@Phoenix Flames Do you have the sample set to loop? If a sample doesn’t have its loop settings properly adjusted, then it can make a clicking or beeping noise when it loops. If that’s not it, try making sure the sample is trimmed properly on the beginning and end

Hey! Good tutorial. Very straight foward, however, followed everything, NOTHING plays back in MuseScore. I'm trying to make my euphonium sample into a soundfont and transcribe Midnight Euphonium, but when I input the note value thing, that's where I'm confused. I put that it's an A# (Bb) because Audacity registered the fundimental tone of my euphonium as an A#, which right. When I put that note in Polyphone on my sample, then put it in MuseScore, NOTHING. What am I doing wrong?
I recommend setting loop to 0-0 and having the sample atleast 100 seconds long, for example i composed a C4 note 100 second long midi and converted it to mp3 (320 bit rate) then having Vol env decay (s) to 4, Vol env sustain (dB) to 6, Vol env release (s) to 4, Reverb (%) to 24

How do you set the velocity so it is not touch sensitive? As soon as I change the parameters it changes the saved version to have TS on all. I have also noticed there is no way to preview the sound as the in app keyboard does not actually work.
I'm not sure how to fix your touch-sensitive issue, but I can tell you that the in-app keyboard is just extremely finnicky. You may have to restart Polyphone once or twice to get it to work.
Hello Thirteen, would it be possible for you to edit a small size piano soundfont (i would put a download link here if you agree) , specifically reduce the amount of release, with Polyphone ? Thank you
Please explain to Me how can samples be assigned key ranges, it's just that My sound font contains 18 samples? This program doesn't even show how to do it...
If you’re only hearing one sound when testing in MuseScore, you might have to chance the instrument’s sound in the sidebar on the right. I’ll probably end up uploading something about multiple sounds soon since multiple people are asking about it
If you want one instrument that plays multiple sounds at once, then you import all of the samples you want, hold shift and click on all the ones you want, then create an instrument. If you want a soundfont with multiple instruments or one instrument that plays multiple sounds depending on what key you play I have tutorials for those in this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PL2l8IVr2HIYlN410nF9mLkAF6fmg_idrO.html
I assume you want your soundfont to play multiple sounds, and there are a couple methods. You can either create multiple instruments, with each one corresponding to a different voice sample, or you can have one instrument with all of the samples, just spread our across the keyboard. I have tutorials for both of those, in this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PL2l8IVr2HIYlN410nF9mLkAF6fmg_idrO.html If this isn't the answer you're looking for, you might need to elaborate the question a bit.

There could be a few problems, but if the sound doesn't play until it's been held for a bit, then the issue is probably that the original sample has a bit of silence at the very start. If you use a sample that has no silence at the beginning, then that should fix the problem, but of course I don't have all the details.
It may be an issue with Audacity’s pitch detection, I’d recommend tweaking the sample’s pitch a bit in both directions and if that doesn’t work maybe look into other programs to detect the correct pitch from your sample
@@disneyfan0639 Are you using some other program to determine the sample's pitch, then? Polyphone doesn't detect the pitch of the samples you input, so you have to enter them manually using the data given to you by a pitch detection program. A pitch detection program (such as Audacity) is REQUIRED to make an on-key soundfont. 0:38 in the video explains how to use Audacity to get the pitch.
Audacity isn’t a virus, so no. If you’re scared of Audacity for some reason then any other program that can determine the pitch of a sample will work instead, Audacity is just the easiest and most accessible
@@thirteenling yea i had audacity before i installed the newest update and immediately gave me some trojan alerts i had to change pc so if i was in u i wouldnt trust it
Once you export the soundfont as a sf2 file, you have to move it to the Sounfonts folder in your MuseScore directory. When you install MuseScore you had to choose a place to put the main MuseScore folder, just go to wherever you put that folder and put the soundfont in the soundfont folder
That just means that your sample is a mono sample instead of a stereo sample. It’s completely fine, just do everything the same except only select the one sample when creating an instrument.
