Thanks. This helped me. Also, I had English subtitles on and when you sung in your language the auto-generated subtitles tried to guess the words as if it was in English haha.Great video.

In Audacity 2.3.3+, the Equalization effect has been replaced by two new effects:
Filter Curve: An FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) filter, similar to "Draw" mode in the old Equalization effect.
Graphic EQ: A graphic equalizer, similar to the "Graphic" mode in the old Equalization effect.
The old Equalization effect is no longer available.
Note that in the new effects, the preset curves are now accessed via the "Manage" button, in "Factory Presets".

I don't know why but when I use Audacity recording my singing with a music, it just doesn't sound right. it doesn't matter I sing in tune or sing in temple, even I sing all correctly I always feel like my voice and the music are in the different dimension.
Make sure that both tracks are the same, or mono or stereo. Both need to be the same. You can select each individualy for mono or stereo up at 'tracks' or select both tracks together go to 'tracks' and made both mono or stereo.
Also, when you finish get some effects to the two tracks, say, revert, echo, and so forth like he shows.

just a noob question, how to record without recording the first track? cause if I record a new track the other track is being recorded as well
just add another track first, delete the audio, record.
You have to mute the first track then record.
You need to disable 'mix recording' on your windows voume options

Nah not on audacity, you would have to upgrade to a better software, like FL studios. Audacity is good for beginners but if you want to take it serious you would have to upgrade

Noise reduction process is damaging entire vocal record. It is becoming very much low quality audio.

@@Techunter how do you remove this noise reduction effect once it has been done and the file has been saved? There is no option to remove this effect.
@@bestlife9627 You cannot make the changes after the file has been saved. That;s way you always need to save the work as a project before saving it as a file. You can always later open the project saved and make whatever changes to it, but never cand do that to the file after saved as such. Cheers and keep safe.

i recently bought behringer umc22 sound card. i am trying to record as you explained. I import karaoke audio and created a track for my voice but when i hit record button i get an error message as; error opening recording device error code-9999 unanticipated host error and i cannot record. The microphone privacy settings on computer for audacity is allowed. I couldn't find what is wrong. Please please please help me !!!!!

I don’t know if this helps or if you even need it, but you should be able to click inside the audio clip where you want to record and then hit record to start off from that point. Again I’m sorry if that doesn’t help at all, but I hope it does :D
