Frisch's has the best Tartar Sauce, Ranch dressing and Pumpkin Pie. You can buy the Tartar Sauce and Pumpkin Pie (in the freezer section) at Kroger's, but, the Ranch dressing you have to buy from the actual restaurant. Such a shame !!!!
Yeah, all these restaurants went all-in on home delivery. They let all of their dining rooms fall into disrepair. Most are incapable of normal business operations now. I have been in about a half dozen restaurants where their dining rooms were completely run down and in a state of obvious disrepair. Price Hill Chili is among the worst in this regard. They even closed their diner room, you have to go in through the back door now. The floors are dirty,t he tables are dirty, and not just dirty, but grimy, and the tables are literally falling off the wall. I mean, would it kill you to tighten some screws from time to time? Maybe call in a floor cleaner, to you know, polish up the floor? Get out a spackling knife and peel the gum off the bottom of the tables. So yeah, many restaurants are in bad shape. And it is not just here.
When Craig & Karen Maier ran Frisch,s it ran like a well oiled clock & I can understand why they sold it , both were getting old & wanted to retire & there’s nothing wrong with that , but to sell a big franchise like that had to someone who was only in it for the money was sad . Aziz Hashim is a was the problem , he didn’t care about his customer base & you got very little food for more of an expensive price & they started to change the menu around . My mother work for Frisch,s as a manager for 18 years , I was a teen when she quit because they wanted her to work second shift when there were other people who were willing to work that shift , she got very tired of what her supervisor ( Mr Brown) was trying to pull on her , the company tried for months to get her to come back , even Craig & Karen Maier tried to reason with her , upping her pay by double & giving her days instead of nights like she wanted but by then she was done with them & after 18 years in the business & the disrespect by her supervisor she was done . Craig , Karen & her supervisor Mr Brown even went as far as coming to our house to try to sit down & talk to her , but they got my dad instead & he told all of them that she was completely done & they kept asking just to talk to her & begging my dad . To walk away from a job that you worked at for 18 years takes a lot of nerve for someone to do , but my mom did it , just walked away like she did . The Frisch,s family knew they had lost a great worker in their business & were by all means trying to get her back .
Just a friendly warning from a former employee, ;- don't eat there. I worked a lot of restaurants when I was young and the only place dirtier was a secret prep kitchen hiding from health inspectors intentionally.
