CPA Rifle 45-90 Unboxing and First Look

In this video, we have a look at our brand new CPA/Stevens model 44 1/2 rifle, chambered in 45-90. This rifle was ordered in October of last year (2021). It has the following features:
Extra Fancy wood
Bright blue barrel finish (top flat bead blasted)
Color case hardened receiver (tiger stripe in the original Stevens fashion)
Douglass XX Super match barrel with 1 twist in 15"
Ball and Spur lever with finished wood insert
MVA Long Range Soule sights (changed out for a scope already)
We cover assembling the rifle, slugging both ends of the barrel, determining max COAL, and we find the null point.
In future videos, we will go over fire forming brass for it and doing the initial ladder test with the formed brass to figure out where our best load is likely to be found.
