of space to drive all sorts of people and stuff around!
Hey Randy, on the 84 Lincoln, it's possible the shift linkage is disconnected at the transmission, since the brakes have failed. We used to do that at the yard I worked at to prevent people from wrecking the cars.
Absolutely love those Tundra’s. That 4.7L scares me. The fact that timing belt it is a timing belt engine isn’t a absolute deal breaker. My preference would be the 4.6L or better yet the 5.7L iForce. The deal breaker for me is the location of the starter on the 4.7L. It’s under the intake manifold in the V of the engine. That could actually be a botched starter job. You’d have to remove a lot of that stuff just to get to the starter.
It’s not hard to change the starter, and if the belt is changed every 60k it will be perfectly fine, very strong motors I’ve seen them with 400k timing belt isn’t too hard either.
@@aidenp7232 For a do it yourselfer it seems a little intimidating. I know the engine is reliable. There’s a video with a 4.7L with over 1,000,000 miles on it. The truck overall looked to be in amazing shape for the miles. There was no mention on how many timing belts and water pumps were replaced. I imagine the starter would probably last 200-400k miles depending on your driving conditions. Definitely would stick with OEM or just take it to a shop and have them rebuild your core. It’s about the same slightly more expensive than a rebuilt one done in China. Worth every penny. I’ve had good luck doing that with model specific cores.
The F150 was owned by the 600 pound per person 5 member sweater family! It has 157,000 easy miles as transportation for them to travel city to city and graze in the Home Town and Golden corral buffets for breakfast lunch and dinner and once in a while accidents do happen!
If you don whant the go pro overheting, don record in 4K, record in 1080p, it will record full HD and wont over heat, and the battery ĺast longer, will record longer in the mini sd. The flikr, in the screen its not de camera is the LEDlighting backlight
I tend to look for imperfections in a vehicle myself hell thanks to Randy I checked them almost like a fine tooth comb down to the air conditioning hell it’s hot in Georgia so air conditioning is a must.
The 2.0 MKZ from the research I've done I was looking at getting my wife one. Apparently they have a class action lawsuit for the four cylinders having a bad block design and leaking coolant into the cylinders that can cause catastrophic engine failure
That rattle on the F-150 is pretty much guaranteed to be a blown tensioner. If that's the case that's a big job... I may love doing that job, but most people don't!
Unless it’s just the camera lighting, I’m surprised you didn’t call out the color mismatch on the Malibu’s bumper covers. That, plus the crystal clear headlights, is highly suggestive of prior front end damage.
Hi How are you going, I'm a Ford Guy but the Malabu would be a good car. Even though it's dusty under the hood, all it needs a hi pressure wash. Good content, keep up the good work 👍 from Dave in Australia.
@Auto Auction Rebuilds That Malibu's millage is something and low let alone the tires that are on it. Hail Damage doesn't make the car run badly, it just shows character ! My car is cleaner then my house.....lol
Bro the FORD looks good to our channel 👌also from my opinion it’s well maintained car so no worries 😉 on it just needs a detail and a tail light ✨and back on the road 🥳🥳
Hey man I hate to ask but if you see grand prixs and 98-01 Corollas? I loved the Grand Prix wide track you had motivated me to get one wlout the rod knocn
I hear ya about new phones and technology. My phone died on me well it didn't really die just the sim card reader quit working. So we had to get new phones this month and a new TV. Lol when it rains it pours right? Lol but the silver lining is that it is September and like you said new upgrades on technology is working
Do you think someone deliberately disconnected those items on the Tundra, just to get it “almost free “ ? Just asking, dunno if that’s possible; love the Ford SUV , though. I need to connect with you one on one.
Hi Randy i am looking for 2 cars. my first one is a 2014 Chevy Cruze an a 2011 Bmw 330i sedan. Please Randy if you find these i really wanna see if i can find 1. The only 1 i have found was a 2 door i want the 4 door BUT i will take whatever i can get. Thanks an A Loyal Subscriber ❤️
I’m 16 and my first car is a 2011 Malibu LOL. My mother bought it for me for $2000 but it has 205k miles. It’s the same spec as the one in the video but it’s in white. I love the car but it’s already hurt my wallet.
Looking at your videos is like if I am there with you! A lot of times I say, “Roll those Dice Randy, Roll those DICE??” I would buy the Tundra if it was cheap because if you had to put a rebuilt engine in the Tundra and the truck will run another 200k or sell like hot cakes for a nice profit!
Love the F-150. I know you’re experienced in the Triton vibrations but I’d love a cheap one and run the risk and detail the hell out of it. . If you can find those same model years (03-08) w/the 2 valve, I’d think that would get views & be interesting.
Glad to see more walk arounds and that is to bad about that Town Car and Tundra. The Town Car would have been awesome for the channel and content plus got to love the comfort of those things. Something is probably wrong with the transmission on it. Great video as always Randy keep it up and can't wait for more live bidding.👌👍
I have a GoPro Hero 7 that I have used quite often doing off-road events and it's been out in the sun all day in the Southeast. I've never had an over heating issue with it. I was just about to buy a new one but that scares me with the issues you are having. Is it worth getting the new one?
Audi is definitely out of my league too! Malibu would be a great car for a kid! Like the ford my wife has a brand new escape! Ford pickup good work truck! Bummer about the Toyota! Lincoln maybe flood? Ok undercarriage?

@@AutoAuctionRebuilds great video Randy!!
I remember back when I was in high school there was a bunch of Cavaliers, Sunfires and a few Tempos but my parents used to make me drive a minivan

That vibration on the F150 was that Spider humping that engine Randy lol.
Lol 😂 I’m dead 😵
2 Copart Walkaround uploads this quick? Daang Randy you are spoiling us! Keep up the great work man!! 👌👌
And it in the morning he doing he thang! he actually not just liking comments but listening to us
Good taste Randy, I found that F-150 grill fugly too! 😁👍

On the Ford Escape hatch, that's normal to have 2 stages, you can set it to either for garage heights...
The spider was jumping to balance the misfire on the engine😆

the escape is nice and the abs light was off when you put the engine off
That nice Ford Titanium SUV would be nice for Jessica, not too small, not too big :)
The 2.0 MKZ from the research I've done I was looking at getting my wife one. Apparently they have a class action lawsuit for the four cylinders having a bad block design and leaking coolant into the cylinders that can cause catastrophic engine failure
Randy, you missed the hood gap on the Lincoln MKZ on the passenger side! It’s completely on the fender! Yes a previous accident that has been fixed
My 01 F-150 had the 5.4 I changed all the coil packs and spark plugs at the same time. She ran great after that.
The Ford Escape looks good
👍🚘❤️💖
27:18 You should put some electrical tape on that wire of your booster pack. That is a fire hazard when it shorts to a car body.
Hey Randy. I have a 2016 Escape they’re great if you take care of them.
That rattle on the F-150 is pretty much guaranteed to be a blown tensioner. If that's the case that's a big job... I may love doing that job, but most people don't!

On lots of that gen Chevys, the bumpers fade before the paint
That Ford Escape Titanium would be perfect for me.
The grille looks like a modified Lincoln grille
I'm not doing a GoPro until they can get you one that doesn't choke. 77 degree ambient shutdowns? Way beyond absurd.
What about that 4runner behind the Malibu?
My 06 Tundra. Best truck I've had. Has 243k on it. Runs great
Good video Randy Love the variety of vehicles The low mileage Malibu my favorite
How does Christine feel about the truck
The Malibu is great. I drive a 2016 (2017 of the dealership) and it is a great car. The car is a safe and reliable.

You should show some GMCs Randy. I've seen a couple good ones in your videos over the time watching them
I love changes you are making to the channel, nice work
What about the red Tacoma?
I drive enough in 2 years to wear out the expensive brands (45-50k). So I focus on high tread life mid brands.

Hey Randy, big fan of your channel. wondering if you can show any Mitsubishi outlander sports..
If I can’t find them sure
Good to see you again buddy
I have a question Randy, do you ever showed a Acura TL in Copart or IAA?
I like the Malibu 😀
That looks like a 4.7 in that Tundra, and my guess is that the timing belt broke or the motor is seized .
I had an 04 it was the same way 04 is when they brought out the 3 valve
My 04 Expedition is a 2 valve
